Although Lexus hadn’t mastered his ear’s power yet, he was trying his best. He slowly walked towards the stairs with his new sword at his waist, sheathed.

As Lexus approached the stairs, a guard from the upper floor was descending, using the same staircase.

Lexus didn’t panic. He pulled out his sword slowly, and as soon as the guard saw Lexus, his eyes went wide with shock, and he wanted to yell. His throat was slit.

He clutched his throat in a hope to stop the bleeding, but it was all hopeless. He died while his eyes were still open.

Lexus, shaking his head, went downstairs. On the 2nd floor, there were about nine guards, but Lexus didn’t need to stop there because there was only one staircase in this part of the fortress, and he had killed the staircase guard just a second ago.

Lexus went to the ground floor directly. This floor didn’t have any guards. Lexus was very surprised to learn that and was very shocked to know why.

There was only one room on the ground floor, and there were some weird noises coming out of it. Lexus frowned deeply.

Lexus reached the underground hall in some minutes. He actually ran here because his speed in the air was not that good.

Upon reaching the hall, Lexus noticed there was no one, so he sat on the table Ezio cleaned earlier and waited.

Lexus was contemplating while waiting for the stagecoach to arrive.

Soon, dawn broke. The heavy rain was retreating, but the sun was not up yet. The morning light made Lexus yawn.
