Chapter 32: What did you mean by they’re living

Roman’s anger was evident as his body shook with rage.

He had started developing feelings for the girl, but the harsh reality was that she was a betrayer.

Nothing hurt him more than the thought of Julie’s deceit, and he couldn’t stand it.

Roman closed his eyes, attempting to calm down by taking deep breaths.

As he inhaled and exhaled, he slowly relaxed before getting up and walking to his proud chair behind the magnificent big table.

Meanwhile, Azazel was walking from one corner to the other, lost in thought.

He abruptly stopped, pondering what was happening.

"I should call him now, he won’t do wait, they seem to be in love so of course he will understand her," he thought.

"Don’t get in between married couples, they will solve it together," he said to himself and sat down on his couch, playing another game.

In the mansion, Julie couldn’t stop worrying about the picture she saw online.

"What should I do now," she said, worry evident on her face.

Suddenly, her eyes widened, and her brain went blank. "Oh my, what if he sees it," Julie said with wide eyes.

"No, why? What will he think of me, a whore?" she said, tears streaming down her face.

"I hope he didn’t see it," Julie said, her shoulders shaking as she cried her eyes out.

After minutes of crying, she told herself, "Be confident."

Rachel looked at the post with a sly smile. "Now we will see what you will do, my dearly younger sister Julie," she said.

A male voice interrupted her, "Why do you keep doing this? Isn’t she your sister?" Rachel sneered.

"She is indeed my sister, but she touched something she shouldn’t, which is mine."

Another male voice, deeper than the first, chimed in, "But you already got it right, then why not let her off the hook?"

Rachel replied, "She’s paying the price for touching it in the wrong place."

One of the men asked, "Do you like the girl or what Mason and Xander, that you seem to be taking her back, huh?" Rachel raised an eyebrow.

"No, she’s beautiful, why not?" the other one call xender interrupted. free.webn\ove(l)(.)c(o)m

Rachel smiled, "Then, since you like it, when I see her next time, I’ll make sure you spend a good time."

Azazel’s grandmother called out to him loudly from outside his room, "Azazel, Azazel!!!!" Azazel responded, "Yes, beautiful Lisa, I’m here!!!"

Lisa entered the room, sitting on the couch, and said, "You didn’t tell me anything when you came back yesterday."

Azazel blinked, looking at her with a "so what?" expression.

Lisa asked, her hands on her waist, "So, where is he living now?"

Azazel replied with a sleepy expression, slumping on the bed, "Hmm, they’re living in his mansion."

Lisa blinked and frowned, "What do you mean they’re living in his mansion?" Azazel muttered under his breath.

"Oops, what have I done?" He massaged his temples, thinking of what to say to avoid suspicion.

With a forced smile, Azazel said, "Yes, of course, the maid and the brother are living in the mansion, right?" Lisa nodded and left the room.

As her footsteps faded away, Azazel released a sigh of relief, "Phew, I’m lucky this time."

Though Roman hadn’t told him to keep his marriage a secret, Azazel knew his limits.

As the old saying goes, "Music turns out to be much sweeter when it comes directly from the musician’s mouth."

Julie sat on the ground in front of the table, surrounded by papers and pencils, lost in her sketching as she tried to pass the time.

The soft scratching sound of the pencil on paper was soothing, and she was completely absorbed in her art.

Suddenly, she heard the door open, and her head jerked up as she turned around.

Roman walked into the room, his face icy cold and expressionless.

Their eyes met, and Julie felt a jolt of electricity run through her body.

She couldn’t take the pressure of his piercing gaze and lowered her eyes, her heart racing.

"Be confident," she whispered to herself, trying to calm her nerves.

She managed to muster a small smile as she looked up at him, her eyes softening.

"You are back," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Roman’s eyes lingered on Julie as he thought to himself, "This thing, is she capable of doing such a thing?"

He couldn’t help but notice the contrast between her innocent appearance and the scandalous picture that had been circulating.

His gaze drifted over her features, and he thought, "Now that I think about it, they do look just alike."

The similarity was striking, and Roman’s mind was racing with questions.

Without saying a word, Roman turned and walked directly into the bathroom, the door closing behind him with a soft click.

The sound seemed to echo through the room, leaving Julie wondering what was going through his mind.

Julie’s heart sank as the door closed behind him. "He saw it," she thought to herself, her mind racing with panic.

"Oh my, what am I going to do right now? Should I start packing?" She hurriedly stood up, her hands trembling as she thought about the consequences.

But then, a voice in her head cautioned her, "He didn’t say anything."

Julie hesitated, her mind torn between fear and uncertainty.

"Yeah, but the way he acted right now, he seems to be pissed and not in good mood," she replied to herself, her face marred with worry.

"That mustn’t be because of you," the voice said again, making Julie’s heart skip a beat.

Breathing heavily, Julie went back to her place and sat down, her heart heavy with anxiety.

She gulped, waiting for him to come out and face whatever was coming her way.

As she waited, she couldn’t shake off the feeling that she was in trouble.

The bathroom door opened, and Roman walked out, his face still expressionless.

Julie didn’t dare to raise her face, her nervousness palpable.

She gulped down the saliva in her mouth, her eyes fixed on the papers in front of her.

Julie’s eyes didn’t know when Roman came to stand in front of her, but she felt the chill of his presence.

"Let see whether you could hold it since you are a seductress," he thought to himself, his eyes piercing as he looked at her.

Meanwhile, Julie felt the air thicken around her as Roman stood tall in front of her, his silence more unnerving than words.

She kept her eyes fixed on the papers, her heart pounding in her chest.

Suddenly, Julie felt the atmosphere shift, and she raised her eyes to meet Roman’s gaze.

Her eyes bulged as she took in his appearance, and her face turned as red as a tomato.

Roman stood in front of her, his chest bare and chiseled, showcasing his well-defined muscles.

The contours of his shoulders and arms were sculpted, a testament to his strength and athleticism.

Water droplets from his hair trickled down his neck, highlighting his prominent Adam’s apple as they rolled down his throat.

His skin glistened with a subtle sheen, accentuating the defined lines of his torso.

His abdomen was toned, with visible packs of muscles that rippled beneath his skin as he moved, a testament to his dedication to his physique.

A towel was slung low around his slim waist, accentuating his athletic build and drawing attention to the V-shaped lines that framed his hips.

The contrast between his rugged features and refined build made him a striking figure, exuding a sense of raw masculinity and confidence.

Seeing Julie lower her eyes, Roman raised a brow. "Can’t she look or is she shy now?" he thought to himself.

Before he could say something, Julie got ahead of him. "Can you please stop walking like that?" Julie said, her voice not above a whisper.

Roman raised a brow, shaking his head over what she said, but immediately he smirked.

Suddenly, Roman walked around the table, and Julie, who saw his feet moving, thought he was going to hang something.

To her surprise, Roman stopped in front of her a d scout, learning closer he grab her chin.

"Ouch," Julie made a painful sound as he grabbed her chin.

"What did you say? I didn’t hear it," Roman said, acting as if he hadn’t heard what she said earlier.

"Uhm," Julie moaned as he added force to her delicate, beautiful chin.

"I’m listening, what were you saying?" Roman asked again, bringing his face close to her parted lips.

It was almost cruel, given the circumstances, for him to ask her to talk while holding her chin like that.

"It hurts," Julie managed to say, her chin pressed close.

Julie’s face was being held with such force that she couldn’t help it; her eyes welled up with tears and were on the brink of falling.

"I didn’t hear you," Roman said and turned his head, but what greeted him was her popping lips that were now red.

His eyes narrowed at the sight of her inviting lips, and he gulped.

As he raised his eyes, Roman’s gaze softened at the sight of Julie’s eyes welling up with tears.

Immediately, Roman let go of her, and the tears streamed down like rivers.

Roman elegantly stood up and looked down at her. "You are too fragile," he said before walking into the closet room.

"With this kind of attitude, I’m sure he saw it; if not, he wouldn’t do this to me," Julie thought, her body shaking with fear as she thought about what would happen next.
