Chapter 31: So, she is a betrayer

Julie was stunned when she saw the closet room open and there, Roman walked out of the room.

In his black pajamas his hair slightly wet, disheveled, evedent that he bathed not long ago.

Seeing Julie, Roman didn’t care or say anything but act as if she is invisible and went to other side of the bed.

Before he lower himself on the bed Julie suddenly heard his voice it was icy cold as if the person she knows back then was some else.

"There is another blanket in the closet take it, it will be your bed from now on," Roman said his voice emotionless and slowly he lay down on the bed, his back facing her.

"Get up," his voice was cold with no emotions and Julie quickly get up from the bed and distance herself from it.

She stood there looking at him with a frowning face and questioning eyes.

’ What wrong with him,’ Julie wondered in her head looking at him.

Slowly she turn around and went in the closet to pick up the blanket.

Roman who wasn’t asleep all the time but was acting as if he is, turn around when he heard the door closed.

" I’m sorry." Roman slowly muttered.

In the dark dim lit room Roman’s black eyes sink in deeper and narrow his eyes thinking at how he treated her right now he knows she find it strange but he couldn’t help it.

After some minutes of looking drawer by drawer she finally find it.

Julie spray tha blanket on the floor it wasn’t too thick no thin but the weather is cold right now and she may catch cold.

After taking a bathed Julie didn’t say anything but quietly layed on her blanket floor bed and was quick to fall sleep.

That night she sleep peacefully on the floor without any distraction of any dream.

In the morning the maids cook breakfast and Julie and Roman eat the food silently with no one saying anything.

Roman was quick to stand up after taking two bite from his plate.

"Are you not hungry you usually eat much more than this what change today," Julie asked who couldn’t bear see him eating less and was thinking whether he was sick.

" Don’t interfere in my business," Roman said coldly his eyes burning into hers that julie regret asking.

Julie watch from the back as he exited the house living her alone her eyes welling up with sadness over what he said.

She is just worried yet this is what she get.

Julie’s appetite vanished after Roman’s harsh words. She slowly stood up and headed upstairs, her heart heavy with worry.

Meanwhile, Roman’s convoy, a sleek black Bentley, glided through the streets, drawing admiring glances from passersby.

Sitting in the car was non other than the mysterious CEO of R&J headquarters group.

"I’m sorry again," Roman muttered under his breath and his icy cold eyes flickered with sadness and he close his eyes.

Roman was sad over what he does to Julie, the sudden change of his attitude toward her, he knows and understands that the girl had already get used to how he treated her.

But he couldn’t let it be, he couldn’t let what happened years back to happen again, after all he is human and he don’t want his heart to be broken again or face another betrayal.

"Sir we arrived," Malone announced as the boss didn’t realize they arrived at the company yet.

The Clad of guards in black suit standing straight all make two line with space in between, at the entrance of the company.

Waiting for the master to decsend from the car.

As he keep his luxurious leader shoes that sparkles, Roman confidently get out of the car and walked proudly with his shoulders straight in the company.

As he pass everyone bowed in greetings, at the top floor all the secretaries stand up from there respectfully sit, and as Roman walked out of his elevator all them bowed.

"Good morning boss," " Good morning sir," all the secretaries said in one go and Roman didn’t care to nod but just walked in as if they don’t exist.

So arrogant yet soft hearted.

Roman sat eleganty on his sit and not a minute less his respectful secretary walked in " sir we have a meeting in 5 minutes," he quickly informed.

Roman just node at what he said and continue checking the file on his desk.

After Five minutes Roman stand up from his sit and on time his secretary open the door for him.

With him in the front and the secretary behind him they arrived at the meeting room with a complete twenty sit around the triangle table and everyone raised.

As he walked in everyone bowed slightly in greetings, yet the person they are greeting is absend minded over there greetings and he leasurely sit down on his confident proud sit.

" Sir," one of the directors touches him gently as Roman was absent mindedly over what they are busy discussing.

"Please continue," Roman said getting back to the present.

Julie who was left alone and didn’t know what to do to pass the time was scrolling over her account on instergram, when she come open a photo and her eyes bulge out.

Beside the photo it’s was written " What a slut who still everyone’s man, girls be careful when you see this girl you should be cautious, because she seduce men," it was written boldly beside the photo and the photo displayed was non other than her picture.

Julie’s eyes turn red over what she saw and her fist clinched " How dare you Rachel," Julie said looking at the picture and what’s written.

Julie click on the comments and her eyes well up with tears seeing what people comment over it.

" This is good, girls don’t let her snatch your man," someone comment.

" This slut need a beaten,"

"No, that beautiful face need to be ruin,"

one of then said and most of them abused her.

It was an anonymous account yet Julie can easily predict who was behind it and she close her eyes to calm herself down.

She knows there is no one who can do this to her if not Rachel, her body shock with anger the phone slipping from her hand and it falls on the couch.

Meanwhile on the other side, Azazel who has nothing to do at the time was scrolling over the internet and was quick to see the post on Julie.

"What are those people trying to do," Azazel said as he scrolled over the comments.

He was quick to make a call across to his brother.

Roman who was out of the 45 mini meeting and was on his way to his office when he received the call from his brother.

" Hello," Romans cold voice was heard through.

"Bro I will send you a photo open it right now," Azazel said from the other end and just as he finished talking before Roman could reply.

"Ding," a notification come in.

And he was quick to open it.

His face grimace and the secretary who was behind him could feel the chill emanating from him and he takes a step back.

While Roman who was reading what was written beside the photo feel an unexplicably anger rushed through him.

" Thanks for the photo," Roman said and immediately hung up.

Getting in his handsome office like him himself, Roman sat on the couch and was about to make a call to asked someone to delete the picture, when another call come in.

He knows she can’t be like this even if yes, the person in the picture indeed looks alike with Julie, he didn’t believe it one single bit.

It was the investigator who Roman asked to make further investigation.

"Sir the person name Julie Jenkins, is said to be a betrayer who whore around with men," the investigator concluded, and Roman’s blood boiled at the mention of the word betrayal and his eyes grow red at the instant.

" And," Roman said feeling that’s, that not the end of everything the investigator want to say.

"I found out that’s, that the main problem why she was kick out of her house and was disowned by her family," he continues

The investigator continued, "She was kicked out of her house and disowned by her family due to her promiscuous behavior and sending nude pictures to clients." Roman’s grip on the phone tightened.

Romans hand that was holding the phone earlier and was ready to call someone to remove the photo and deleted it, throw the phone on the wall and it shattered.

" Crak,crack,"

He was burning in and out, his eyes read as he breath heavily "So she is a betrayer," he muttered as he breath believing everything the investigator said.
