Chapter 548: Chapter 371: Follow the Vine and Catch the Big One, What’s Mine is Still Mine!
Sean Knight activated his Sky Eye and was immediately taken aback!
Douglas Cooper sure was lucky!
There were at least dozens of sea snakes in the cracks of these reefs!
The sight was dizzying!
If someone with intense fear of crowds was here, they would probably turn green with fright!
However, what caught Sean’s attention was that not only were there sea snakes in this reef area, but there were also remnants of a sunken ship.
The reefs were in the path of an ocean current, so items from any wreckage, guided here by the current, would be trapped by the reefs.
Scattered throughout this vast 200-300 square meter reef area were more than a dozen boxes, and some boxes that had disappeared completely, with their contents still stuck in the reef crevices.
Sean pointed his fish gun, indicating to Elijah Hastings that there were sea snakes in the vicinity, then slowly advanced step by step.
Elijah hastily followed, brandishing his own fish gun.
He then saw Sean aiming his gun at a crevice, almost sticking the fish arrow right in, and then pulling the trigger.
When he pulled the fish arrow back, a struggling sea snake was attached to it.
Elijah was no longer surprised by Sean’s miraculous abilities. He stepped forward, crushed the sea snake and collected it in his net pocket.
Then, Sean shot another sea snake with his fish gun, and Elijah continued to follow suit.
In this manner, one shooting and the other collecting, it didn’t take long for Elijah’s net pocket to be filled with over a dozen sea snakes.
He then saw Sean bend down and reach into a crevice in the rock.
Elijah jumped in fright and tried to pull Sean back, but noticed that Sean had already retracted his hand, holding something:
A silver ingot!
There really was something inside!
Sean handed the silver ingot to Elijah and then, brandishing his fish gun, moved forward.
He planned to clear all the sea snakes in this area while also collecting everything here.
Just then, a shadow flit above them. Sean looked up and found it was a shark!
Sean quickly nudged Elijah, prompting him to look up.
Upon seeing the meter-long shark, Elijah immediately knew that it must have been attracted by the blood of the sea snakes!
The shark circled nearby and then suddenly lunged at Elijah!
Elijah pulled out a knife from his leg, bent down, and stabbed it right into the belly of the shark!
In the style of Tang fighting a tiger!
The shark’s abdomen was immediately dissected, and its intestines and other contents spilled out!
The shark struggled wildly, swimming far away, and its blood polluted the surrounding area.
Many sea snakes smelled the blood and crawled out from the reef crevices, some rushing towards the shark while others retreated back into the crevices.
Sean signaled for Elijah to continue.
Elijah found this rather amusing. Killing sea snakes and collecting treasures at the same time.
Within a short time, they had collected gold and silver ingots, gold, gemstone jewelry, and other items.
Holding the heavy net pocket, Elijah knew that following his boss on this expedition, he was bound to hit a jackpot again.
By the time they had cleared all the sea snakes, Elijah’s and Sean’s net pockets were already full.
Yet, five boxes on the reef remained, simply because there was no room to accommodate them.
Sean indicated to Elijah that they should first bring up the net pockets and then come back down for the other items.
Elijah nodded, and the two floated up.
Then, they saw a massive and dark ship bottom beside the yacht!
Elijah immediately became alert, and so did Sean.
The two glanced at each other and then discreetly floated up from beneath the large ship.
Because they were close to the edge of the big ship, no one noticed them.
Then they saw a small boat tied to the side of the yacht and a group of people in marine police uniforms on the deck of the yacht, confronting Lincoln Harrington.
Why are the marine police here to inspect again?
Sean Knight found it strange. He instinctively turned his head, activated his Sky Eye, and scanned the boat.
Elijah whispered to Sean:
"Boss, we can’t go up, should we ditch these net pockets?"
The last time they were stopped by the marine police, it was because of an anonymous tip-off alleging that they were looting underwater relics.
Now the same situation was unfolding, and Elijah habitually treated these people as actual marine police.
He was thinking about how to avoid getting caught and getting fined.
After all, they just started salvaging, and there was nothing on the yacht yet. As long as they threw away the items in hand, with no evidence, the marine police couldn’t arrest them at will.
As Sean scanned the ship with his Sky Eye, he made some discoveries!
This ship, unlike the previous one, was different!
The markings on this ship were freshly painted!
And although it looked like a marine police boat from the outside, it was entirely different on the inside.
It was a chaotic mess inside, no different than a regular motor fishing boat.
Sean even found ice for freezing fish and half a load of fish in the ship cabin below!
In the miscellaneous storage room, there were even some fishing nets!
Except for the people on the deck of the yacht and those wearing marine police uniforms on the deck of the motorboat, the rest were in casual attire.
There was no police dormitory to speak of, let alone a clothing cabinet or spare police uniforms.
There wasn’t even a gun cabinet!
It was definitely fake, a knock-off!
At this point, Lincoln Harrington was already clashing with the men on the deck of the yacht.
Elijah had been watching closely. The other party was very arrogant and seemed to be deliberately provoking Lincoln, trying to infuriate him!
They couldn’t just stand by!
