Chapter 1043: 024 Unlicensed Driving_3
Using the trendy internet slang, Avery Graham was stunned. Was this really someone about to be a mother of two, her eyes so sharp?
"There’s evidence on your neck," Carolline Ruiz pointed out directly.
Avery Graham reached for her neck, and Carolline Ruiz calmly told her, "Not on the left, on the right."
"!" Avery Graham was speechless. How had she not noticed it when she got up in the morning?
She did have a few marks on her body, and after dressing up, she even checked herself out from the left and right. She just forgot to lift her head and twist her neck, otherwise, she would have discovered them.
"It’s okay, it’s very normal. Bernard Taylor must have not done ’that’ for a long time, right? So it makes sense that last night ’that’ was intense," after finishing the puff, Carolline Ruiz picked up an Egg Tart, eating with gusto and speaking quite freely.
The ’that’ referred to before and the ’that’ mentioned later obviously have different meanings, but Avery Graham understood both. Okay, she had to admit that even someone like her, new to this kind of thing, had the potential to be a fujoshi.
In reality, every girl is more or less the same. In college, it’s not that single girls don’t want to fall in love, but they haven’t met the right person and don’t want to date just for the sake of it, just like her. However, they are usually very curious about the mysteries of the male body, which is why so many single girls or those who just got a boyfriend seek advice from more experienced women.
She also found herself in such embarrassing situations, but she didn’t ask directly, instead, she listened intently when others discussed it.
However, there’s a huge difference between listening and doing when it comes to these things.
Avery Graham couldn’t help but think, how could a pregnant woman be so unrestrained?
"Carolline, aren’t you worried that your little princess inside will turn out to be a little fujoshi too? Don’t let her go to kindergarten and start pulling down little boys’ pants," Avery Graham said somewhat moodily, taking a puff to eat. She hardly ever ate creamy cakes before, to maintain her figure.
At this point, she didn’t mind. Eating some cream might improve her mood a bit, especially since Carolline Ruiz, the mother-to-be, was provoking her.
"Just between us, I actually feel like it’s probably a boy in my belly, shh, don’t tell anyone yet. It’s just my intuition, I’m not too sure," what Carolline Ruiz actually worried about was that Bryan Hawkins would be let down upon finding out, as he was fully expecting a daughter.
Bryan Hawkins was crazy about the idea of having a daughter. He redecorated a room for their child with pink walls, and after work, he would buy loads of dolls, like Barbie dolls, and princess dresses. After dinner and a walk with her, he would spend half an hour to an hour in his long-awaited pink world before coming out.
As the fetus grew larger in her belly, many of its reactions were different from Axel’s, but Carolline Ruiz still felt that the little one inside was less like a princess and more like a prince.
It was just a mother’s intuition, and Carolline Ruiz couldn’t explain why.
She was truly worried that if the baby turned out to be a prince, Bryan Hawkins would be really disappointed. Since they could only be certain after the baby was born, Carolline Ruiz refrained from telling Bryan Hawkins.
She had Emily Hill organize Axel’s old clothes when she had spare time, to have them ready for the baby, of course. After all, wearing pink before the age of one didn’t matter much.
Carolline Ruiz didn’t mind what the child wore, but she knew Sophia Lawson did, often hearing her say that boys should be boys and girls should be girls from birth, and it was important to emphasize gender differences in their upbringing.
Boys should look like boys, devoid of feminine interests, and girls should have feminine demeanors, not be tomboys.
Thus, the Hawkins Family raised their two sons and one daughter exceptionally well.
"I think your intuition is very accurate, and I’m kind of looking forward to a few months from now. I wonder what sort of face President Hawkins will make when he discovers the princess he’s been expecting for so long suddenly turns out to be a prince," Avery Graham said with a laugh, fully convinced now that Carolline Ruiz was expecting a prince.
