Chapter 1215: 618 Chapter Who wins and who loses is really hard to say!

After settling the tribal warriors, Sean Knight called Elijah Hastings and his team over.

If the opponents could track down the tribal warriors, their current location might not be safe anymore.

There wasn’t much time left for them.

"I plan to clean out that swimming pool tonight. It should contain the items I need."

"What if it doesn’t?" Lincoln Harrington interjected, "Do we need a backup plan?"

"No need. Regardless of whether it’s there or not, I’ve already got my harvest. If it is there, great, we’ll just take it with us. If not, at least we’ve searched the whole manor and it means that the item and I are not meant to be. We won’t force it."

Elijah and his team understood what Sean meant by "not meant to be."

That is to say, even if they couldn’t get it this time, they would get it eventually.

Since that was the boss’s mindset, they relaxed a bit.

"Then let’s go find some tools first. The stuff clogging that swimming pool is not clean," Douglas Cooper said after having inquired about the condition of the pool, "If the tools aren’t up to par, we might not finish clearing it in one night."

As for the guards inside the manor, they made no mention of them—these elite tiers considered those soldiers quite inferior, despite their prestigious reputation on the global battlefield. To be frank, for a small team like theirs in a confined area, they really looked down on them.

Too crude.

The three men then went out to search for tools.

When they left, Sean Knight also took a stroll outside.

When he came back, he was carrying a backpack filled with some tools—naturally, these weren’t bought from the market. In an unfamiliar place, it wasn’t easy to find the right tools.

When Sean and the others returned to the hotel, several groups of inspectors had arrived. Fortunately, they had the appropriate documents—given Sean’s status, it wasn’t too difficult to arrange.

Therefore, there were no slip-ups during the inspection.

By night, Lincoln Harrington’s expression became solemn as he returned from outside.

"Boss, the forces both inside and outside the manor have been strengthened. Our people watching the place noted several fixed sentries nearby, secret sentries at that. Looks like close to a platoon of soldiers has gone in as well."

After pondering, Sean Knight replied:

"In that case, we’ll start clearing them from the outside. Since we plan to finish this operation and head back, let’s not beat around the bush. Let’s take out the fixed sentries one by one from the outside. Knocking them out for the night shouldn’t be an issue, right?"

Elijah and the others were surprised by Sean’s decisiveness this time; it was unexpected.

But they soon laughed. Now that the boss had decided, what followed would be easier.

"Big Fly, mark the secret sentries’ spots. Let’s take care of them," Douglas said with zeal, "Shall we have a competition to see who’s faster and won’t alarm those bugs?"

"Compete my ass! Be careful," Elijah scolded. "Dividing the areas and the scope of tasks is indeed necessary. We’d better also check whether they have a routine for timed check-ins; otherwise, once the outside is dealt with, if the inside can’t communicate, the opponents will definitely sense something’s off, and then we’ll be in trouble."

"Then let’s make it quick. Once the outside is dealt with, we’ll move fast and take care of the patrolling guards and those inside the building," Douglas said nonchalantly. "Look at Russia and Ukraine fighting now, no high-tech stuff, let alone here."

Though Douglas spoke carelessly, he was meticulous when it came to making the actual plan.

Sean simply listened in silence. The three in front of him were experts in this area, so he chose not to interject.

Soon after the plan was confirmed, they proceeded to relocate. Since the area was no longer safe, they’d just switch places.

Following Lincoln’s suggestion, they decided to rest in the cars this time. After all, Kabul’s Main Streets were full of pickup trucks, and nobody really checked them.

Inside the car, the team members not only had no complaints, but they were also quite excited.

Night fell, and the cars kept in touch via headsets, exchanging brief commands, with hardly any other sounds.

They split into four groups around one kilometer away from the manor.

Sean Knight had his own group in a single car, protected by three team members. Elijah and the others led their groups, each subtly responsible for one direction.

The agreed time was past midnight. At that time, the three groups would act simultaneously, eliminating the fixed sentries on the periphery and then advancing into the manor. Even the cleaning positions for the patrolling soldiers inside the manor had been fixed.

In terms of their opponents’ strength and communicative methods, Sean and his team had not underestimated them. A high-power signal jammer was prepared to ensure that even if something slipped through, no signals would get out.

As the time arrived, Sean heard Elijah’s steady voice in his headset:

"Begin the operation."

He then heard the sounds of team members getting out of the car and giving soft commands.

Sean stepped out of the car as well and activated Sky Eye, moving forward stealthily.

His team members immediately spread out, subtly encircling Sean for protection. Now armed, the team members moved swiftly despite wearing robes, which seemed to hardly affect their quick movements.

Sean’s pace was not fast, and by the time he reached the manor wall, he noticed Lincoln’s group had already emerged from the position of a fixed sentry.
