Sera got even more nervous because of Andrew and Ferdinand’s exchange.

She was scared of Ferdinand since in addition to his negative reputation, he was so huge.

"Please be rest assured. My husband is kind and gentle," Arabella told Sera.

If she was too stiff while dancing due to fear of Ferdinand, she might trip.

It would be dangerous since Sera was pregnant.

The other royals who heard Arabella’s words almost dropped the glasses they were drinking wine from.

Some even choked and coughed repeatedly.

"Please don’t mind them. He is usually misunderstood," Arabella added with a light chuckle.

Though his face remained expressionless, the tips of Ferdinand’s ears reddened slightly because of Arabella’s words.

[No one ever said I’m kind and gentle.

Sometimes I wonder where she gets the compliments she has for me.] Ferdinand thought.

He was sure he wasn’t any of the two, but it was still nice to hear that his beloved wife thought of him that way.

Sera and Andrew noticed and they smiled at each other in understanding.

The four of them then began to dance.

Arabella with Andrew and Ferdinand with Sera.

Everyone was surprised that the song ended with the four of them just dancing.

They thought there would be conflict anytime soon. But there was none.

They returned to their respective partners in the next song and danced again before parting peacefully as the song ended.

Everyone finally realized that what happened in the flower garden was simply a misunderstanding but it was already resolved.

[Hmm. I used to hate just the fact that she may be thinking about him.

But now, I don’t get alarmed by him anymore even when I see them together.

I even let them dance.

Is it because I could tell he truly does like his wife now and Arabella didn’t get jealous about it in the least bit?]

Even Ferdinand himself was surprised by his actions.

’I see. So Ferdinand doesn’t feel the alarm bells ringing when it’s Andrew since he doesn’t like me anymore.

But he gets alarmed by Icarus since he knows Icarus still had some feelings for me.’

Arabella observed her husband.

King Neville and older kings that could be Arabella’s father or grandfather in terms of age danced with her and it was fine with Ferdinand as well.

He even danced with their queens too.

When it was the younger kings, Ferdinand was back to giving glares.

Still, he allowed Arabella to dance with them.

But when it was Icarus, Ferdinand instantly held both of Arabella’s hands and told Icarus she was already tired so she won’t be dancing anymore.

Arabella apologized to Icarus and didn’t dance with him since he seems to be Ferdinand’s new trigger.

Arabella understood too why her husband was on alert when it was Icarus.

Perhaps another reason was Ferdinand’s strong instincts telling him to do so.

After all, in the past life, Arabella did have a relationship with Icarus.

And when she didn’t know the truth yet, she even once thought of being with Icarus in this life.

The first few days of the Assembly went by in a flash with them busy every single day having meetings and dealing with other royals and nobles from the various countries in Eliora.

Every time Arabella encountered Icarus and spoke with him with the usual pleasantries and greetings, Ferdinand was so much more possessive at night.

He showered Arabella with lots of kisses and kept telling her she was his.

Their intimate time got longer too even when they were busy.

The extent of Ferdinand’s wariness of Icarus made her wonder if he had memories of the past too.

But every time she looked into Ferdinand’s eyes to check, she didn’t see him thinking about it.

Ferdinand simply hated seeing her speaking with Icarus or being near him.

Arabella then avoided Icarus as much as she could.

On the other hand, since Arabella’s supposed message was misunderstood and her plan backfired, most of the princesses thought Ferdinand had a woman on the side.

Thus, they tried to flirt with him every chance they got.

But Ferdinand ignored all their attempts.

His eyes were always on Arabella so he barely even noticed what the princesses were trying to do.

Ferdinand glared at those who tried to get too close and scared them off.

’Humph.

That’s what you get.

He’s mine,’ Arabella thought and she blinked repeatedly when she realized what she just said in her mind.

’Since when did I get this possessive?

Is Ferdinand rubbing off on me?’

She just pushed it to the back of her mind though.

But then, on the tenth day of the Assembly, Arabella saw something she didn’t like.

Her tea party with some Queens she planned to work with had just ended so she was supposed to go back to their accommodation.

But then, as she was walking to the area in the Grand Palace where her carriage was, she saw Ferdinand and Carmella.

Carmella’s arms were looped around Ferdinand’s arm.

’She’s literally hugging my husband’s arm!’ Arabella frowned.

Why was Ferdinand not pushing Carmella away or glaring at her just as he did with the other princesses?!

Arabella bit her lip when she noticed that Carmella’s huge breasts were pressing against Ferdinand’s arm.

’Is that it?!

Does he like ladies with that kind of bust?’

Arabella glared at her husband.

He seemed to not have noticed her yet since she was still quite far from them.

Carmella was twenty-four so her body was more developed than Arabella’s who was still eighteen.

Carmella’s breasts were far bigger than hers.

Even her hips were fuller. She had the allure of a woman.

’That bastard!

I didn’t think he would fall for this sort of thing!

I thought he loved me.

Why is he getting tempted by Carmella’s body like this?!’

Arabella was getting so frustrated. And yes, angry; both at Carmella and her husband.

’She’s even caressing his arms!’

Arabella felt like she might explode in anger.

Seeing Ferdinand get touched by someone else didn’t sit well with her.

He is her husband.

She walked in their direction before she could stop herself.

But she slowed down and tapped her summoning ring thrice when she heard them speaking.
