Chapter 1465: Chapter 702: Harboring Ulterior Motives_2

Sean Knight ignored these marine creatures and headed directly above the Lord’s Manor.

The underwater terrain here was peculiar, hence it was discovered and excavated by others before.

There was now a large hollow place, but at the bottom were huge blocks of rock, which evidently the previous diggers failed to remove.

After all, even with the buoyant force of the water, each of these massive rocks must weigh several tons, and the equipment on the work boat simply wasn’t sufficient to deal with them.

Sean Knight was sure this place was the Lord’s Manor mainly because, beneath the dust, the buildings spread over a large area, there was an abundance of man-made construction materials of high quality, and many valuable items were present.

Apart from the things in the Treasury, there were also numerous pieces of armor, firearms, high-end Furniture that had been crushed and spoiled, and several sizable Warehouses.

Although these items were currently buried under the rocks, they were concentrated in one area and of relatively higher quality, which made them far more valuable than those in the Market.

The objects that weighed down upon this place might have stumped the work boat, but not Sean Knight.

His Sky Eye was always open, observing what lay beneath the rocks, and after silently calculating the best approach, he descended and landed on the rock.

His feet on the sandy seafloor stirred up several creatures from the sand, kicking up a cloud of dust.

At this time, Sean Knight was not worried about being discovered. He bent down and began collecting layers of sand and rocks.

A hollow place appeared, and immediately seawater rushed in.

Sean Knight dived down and continued collecting, soon reaching the location of the first Warehouse.

Through the Sky Eye, the Warehouse in front of him was clearly the Lord’s Manor’s treasury—compared to the small golden coin boxes in the Merchant’s shops at the Market, the contents here were much more standardized.

In the damaged Iron Boxes, he could see golden coins covered with dust, which Sean Knight didn’t bother cleaning and directly collected them into the spatial realm.

Once again, a large swirl of seawater mixed with dust and soil rose before him, but Sean Knight had long since closed his eyes, relying entirely on his Sky Eye to watch.

Eleven boxes of golden coins, twenty-one boxes of Silver Coins, one box of gemstones.

Maritime trade truly made Money back then!

However, thinking about the Spices in the Western Realm that were prized above gold, Sean Knight was at ease.

In China, at most Pepper would be used to distribute wages, but Western People needed large quantities of Spices to cover up their body odors—

Why did Chinese People consider Western People uncultured barbarians? Wasn’t it because the majority of them had body odor, while only about 5 percent of Chinese did, quite the opposite?

Right next to the treasury was the Spice Warehouse, so Sean Knight put back the sand and rocks he had collected, and made his way back down to the seafloor.

The Spices in the Warehouse had long since turned into ash, and even if they hadn’t, he had no interest in them.

At this time, there was new activity on the work boat, and a Radar blared out an urgent alarm!

The staff member, who had been dozing next to the Radar, awoke with a start.

He immediately looked at the Radar but saw only a shadow on the display; the Radar was too outdated to make out what it was.

In reality, the Radar could only make out a large shadow on the seafloor, which was the silt and the school of fish that Sean Knight had disturbed while retrieving the items.

The alarm startled the Boat’s director, who quickly arrived in the Radar Room.

Watching the gradually diminishing red dots on the Radar, Curly Hair speculated,

"Could it be a school of fish that suddenly entered, and the Radar mistook it?"

By this time, Sean Knight had lifted the rocks and entered the Underground, starting to rummage through another Warehouse—this one was an armory, and to his surprise, there were some ancient firearms that were still in relatively good condition.

He thought they could be brought back, as they would make fine additions to a Collection or could be sold to interested buyers.

Entering the Underground, with more rocks and such blocking the way, the Radar naturally couldn’t detect him.

"Maybe," the mixed-race Boss considered the Radar for a moment longer and, seeing no further changes, said,

"We’re about on schedule; you go ahead with your team now!"

Curly Hair’s face lit up with excitement, and he nodded instantly,

"OK!"

He led two people in simple Diving Suits into the sea.

A drone was relaying this scene back to the monitoring equipment on the yacht.

"Captain Carter, somebody from the work boat has dived in!"

"Good, follow the plan. Let’s dive in and meet those people," Douglas Cooper said excitedly. "The ones on top, when we resurface, you launch the missile immediately!"

Sean Knight’s principles were well known to Elijah Hastings and the others.

Do no evil but do not spare those with malicious intent.

They were the enforcers, and their mere existence would make Ordinary people stay away.

But for those who dared covet their possessions, actions must be taken.

Therefore, attacking the work boat with missiles caused them no moral concern!

Underneath the rocks, Sean Knight found three boxes of firearms. Actually, there were several boxes of lead bullets and Gunpowder that had turned into ash— he decided not to touch them anymore.

There were actually a few other nearby Warehouses, but the contents there were largely unusable now, such as clothes, grains, and such.

Sean Knight returned to the Sea Surface, and by that time, the alarm device on the work boat had already been turned off by the staff member, who was worried about it disrupting his sleep if it erred again.

So, Sean Knight safely left the Radar search range of the work boat and then noticed with his Sky Eye that Curly Hair and his two companions, carrying Explosives, were diving towards the yacht.

Sean Knight was startled and immediately set out to pursue them, but then he relaxed.
