Chapter 1216: Chapter 618: It’s Really Hard to Say Who Will Win or Lose!_2

He saw Sean Knight and made a gesture indicating everything was going smoothly.

Each fixed sentry team was responsible for neutralization—hence the operation was synchronized.

Therefore, Lincoln Harrington’s appearance meant that the surrounding fixed sentries had been dealt with.

Sean Knight was very satisfied—having stumbled upon Elijah Hastings, then recruiting Lincoln Harrington and Douglas Cooper, and later centering around them, he enlisted retired soldiers as security personnel.

This step was indeed very correct.

These were undoubtedly elites!

The team member accompanying him saw Lincoln Harrington’s gesture and whispered to Sean Knight:

"Boss, shall we go in?"

"Yes," Sean Knight nodded.

Over there, Lincoln Harrington’s teammate had already started climbing the wall to deal with the iron wire mesh.

Sean Knight surmised that at least seven or eight teams were handling the iron wire mesh around the perimeter of the Manor simultaneously.

Inside, it was still pitch dark, but the advancing team members were wearing night vision devices, giving them a massive advantage.

Once the iron wire mesh was dealt with, they each entered the Manor and saw the patrol team members circling the Villa—it seemed, in their eyes, the Villa was the most crucial part.

Team members quickly approached the swimming pool behind the Villa, using the various bushes, statues, and big trees in the Manor for concealment.

Sky Eye revealed there were four groups of patrol personnel moving around, five people in each group.

Watching Elijah Hastings’s team approach one group of patrollers, Sean Knight said to his teammates:

"Let’s go, we’ll take out one group as well."

The team members were eager to try.

Although their primary mission was to protect Sean Knight, the warrior’s nature within them longed to be part of this kind of action.

Sean Knight understood the team members’ thoughts, and since he didn’t consider himself a liability, he immediately moved towards the nearest group of patrolling soldiers.

Elijah Hastings’s team had planned to allocate some people to distract this group of patrolling soldiers, but seeing that Sean Knight was already on his way, they no longer paid attention and focused entirely on subduing their own targets.

The team members reached the bushes on the side of the patrolling soldiers’ route first.

As the soldiers just passed, several team members suddenly sprang into action, each charging at a target, quickly overpowering the patrolling soldiers to the ground!

Rough!

Direct!

Effective!

The team members swiftly covered the soldiers’ mouths with their hands and pressed them down with the intent to knock them out.

The other patrol groups were almost simultaneously subdued by the team.

Only one team member made a half cry before sounds ceased.

That was Douglas Cooper’s group.

Half a minute later, Douglas Cooper’s somewhat exasperated voice came through the headset:

"My bad, during the action, a soldier happened to be bending down to tie his shoelaces, and he half avoided the attack..."

"Change of plan, immediately tie up the patrol soldiers and put them aside, make sure they can’t make any noise, then quickly move to the Villa and get the soldiers inside under control!"

Elijah Hastings’s voice rang in the headset, and the others immediately got moving.

Lights went on in the Villa, probably because they heard some noise over here.

By the time the team members reached the Villa, two soldiers had already come out from inside, likely to check out the recent shouting.

Shouts came from the mouths of those two soldiers, calling for their patrolling comrades.

However, there was no response.

Glancing at each other, both felt something was amiss.

They took their guns off their backs into their hands, prepared to go check.

Then they heard two soft thuds, and tranquilizer darts hit them.

Both felt a sudden itch; one reached to touch the spot while the other was about to shoot.

However, the highly effective tranquilizer was more than they could withstand, and before completing their actions, they fell to the ground, soon dragged aside by the advancing team members.

The tranquilizer, strong enough to knock out an elephant, would keep them asleep all night.

After bringing down these two soldiers, the other team members immediately launched an indiscriminate "assault" on the Villa—some entered through the door, others through the windows, and more used various corners and air conditioners to get onto the rooftop, planning to attack from above.

Each floor of the Villa had people, and any noise could potentially leak news of the assault.

So speed was essential!

Although the jammer could block signals, if these soldiers realized this and started firing outside, it could attract the internal guard force of the entire city!

All team members were well aware of this.

Sean Knight activated his Sky Eye with a bit of nervousness, watching for any commotion inside the Villa.

On the third floor, team members were already facing the soldiers head-on.

Due to the suddenness of the attack, the soldiers’ resistance was very passive; the noise of the struggle could even be heard outside the Villa.

Fortunately, the feared gunfire did not break out as Sean Knight had worried.

After the soldiers inside were subdued, the team members tied them up and administered tranquilizers.

This would facilitate their withdrawal and was non-lethal as well.

Sean Knight then headed towards the swimming pool behind the Villa.

His pace wasn’t fast, so by the time he arrived at the swimming pool, some team members were already doing preliminary clearing work there.

Every moment of the night was precious, so these team members wasted no time.

Although they had dealt with all the soldiers, marking a stage of victory, their faces showed bits of joy, but more so a focus on preparing for the next phase of the work.
