Chapter 156: Chapter 156: Hospital And Questioning

"You are a monster, a deadly monster," Tang Mo repeated.

Tang Jingsheng rolled his eyes. He had to admit, he fancied the word, ’monster.’ It fits perfectly with his aesthetic.

If Tang Mo knew about the thoughts in his brother’s mind, he would be surprised, and he would not know how to react to his.

"I am calling the police, someone like you should not be allowed to be surrounded by women," Tang Mo clumsily searched for his phone in his pocket.

He was frustrated as he searched for it unsuccessfully.

"Brother, wait, you can call the police later on, but I would like to tell you something," Tang Jingsheng spoke up, causing Tang Mo to stop in his actions.

"What do you have to say?" Tang Mo queried. He squinted his eyes feeling wary of him.

"You know your girlfriend," Tang Jingsheng paused, licking his lips lustfully.

This action of his caused Tang Mo’s blood to boil, and he almost pounced on him, but he suppressed his anger. He wanted to know what he was about to say.

"She almost became my victim, but someone saved her which is sad, I even thought she would have told you about the encounter with me, but it seems she does not trust you yet," Tang Jingsheng clicked his tongue disappointed.

Tang Mo widened his eyes. All the blood drained from his face as he listened to what he said.

’Zhou Mian was almost raped by him?’ He asked himself as he fixed his gaze on his brother, who wasn’t the least bothered about his actions.

’This is the reason she left the house the first time we came, and also why she does not want to accompany me to this place, she must have been traumatized by his actions,’ Tang Mo pieced the bits together.

He directed a glare towards his brother. He knew why Zhou Mian did not tell him. She thought he would not have believed her.

He breathed out, realizing he had made a huge mistake.

"You are evil, nothing is stopping me from calling the police, it is unclear to me why you and Tang Mei decided to take the wrong path," Tang Mo declared as he brought out his phone, dialing the station’s number.

Tang Jingsheng did not stop him. He had already realized that this would happen once Tang Mo had discovered him.

"You can call the police, I am not against it, but you should not forget her, you might as well call the ambulance while you are it, she might not make it," Tang Jingsheng causally stated as he glanced at Feng Shui who was slowly losing her breath.

Tang Mo, who had just gotten off the phone turned his attention to Feng Shui, and it was just as Tang Jingsheng had said.

Tang Mo’s heart skipped several beats on seeing the girl’s pale face. With one last fierce glare directed towards the brother, he carried Feng Shui in his hands, and walked out of the bedroom.

Tang Jingsheng sneered slightly, before sitting on the bed with his hand on his forehead. He sighed heavily. At the end of the day, he was still discovered.

Meanwhile, Tang Mo called Zhou Mian as he drove recklessly to the hospital.

Zhou Mian frowned once the call got disconnected. She looked at her phone, wondering why he sounded anxious while requesting for her to meet him at the hospital.

He did not allow her to give him a reply, which intensified her worry. Nevertheless, she paused what she was doing, and drove to the hospital. It sounded urgent.

Forty minutes later, Zhou Mian arrived at the hospital. She called Tang Mo to ask where he was. She could not shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

Tang Mo replied by sending her a text message informing her what ward he was. Zhou Mian asked one of the nurses, who happily directed her to the ward.

When she got to the ward, she saw Tang Mo outside the ward, and she ran to him.

Zhou Mian worriedly checked on him. She was worried that something was wrong with him.

"Relax, I am fine, I am not the one who is hurt, but rather, Feng Shui," Tang Mo stopped her with a hoarse voice.

Zhou Mian’s heart skipped a beat hearing Feng Shui’s name. She looked at Tang Mo who looked a bit disheveled, and looked like someone who had cried, and she was curious as to what had happened.

"What is wrong? Why is she in the hospital?" She asked as she suppressed the fear in her.

"I caught my brother forcing himself on her, and funnily enough, this is not the first time this has taken place, I also got to find out many things today," Tang Mo directly stared at her, and she swallowed.

Zhou Mian felt her secret must have been exposed as she matched his gaze. She did not want him to be suspicious.

"Mian, are you hiding anything from me?" Tang Mo asked while fixing his gaze on her.

Zhou Mian’s heartbeat increased exponentially as she swallowed fearfully.

"I am not hiding anything from you," Zhou Mian replied. She had a bitter taste in her mouth after uttering those words. She was lying after all.

"Is that so? Why are you lying?" He tilted his head to question her.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked. She did not know where she got the courage to look into his eyes, but she found herself looking into her eyes, her reflection staring back at her.

"Why did you not tell me about my brother? Why did you not tell me my brother had tried to rape you in the past? If you had done so, we could have averted this issue, Feng Shui would not be fighting for her life," Tang Mo thundered out, breathing heavily.

Zhou Mian shuddered, hearing his loud voice. She looked at his red face, and she concluded that he had found out.

"What should I have said? Would you have believed me if I said it to you?" This time around, Zhou Mian threw back her question as a form of reply.
