"Are you, are you all right?" Shao He suppressed the strange sensation inside her and asked with feigned composure.

"I’m fine." Pei Huaian leaned closer to her ear and whispered, his warm breath tickling her sensitive earlobe.

Shao He’s body trembled, her originally pale cheeks blush slightly. She bit her lip and glared at him, chiding, "If you’re all right, then let’s get going."

"I can’t be blamed for this; you’re the one who threw yourself into my arms!" Pei Huaian’s deep and magnetic voice sounded in her ear, making Shao He go weak all over.

"Stop talking nonsense; I was clearly pushed by someone!" Shao He forcefully pushed away his arms wrapped around her waist and turned to walk toward the Sky Fragrant Tea House.

Seeing her reaction, Pei Huaian laughed and followed her, reaching out to grasp her wrist and interlocking their fingers.

Shao He turned her head and gave him a fierce glare. Seeing him still smiling, she turned her head away in both shame and annoyance.

The interior of the tea house was lavishly decorated, each seat carved with dragons and painted with phoenixes, the epitome of luxury.

"What would the two guests like to have?" The waiter came up to greet them and looked the pair over, his eyes gleaming brightly.

Shao He, unaccustomed to being stared at by strangers, took a step back, distancing herself from the waiter.

Pei Huaian wrapped an arm around her slender waist, drawing her behind him, and gave the waiter a casual glance: "Bring us a pot of Lvqi Chun Tea."

"Right away!" The waiter responded and quickly turned to bustle into the kitchen.

Shao He looked around with curiosity in her eyes and whispered, "Why are there so many customers here?"

Pei Huaian replied softly, "Hmm, today just happens to be a rest day, so there are more patrons in the tea house at this time."

Shao He nodded thoughtfully.

Pei Huaian pulled her to a seat and seeing her eyes wandering inquisitively, he asked, "What are you looking at?"

Shao He withdrew her gaze and shook her head, indicating she wasn’t looking at anything.

However, Pei Huaian noticed her slightly red ears and couldn’t help but narrow his eyes and smile, not exposing her.

The tea was served, and the waiter poured it attentively for them before leaving.

Pei Huaian picked up his tea cup and took a gentle sip of the crisp and sweet tea, praising, "Try the tea here at the Sky Fragrant Tea House and see how it is."

Shao He looked at the clear, green tea in front of her and couldn’t help but lick her parched lips. She picked up the tea cup and took a sip.

After savoring it for a while and swallowing, she spoke calmly, "It has an excellent taste."

Hearing her words of praise, Pei Huaian smiled contentedly, his eyes brimming with tender indulgence.

At that moment, the people below began to buzz with discussion.

Unable to resist, Shao He leaned on the railing above, listening to the debate below.
