Reborn As Cursed Alpha's Mate -
Chapter 164: The Goddess Awakens
Chapter 164: The Goddess Awakens
The experience at ’The Red House’ left Cassandra incapacitated. The vampires could be so cruel, they could inflict so much pain on others; she had now witnessed that first-hand, and it left her devastated.
She wasn’t sure how much she could take if Kanyon raped her. She didn’t have much experience with sex but that was something she believed to be sacred between lovers.
Kanyon was not her lover, he was a monster who was ripping apart her dignity shred by shred.
The countless wounds on her body were a testament to his evil torturous ways.
Today her heart was heavier than usual, as if an apocalypse was about to hit her.
The moment Kanyon set foot into the gloomy room, the one which was like a grave for her, where she had been buried alive and left feeble and exposed. The fear descended on her like a cold, bone-chilling mist which had her body in an unbreakable grip.
Cassandra tried to move away, but his powers shot out, moving like the tentacles of a squid, an ugly blood-sucking squid.
"Stop squirming." Lust dripped from his voice as he flipped his straight hair away from his forehead and pulled her closer.
The royal black and red cloak he adorned slipped from his shoulders as he let it drop. Leaving himself in the loose white chemise and breeches.
"Don’t touch me," Cassandra yelled out, her belly swirling with anger and pure hatred for this vampire.
Kanyon’s hands reached behind and he pulled off his chemise in a swift and carefree manner, not at all stumped by Cassandra’s pleas.
His body was a work of art, not as muscular as Siroos’s but leaner and corded to perfection with hardened muscles. A birthmark which seemed like a pit of raging fire adorned the side of his stomach.
"Why not, I have been so patient with you. It’s time I own you the way that filthy shifter couldn’t. I promise to be rough." His misty tendrils wrapped around her dainty ankles and savagely pushed her legs apart, making her scream out.
The blood roared in her ears turning into a river of pain that rushed through her body, preparing her for the inevitable.
Kanyon dropped his breeches, letting his throbbing cock spring free and stand to attention. Cassandra cringed at the sight of him. Disgust embroiled inside her, making a horrible taste rise inside her mouth as if she had swallowed something rotten.
"Do you like it? Broken Butterfly? It can give you a lot of pleasure if you cooperate or it can become your worst nightmare. The choice is yours," he exhaled with an ugly smile that made the corners of his lips twitch up like a devil in disguise.
The anxiousness and vulnerability created this ball of ferocity inside the pit of her stomach.
Before he could shred the silky gown she wore which barely covered her thighs.
Something awakened inside Cassandra, like a phoenix being reborn. She felt this sudden surge of energy running through her veins, the images of a life she must have lived before began to erupt inside her brain.
Images of her being in the arms of Siroos with much longer hair than the ones he had now. The images of that fateful day when they were cursed when her lover was burnt alive in front of her eyes.
The horror, the screams, the stench of his burnt skin, everything simmered inside her as if she were a cauldron of old memories which had been set on fire.
And then she remembered everything, every memory that had been snatched up from her and locked away.
Every reminisce of the moment she and Siroos had spent together in their previous life came whirling back and shattered her like a fragile porcelain doll.
And then the face of the man who had burnt Siroos as Kael flashed clear like a sunny day in front of her.
The face of Kanyon as Kalthian: the god of fire. He was her betrothed in the previous life. The one who had set Kael on fire and burnt him right in front of her eyes at the command of her father, Arkiam.
Her eyes blazed in a blinding rush of emotions. A heart-wrenching scream she let out as her powers surged underneath her hands and she blasted Kanyon off of her.
Dazed, he flew backwards and collided with the wall opposite.
~Thud~
The wall dented, cracks appeared like webs of a spider and the whole room shook as if under the effect of an earthquake.
"YOU! You are the one responsible. I remember now," Cassandra blazed, effortlessly removing the tendrils holding her. They screeched and retreated burning from inside as if filled with a fire.
She stood up from the wretched bed, Kanyon kept her tied to. Picking up the iron shackle, she held it in her hand and wrapped the chain around her wrist.
Her skin seemed to have become super charged, the senses heightened, the magic seemed to pulse inside her, casting a protective shield all around her as she slowly walked where a stunned Kanyon lay.
"Ho–w did you do that?" He sputtered out blood as he spoke.
Cassandra hovered over him, bringing her foot forward she kicked him straight in the face. Her toe connected with his nose and she pressed her foot down on his face as brought her fist forward with the iron shackle and punched him with as much force as she could muster.
The crunching sound of his nose breaking was like soothing music to her ear. He grunted in pain and tried to attack her with his tentacles again but the shield around Cassandra glowed even brighter and propelled his powers back.
She repeated the process of hitting him again and again, venting out all her rage. Her eyes blazed with an unearthly rage.
Kanyon tried to fight back again but there was this otherworldly energy surrounding her which prevented him from touching her skin, no matter how much he tried.
"You hurt my mate, I am going to kill you," Cassandra’s screams of rage echoed in that gloomy room. Kanyon’s face was reduced to a bloody mess but being a vampire he would heal again.
And then she felt her mate’s presence. He was near. Some of that burning fury dissipated as she stopped pounding Kanyon but shifted her foot to his chest. A boulder seemed to have been placed on him. Even with super speed, he couldn’t move.
A malicious smile crept up on her face. Her hands came together and she could sense this uncontrollable surge within her.
It propelled outwards and a ball of vibrating orangish energy began to form in her hands. Kanyon watched her stunned.
"W–what are you?" He stammered as she wickedly smiled and hurled the ball towards his exposed cock.
"Your worst nightmare now," Cassandra triumphantly said.
It collided and the most excruciating screams erupted from Kanyon’s mouth. His hands went to his burning crotch as he doubled over.
"Arghhhh!"
She stepped back and satisfactorily watched his manhood burn and drizzle away.
"You will never rape anyone, I have ensured that." She spat at the man on the ground, showing how much he disgusted her.
