Chapter 467: Chapter 468: Rebellion, Rebellion!

Song Xiaodong squinted at Zhao Chuo and said indifferently, "Do you even know what kind of person you are?"

Zhao Chuo, with a fierce smile, said, "Nonsense, I’m a cop. I don’t care who you are. Once you’re here, even if you have money and power, I can do whatever I want with you. Try touching me again and see what happens."

"You still know you’re a cop, huh? Then when you were studying at the police academy, didn’t you know what the integrity of a cop is?"

"Quit your damn nonsense, I don’t need you to lecture me on politics." Zhao Chuo weighed the rubber club in his hand and said, "Do you know what the feature of hitting someone with this rubber club is?"

Song Xiaodong replied indifferently, "I know, if you add a pad, even if you hit someone, the injuries won’t show."

"You know quite a lot." The smile on Zhao Chuo’s face deepened, but suddenly it became stern, and he said, "But you must have never experienced this pain before."

"Right, I have never experienced it."

"Then today I will let you taste what it feels like."

"Really? Then go ahead and try," Song Xiaodong said calmly, looking at Zhao Chuo.

Song Xiaodong’s composed expression greatly irritated Zhao Chuo. It was as if he was belittling him. Since becoming a cop, he had never been belittled like this. His face darkened, and he gritted his teeth, "Then go to hell!" As he said this, he raised the rubber club high and smashed it towards Song Xiaodong’s shoulder.

Song Xiaodong, handcuffed to a chair, seemed to have no possibility of dodging, but he didn’t even think to dodge; instead, his foot shot out, striking Zhao Chuo’s shin.

Zhao Chuo’s shin felt like it was hit by an iron rod, uncontrollably flinging back as he stumbled and collapsed to the ground with a thud.

"Ah!" In midair, Zhao Chuo screamed, but after hitting the ground, he stared at Song Xiaodong, dumbfounded.

Xiao Liu was also stunned. This was at the Public Security Bureau, and yet someone dared to attack a cop. Was this a death wish?

"F*ck, you really assaulted an officer! Now you’re definitely dead." Zhao Chuo suddenly sprang up and shouted, "I can kill you right now and not be responsible for it!"

Amid his frenzied shouts, he swung the rubber club at Song Xiaodong once more. This time he was smarter and did not get as close. Song Xiaodong was sitting there, and even if he raised his leg, limited by the space, he would definitely not reach him.

As his rubber club was about to strike Song Xiaodong’s head, Zhao Chuo’s face displayed a vicious smirk.

However, his grin was cut short. Song Xiaodong, whose hands were clearly shackled, somehow broke free at that moment, raising his hand to seize the other end of the rubber club.

Zhao Chuo pulled hard, trying to regain control of the rubber club. He tried twice without success, then grabbed the club with both hands and pulled with all his strength.

But Song Xiaodong’s hand suddenly relaxed, causing all of Zhao Chuo’s force to misfire. The rubber club swung back, striking him in the chest and sending him stumbling backwards, nearly winded.

Song Xiaodong then casually unfastened the restraining bar on the chair, as if it had never been locked, and stood up. He looked at Zhao Chuo and slowly said, "As a police officer, you didn’t ask a single question, didn’t explain why you brought me here, didn’t ask anything about my identity, and your first thought was to hit me. Do you think you deserve to be a cop?"

Feeling suffocated, Zhao Chuo opened his mouth, the words stuck, unable to speak, his face turning beet red.

Xiao Liu snapped back to reality and hurriedly shouted, "Sit down! Sit down! Who told you to stand up?"

Song Xiaodong sneered and said, "Why should I listen to you?"

"Nonsense, this is the Public Security Bureau, behave yourself," Xiao Liu glared and barked.

"Public Security Bureau? It depends on what kind of cops are here. You guys? You don’t qualify!"

With those last words, Song Xiaodong suddenly yelled fiercely, like a thunderclap bursting from the blue, forcing Zhao Chuo and Xiao Liu to involuntarily step back.

Zhao Chuo was startled, but he caught his breath and immediately glared back, shouting, "Are you going to sit down or not? If not, I’ll kill you!"

"What kind of policeman are you, threatening to kill me right off the bat? Are you a cop, or are you mafia?" Song Xiaodong sneered again.

Zhao Chuo’s face darkened as he gritted his teeth and said, "Fine, it seems you won’t cry until you see the coffin. Xiao Liu, let’s kill him!"

Xiao Liu didn’t hesitate either, grabbing a rubber baton, and together, from left and right, they started to beat Song Xiaodong with the batons.

Song Xiaodong grew increasingly angry. These two cops were a disgrace to the uniform. A chill flashed in his eyes. With a swift grab, he had already seized their batons, and with a pull, the two men involuntarily rushed toward him.

Song Xiaodong’s right knee jabbed up sharply, striking both men in the lower abdomen.

Zhao Chuo and Xiao Liu both grunted, their breath caught in their throats, their bodies suddenly weakened.

Song Xiaodong effortlessly snatched the batons from their hands and, without a word, started striking them relentlessly, each blow as harsh as the last, the batons raining down like droplets.

Beaten to the ground, the two tried to scream, but could only emit strange noises from their throats, unable to call out. They attempted to run, but Song Xiaodong’s baton moved as if it had eyes, keeping them corralled in front of him, leaving no chance to escape.

This was excruciating for the two men, not just physically but also emotionally. In this place, weren’t they supposed to be the ones doing the beating? How had they become the beaten? It was a complete reversal.

Outside the door, the two veteran policemen, hearing the sounds of the rubber batons striking flesh, frowned.

"I say these guys are hitting too hard. Don’t let them cause any serious damage, maybe we should go check on them."

"No need to bother. That guy offended someone, it’s his own bad luck. He was bold enough to extort Su Yawei for eight hundred thousand. Just for this extortion charge alone, he deserves what he’s getting."

"Alas, but this is just what Su Yawei claims. Who actually knows the truth?"

"No matter what, the case has to be closed like this. Who can argue otherwise?"

"Alas... However, I feel that if that guy dared to extort Su Yawei, he might not be someone small. We better not get involved in this mess!"

These two old policemen were indeed crafty veterans, but they still didn’t know that the ones being beaten inside were the policemen. If they knew, it’s hard to say what they would think.
