Chapter 547: Chapter 370: This luck, it’s really good to the extreme!_2

At that moment, Sean Knight took out a big weapon!

A long-handled hand grenade!

He continued to switch his submachine gun with his left hand.

Now, the range of movement for both his hands was a bit bigger since during the chaotic shooting earlier, the tentacles closest to him had been destroyed first.

He did his best to shoot towards the octopus’s body, and with that, the massive octopus – its body was at least nearly one meter long – couldn’t handle it anymore!

Anger and fear filled its eyes, letting the intelligent creature know that now was not the time for resistance!

The octopus chose to retreat, planning to hide first and then find an opportunity for revenge!

One by one, the suckers on its body detached, and Sean instantly understood its intentions!

He had been waiting for this moment – he directly stuffed the hand grenade into the octopus’s mouth!

When the octopus’s tentacles wrapped around Sean earlier, its mouth was right against his stomach. Even through the diving suit, its sharp teeth had bitten his body all over.

Now that its mouth reluctantly let go, Sean simply stuffed the hand grenade into it!

Fearing it wouldn’t be enough, he added two more!

Then, as it was leaving, he conveniently pulled the pin!

A series of bubbles rose underwater. The octopus’s teeth were quite powerful – it even managed to bite off the wooden handle of the hand grenade!

If it weren’t for the hard iron shell, the hand grenade would have been its snack!

The octopus quickly headed for the ship’s cave, thinking that once it went inside, it wouldn’t come out!

Just as it reached the cave entrance, "Boom! Boom! Boom!" three muffled sounds rang out, and the octopus was blown into countless pieces!

Huge chunks of flesh and blood spread out near the sunken ship, and the shock wave even broke some nearby seaweed.

Sean finally let out a sigh of relief – that thing really was hard to deal with!

If it weren’t for his spatial realm, wouldn’t he have turned into the octopus’s poop today?

It’s really dangerous underwater; land is much better!

Then, Sean felt a strange taste in his mouth!

After inhaling twice, he realized that he had breathed in seawater!

The oxygen tube had been bitten off by the octopus!

Damn it!

What a troublesome creature!

Sean muttered under his breath and hurriedly swam towards the sunken ship.

He had to quickly collect the things inside.

Countless large and small fishes were fighting over the area with the chunks of flesh.

When Sean approached, a large fish even bared its teeth at him.

Sean didn’t show any mercy – he raised his hand and shot it.

The pain and itchiness caused by the seawater on the wounds was unbearable, but he couldn’t care less about that now.

He crawled into the ship’s cabin through the cave-like entrance.

In the neatly arranged boxes, there were gold ingots!

Counting and collecting the boxes one by one, he stashed away a total of fifty boxes of gold, as well as a large amount of silver, jewelry, and various precious antique objects.

This ship was big, and there was far more to it than just these items. There were also many supplies like food, but most of them had already rotted away by now.

Seeing that he had collected almost all the valuable items, Sean started to float upwards.

He couldn’t go up too quickly.

He still knew that much.

Once he reached the surface, Sean gasped for air – this trip had been truly exhilarating!

He looked around and swam towards the yacht’s location.

Upon climbing on the deck, Sean finally relaxed and lay down on the deck without wanting to move anymore.

"Boss, Douglas got bitten by a sea snake!"

The sound of Elijah’s voice came from afar.

"What happened?" Sean quickly got up and hurriedly walked inside, "How did he get bitten?"

"Douglas saw a coral reef and wanted to check if there was any sunken ship material inside. But a sea snake came out of a hole and bit him on the wrist!"

"You pulled him out?"

"Yes, he swam up after being bitten, and luckily I was nearby, so I dragged him out."

Entering the living room, he saw that Douglas was lying on the sofa while Lincoln Harrington was bandaging him.

"Did you give him the antivenom serum?" Sean Knight asked.

Since most of the time at sea they would be diving, the yacht was equipped with these items.

That’s why Sean Knight asked about it first.

"We did. And potassium permanganate injection solution." Lincoln Harrington said while bandaging, "But we don’t know if the antivenom is effective. They didn’t catch the snake when they came up, so we can’t be sure."

In Lincoln’s calm voice, there was a hint of anxiety, it was clear he was worried.

"Don’t worry, he’ll definitely be fine." Sean Knight said, "You guys are not ordinary people."

Douglas Cooper looked wan, but when he heard Sean Knight say so, he smiled:

"That’s right, Lincoln, I’ll definitely be fine. You know, I’m no ordinary person!"

At his words, Lincoln and Elijah Hastings both laughed.

"Boss, should we head back?" Elijah asked Sean Knight.

"Let’s go. We’re not far from Big Island anyway, let’s head to the port first." Sean Knight waved, "No need to rush, maybe when we get there, Douglas will already be fine."

Elijah immediately went to start the yacht and turned the boat towards the direction of Big Island.

It was only a few sea miles from here to Big Island if they ran at full speed, it would take 10-20 minutes to get there.

Lincoln hung up the saline drip for Douglas again, and told him:

"Alright, don’t think too much, and don’t move around. It might be just like the boss said, when we get to Big Island and this bottle of saline is empty, you’ll be fine."

"Okay, I trust you. And I trust the boss." Douglas Cooper closed his eyes.

"Huh? Boss, you encountered danger too?"

Lincoln noticed Sean Knight’s tattered diving suit and whispered.

"A big octopus, tried to eat me, but I killed it." Sean Knight wiped his chest, and he found, to his surprise, that the wound had almost healed.

Even the scabs were about to fall off!

So fast?

"As long as you’re fine." Lincoln took a close look and indeed there were no serious injuries, so he let go of his worries.

"I don’t know what’s going on, why are we so unlucky today, both of you encountered something."

Lincoln mumbled.

It’s not bad luck, I’ve got good luck here!

Sean secretly thought, after all, the gold on the ship must be worth tens of millions of dollars at least!

As for the rest, their value must not be lower than that!

And all it took was a few scabs that were about to fall off his body!

Maybe, the place where Douglas discovered the sea snake also has a sunken ship!

As expected, by the time they returned to Big Island, Douglas really had recovered.

Sean was still a little worried, so he let him go to the Command Headquarters and have the doctor check him to make sure he was really fine and then felt relieved.

When Lana Brown heard that the yacht had returned, she immediately rushed over from the survey site. After learning about Sean’s adventure, she was extremely worried.

Fortunately, seeing him in person, eased her mind.

"Don’t worry, your man has a big life," Sean hugged Lana Brown and said with a smile, "We’ll finish the job in another day or two. We’re packed with gadgets, so if there’s any danger, we’ll run."

Lana naturally knew about Sean’s combat power, and though she was still worried, she didn’t try to stop him from continuing the treasure hunt at sea.

After resting for most of the day, they continued the second day.

Sean originally intended for Douglas to stay on the island, but he insisted on going.

"It’s just a snakebite, I’ve crawled with a broken bone in the wild; this is nothing!"

Alright, you guys are amazing.

Sean didn’t try to stop him any further, especially since neither Elijah nor Lincoln tried to intervene.

In their opinion, this really wasn’t a big deal.

From now on, they would just have to be more careful when going underwater.

Next, they returned to the original sea territory.

According to Sean, those who narrowly survive disasters are bound to be lucky. Maybe Douglas’ snakebite location really does have treasures, so they parked the yacht in the original sea area, and Sean Knight and Elijah Hastings dived into that sea area.

He wanted to see if there really was a sunken ship down there.

And that sea snake, if it was still there, he planned to take revenge on behalf of Douglas, preferably catching the snake and then stewing it for him to eat.

Upon reaching the seafloor, Elijah led Sean for a while and then pointed at a reef ahead, gesturing there was the place where Douglas had been bitten.

At this point, a motorboat was heading towards the yacht from the Southeast Direction of Big Island!
