The unloading and handover process was incredibly fast. The tens of thousands of bustling Earth City residents in their spacesuits even helped move the first batch of traded goods unloaded from Earth City onto the other ships. This sight finally relieved some of the cargo ship members’ anxiety.

The Daville settlement had chosen to ship their goods in separate lots. After all, this was the first encounter for both parties. Earth City only allowed one cargo ship from Daville at a time. If any other ship or battleship approached, they would flee! And the deal would naturally fall apart.

The same held true for Daville. They couldn’t possibly trust Earth City entirely. Even though Earth City had been extremely careful with their inspections, Daville still had three battleships patrolling at a distance. If anything alarmed their trading starship, they would swiftly move in!

Fortunately, nothing unexpected happened. Earth City naturally wanted to carry out the trade smoothly. Daville didn’t want to offend a Star Space Level influence either, even if this influence didn’t seem adept at the cosmos warfare. As an influential power that had existed for a long time, they couldn’t afford to take such risks! After all, there was no loss in this deal for Daville either.

The trade went smoothly, one ship after another. As if under previous agreement, Daville delivered the agreed goods to the Earth City Fleet.

"Alright, this is the last bit of the goods. You should now hand over those two ships we discussed, right?"

The voice of Jing LAF was heard over the communicator as soon as the final bundle of goods was accepted by the busy residents of Earth City. The cargo ship then slowly receded backward.

"We are all set on our end. Please take them." This was Daphne on behalf of Earth City handling the handover.

With no other option, although Earth City had to let go of two more ships, causing the population to become even denser, it was something that simply had to be done.

Watching as the two empty ships were quickly taken away by the personnel Jing LAF had dispatched, Earth City ducked into immediate action and fired up its engines!

The Earth City Fleet immediately launched, leaving behind a trail of exhaust flames as it sped towards the distance, now with just eleven ships remaining.

The trade ship seemed stationary in the darkness for quite a while before it disappeared into the distance, followed by the three battleships that were ready for battle at a moment’s notice. It seemed they wouldn’t be needing to fight after all!
