"Your wife is pregnant." The doctor seemed unfazed, having seen too many first-time fathers react with a blank state upon hearing their wives were pregnant.

After sending the doctor away, Bryan immediately called Sophia Lawson to relay the news of Carolline’s pregnancy. Sophia immediately instructed them to return home, pointing out that since Carolline was pregnant, she shouldn’t continue running around with him outdoors.

Bryan thought the same, and shortly after the doctor left, Carolline awoke. When she woke up, she saw Bryan had already packed their luggage. She felt limp all over and didn’t think much of it, assuming it was due to the exhaustion from yesterday. After all, she felt groggy and seemed always sleepy that morning.

"Awake? How do you feel?" Hearing rustling sounds from the bed, Bryan immediately stopped what he was doing and rushed to Carolline’s side, asking worriedly.

"Try to restrain yourself from now on." Carolline actually had many complaints, but her coy complaints appeared incredibly alluring in Bryan’s eyes. However, considering her condition now carrying their second child, he naturally dared not act rashly.
