Just after she put on her slippers and stood up, in that instant, she felt dizzy and almost stumbled.

"Where are you going?" Bryan Hawkins was extremely anxious, quickly reaching out to steady her.

"Am I sick?" Carolline Ruiz was surprised, wondering why she felt light-headed and why Bryan Hawkins was so nervous.

"Yes, the doctor said you have a bit of a fever," Bryan Hawkins nodded. Seeing the doubtful look on Carolline Ruiz’s face, he explained more clearly, "He said it’s due to the pregnancy, just drink more water, and you’ll be fine."

"?" So, she was pregnant. That’s why she had been feeling so tired these past two days, it was all because of this.

Carolline Ruiz didn’t wait to feel happy; she first went to the restroom to relieve herself, then quickly washed up. When she came out, Bryan Hawkins had already had breakfast sent to the room.

"Wife, have some breakfast first, no matter what, don’t starve yourself." Bryan Hawkins called for a lavish breakfast, with everything available, so Carolline Ruiz could pick anything she liked, worried that she might be picky with food.

Carolline Ruiz came over, having just found out she was pregnant, she shouldn’t have morning sickness just yet. She ate quite a lot, tasting everything, and she would eat more of the things she hadn’t tried before.

Seeing that Carolline Ruiz still had a good appetite, after drinking a glass of water and opening the window for some fresh air, her temperature slowly returned to normal. Carolline Ruiz looked at the luggage on the other side.

"Are we leaving here?" Carolline Ruiz remembered they were supposed to enjoy today before moving on, to directly transfer to another continent. She actually felt that the honeymoon could just be like this.

For the latter half of the month, she really didn’t want to travel anymore. It would be nice to find a place and quietly enjoy it.

After all, in such a big world, it’s not possible to say that one could explore every place in a month, right?

"Yes, I’ve booked the tickets, we’re going back. I don’t trust the doctors here very much, after we return, we’ll have a proper checkup." Bryan Hawkins nodded, then thinking of Carolline Ruiz’s health, he added, "Of course, if you’re not feeling well, we can rest here for another two or three days."

"Then let’s stay a few more days, I want to buy some things to take back, there are lots of nice trinkets outside, I quite like them, to bring back as gifts for them." Carolline Ruiz nodded, since she was pregnant, naturally she couldn’t continue to play outside. When she was pregnant with Axel, there were some issues with the pregnancy early on, and she was genuinely worried about this one now.

"Alright," Bryan Hawkins agreed.

They spent a quiet two days there, then went out to buy some gifts. On the third day, early in the morning, they took a direct flight to G City.

The whole family came to pick them up at the airport, besides the in-laws, Carolline Ruiz also saw her own parents. She turned and glared at Bryan Hawkins; he must have told them all the news.

Really, the situation wasn’t even clear yet, and he had rashly shared the news of her pregnancy. What if it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy? Wouldn’t that make everyone overly excited for nothing?

"Mom, Dad, you’re back? Grandma said you’re going to have a little brother or sister?" Since he didn’t know if the baby was a boy or a girl, Axel Hawkins mentioned both.

"Axel’s got a good point, it would be great to have both," Bryan Hawkins was delighted, hoping for boy-girl twins, just to see how his younger brother would show off in front of him then.

He only bragged because he had a daughter; just watch, he would soon have his own too.

"..." Carolline Ruiz was speechless; could this man be any more greedy?

"Axel, did you miss Mommy? Mommy missed you so much." Carolline Ruiz hugged Axel and showered him with kisses, being a mother really was different; going outside always made her miss her son terribly.

"Yes, I did, and I missed Daddy too," Axel Hawkins said loudly.

"Such a good boy, alright, let’s get ready to go home," praised Carolline Ruiz, holding Axel’s hand and walking towards the elders.

"Bryan, aren’t you going to properly support Carolline?" Sophia Lawson said to Bryan Hawkins. Honestly, his wife was pregnant, and he let her walk by herself with their son, "Axel, go help them with the luggage."

"Oh, okay." Austin Hawkins went over to take the luggage trolley from Bryan Hawkins’ hands, allowing Bryan to support Carolline.

The family then made their way outside; two cars were parked one behind the other - one for the family of three and the other for the four elders.
