Chapter 1087: 002 Facing the threat head-on_3

"Sister, Auntie Daisy and Elena haven’t arrived yet, and we’re already starting to eat; that’s so impolite, not to mention Dad hasn’t even come yet." Liam Carrington strongly disapproved of Stella Carrington’s actions. He knew Stella Carrington was uncomfortable because, these days, every time their dad had time, she would plead with him not to bring Daisy Willow and Elena back to M Country.

"But I’m hungry," Stella Carrington feigned innocence. In truth, she wasn’t hungry at all; she had had a full breakfast, and her bag was stuffed with plenty of snacks. Yet, she enjoyed stirring the pot, unwilling to let Daisy Willow and Elena feel at ease.

"Fine," Liam Carrington couldn’t argue with her since their dad indeed had given such instructions before he left.

"Let’s start the pot," Stella Carrington told the waiter.

"Okay, young one," the waiter immediately used the microphone to speak to the kitchen, "VIP room 1206 is starting the pot, clear broth."

"I’m going to get some dim sum; Liam, do you want to come with me?" Stella Carrington knew Liam didn’t like her. At first, she cared, but now she couldn’t care less.

"I won’t go; I’ll wait for Sister Elena to come before I go," Liam Carrington flatly refused.

"You could get something for Sister Elena to eat; they must be tired and hungry after the flight," Stella Carrington deliberately said this to Liam Carrington.

"..." Liam Carrington thought it over and felt there was some truth to her words, so he followed Stella Carrington out to get some dim sum.

As a result, aside from dim sum, Stella Carrington also grabbed other stuff. Being young and VIP guests, a waiter followed them around, catering to their every wish with just a point of the finger or a word.

Seeing that Stella Carrington had gotten so much and that many items weren’t his favorites, nor did Sister Elena like them, Liam Carrington frowned, "Sister, you ordered so much; can you finish it? If not, there’s a fine."

"Why worry so needlessly? Aren’t Auntie Daisy and Elena here? Auntie Daisy always teaches us not to be picky, doesn’t she?" Stella Carrington didn’t care and continued to order and have the waiter carry the items.

When they returned to their private room, she had the waiter cook all her favorite items in the pot, leaving behind everything she didn’t like, which, of course, included those that Daisy Willow and Elena didn’t like either.

She was deliberately wasteful, planning to blame it on Daisy Willow and Elena later on. Moreover, she had specially ordered so many delicious items for them. If they didn’t eat and there were leftovers, naturally it would be their fault.

Stella Carrington thought her scheme was clever; this way, her father’s feelings toward Daisy Willow might not be as favorable as before.

A person who doesn’t know how to cherish food, her father once said, he didn’t like such people.

Before the dishes were ready, Stella Carrington ate quite a bit of dim sum and ice cream. The items she ordered weren’t many, with more intended for Daisy Willow and Elena.

Therefore, when the dishes were ready, she began eating from the pot, turning the clean table into a mess on purpose. The etiquette course taught in kindergarten had instructed high standards, and as a young lady of the Carrington family, she inherently possessed these qualities. However, she was also an expert at creating chaos, and Stella Carrington ate as if it were her absolute right.

Liam Carrington just sat by and watched her eat.

Shortly after, Daisy Willow and the others arrived, and Simon Carrington saw that Stella Carrington had already begun eating and had ordered so many items, none of which were her usual favorites. Yet she had still ordered them, and his expression darkened.

"Stella, why did you order things you don’t like to eat?" The shop owner’s rule was no wasting; the compensation required here for waste was higher than at other places. He wasn’t worried about the compensation, but he actually also agreed with the no-waste rule and believed it should start with children.

"I ordered them for Auntie Daisy and Elena; they must be exhausted from the flight, so I ordered some things ahead of time to have ready when you arrived, so you could eat right away." Stella Carrington lowered her eyes, sounding utterly sincere.

Daisy Willow was touched, appreciating Stella Carrington’s consideration for them, even though she knew Elena probably wouldn’t like the dishes; but it was okay—disliking didn’t mean one couldn’t eat.
