Stella Carrington and Liam Carrington were picked up and taken away, and it was only after receiving Daisy Willow’s repeated assurances that Liam reluctantly followed Simon Carrington and left.

Not long after they left, Axel was taken away by Emily Hill.

Daisy Willow and her family got ready, this year for Spring Festival, it was a rare occasion for the family to reunite, so of course, they planned to return to the old house as all the relatives were there.

Although they had settled in G City, they still went back to celebrate the festival and bond with their relatives.

Particularly Daisy Willow’s father, as one gets older, they think about returning home to have a look.

The Willow Family had a very comfortable Spring Festival at the old house and only returned to G City on the seventh day because Samuel Willow’s small supermarket couldn’t be closed for too long, and the couple was eager to come back and open the store. Daisy Willow also received a call from Simon Carrington, saying he would be returning to M Country earlier than planned.

Originally, they had planned to leave after the big holiday, but since Spring Festival isn’t celebrated abroad, it was under tremendous pressure that they were able to take these few days off—let alone that they had rushed back to attend Carolline Ruiz’s wedding.

The sorrow of parting thus seeped into the hearts of the Willows, knowing well that Daisy and Elena Duncan would definitely be leaving. Still, when the day actually arrived, Daisy Willow’s mother was very upset, holding Elena and crying for a while.

"Grandma, don’t cry, Elena will miss you a lot, and Elena will video call you as well, okay?" Elena consoled Daisy Willow’s mother, her small eyes also brimming with tears.

"Mhm, Grandma knows, Grandma just can’t bear to part with you and your mom." Daisy Willow’s mother nodded, aware that with today’s advanced technology, video calls were equivalent to seeing each other every day. However, the feeling of looking after someone in person and watching them through a screen was completely different.

Daisy Willow was packing things in her room and heard Daisy Willow’s mother and Elena saying their goodbyes, feeling a sense of separation anxiety. Thankfully, modern transportation was so advanced that a plane would quickly bring them back.

Elena also needed to return to school for her classes. Her English had improved a lot in the authentic English environment abroad, which was much more conducive to a child’s spoken language skills than in her home country.

With not much to pack, Daisy Willow put everything into a suitcase and dragged it out.

"Mom, whenever you miss us, just call, and we’ll do the same when we miss you," Daisy Willow told her mother, watching her simply nod and continue to wipe away tears.

Seeing this, Elena reached out her small hand to help wipe her grandmother’s tears. She hadn’t told Axel yet that she was leaving early, and she didn’t want to. If Axel found out, it would be another bout of parting melancholy, and she didn’t want to face saying goodbye to Axel.

Thus, when Elena learned they would be leaving today, she told Evelyn Willow to get along well with Axel, emphasizing that Axel was a very good person.

Kent Auclair was delighted for quite some time over this. Elena was leaving without telling Axel, did this mean that if that kid wanted any news about Elena in the future, he would have to come to him and plead for it?

Overjoyed, Kent ecstatically nodded his head, shoving all the tasty treats his mother bought him at Elena, urging her to take them on the plane to eat. However, Elena declined, saying she didn’t like those snacks anymore and hadn’t been too fond of too many treats to begin with.

Just as Daisy Willow was about to say something else to her mother, the driver sent by Simon Carrington arrived. Since Simon had bought tickets departing from Kyoto, Daisy and Elena first had to hurry from G City to Kyoto to meet up with Simon at the Kyoto airport.

"Alright, the driver has arrived, you two should hurry down, don’t keep him waiting." Hearing the conversation between Daisy Willow and the driver, Daisy Willow’s mother quickly wiped her tears and urged them to leave.

Daisy Willow stepped forward and embraced her mother before taking Elena by the hand and departing.

Their flight from Kyoto to M Country was at six in the evening, and they were on the nine o’clock flight to Kyoto, where they would wait another five or six hours.

Simon Carrington and his family were in Kyoto, planning to have lunch together.

Both Liam and Stella Carrington wanted to eat at a buffet, and Simon had agreed, knowing that Elena also quite liked buffets.

Before meeting up with Daisy and her daughter, Simon had already arranged for Liam and Stella to be settled in the buffet restaurant, and after picking the mother and daughter up, he headed straight there.
