She shook her head in denial. Technically speaking, she did not have a hand in this.

Wu Tang only gave her a drink to take, and before losing her consciousness, she heard about her his plans.

At the end of the day, she was not involved in all of these.

She was a victim in this. But if she tries to explain it to them, they will not believe her. This was a result of her doings, her past actions will not prompt them to believe her.

For the first time, she felt defeated, and disappointed in her actions.

"Tang Mei, you have disappointed me, and I don’t think I can forgive you this time, just be obedient while we plan your marriage, this is the only thing you can help me do, if you truly consider me your father," Tang Jun declared, before leaving the sitting room.

"You are a disgrace to this family, and I hope you will be obedient and get married to him," Tang Mo sneered, and left the house.

He might not show it, but he was disappointed in her actions, and her presence irritated him.

Everyone dispersed from the living room leaving behind Wu Tang and Tang Mei, with Tang Mei sitting on the floor with a distant look in her eyes.

Wu Tang exhaled. He was not interested in the family drama, but he still had the image of a gentleman, and though nobody was present in the living room.

Wu Tang could tell that the maids were keeping an eye on him, one wrong move, and his mask would be pulled off.

"Come on, the world doesn’t end because your father and brother disowned you, you will be getting married to me, cheer up," he had a gentlemanly smile on his face as he helped her up.

Tang Mei rose from the floor with his help. She was disconnected from the outside world. Her father’s words hurt her, but then again, she had only herself to blame.

"Let’s go," Wu Tang said, helping her out of Tang’s household.

As Wu Tang had thought, some maids were paying attention to him. Thankfully, his performance was up to par.

Today was not the day he visited his brother, but he decided that this was the best place to unwind, since his girlfriend, Zhou Mian was busy.

When he got into the condo, he was surprised by the silence in the living room.

Tang Mo’s brows furrowed deeply as he could not find Feng Shui or his brother anywhere.

’Perhaps, he is in his room,’ he mused to himself as he walked in a particular direction.

He hummed slightly, taking slow steps towards the room.

Once he got to the room, he was about to place his hand on the doorknob, but he paused as his ears picked up strange noises.

He was confused, but did not think much into it until the noises became louder.

He felt an ominous feeling, and with that fear in his heart, he barged into the room, only to be surprised by what was going on in the room.

"Brother!" He screamed as his hands flew to his mouth in disbelief.

Tang Jingsheng immediately scrambled from the bed as he hastily covered himself with the duvet.

Tang Mo had a look of disbelief on his face as he stared at his brother. He would never have imagined that he would find his brother forcing himself on a lady.

"Brother, why?" He asked as he made slow steps to the bed.

Feng Shui, who was on the bed, was shivering, and feeling frightful.

She had bruises all over her body, and her hair was scattered, causing her to look disheveled.

Tang Jingsheng stood at the side, surprised by the unexpected visit of his brother. He was not expecting his brother to show up today, hence, the reasons for his actions.

But his unexpected arrival ruined his plans.

Tang Mo forcefully swallowed the bile in his mouth as he covered the girl who was still shivering with a duvet. He had every reason to think that she would be traumatized by this event.

"For how long has this been going on?" Tang Mo asked. He believed that this must have been going on for a long time.

He looked at his brother who was not looking weak, unlike yesterday which he visited him.

Tang Mei shook his head at his stupidity. He should have noticed, but he overlooked it.

He had seen a bruise on her arm yesterday, and when he had asked her yesterday, she did not bother to reply to him.

Likewise, he had also noticed that she looked emaciated every time he visited. She was pale each time, but he did not bother to ask about it and as he thought it was normal.

Tang Mo hit his hand on his forehead repeatedly. He blamed himself, if he had noticed it earlier, he would have been able to curb it?

"I asked a question, brother! When did this start? And when did you get well? Were you even sick at all?" Tang Mo asked, but he did not expect to nail on the head.

Tang Jingsheng lowered his head, not speaking at all. What could he say? Everything was out in the open, and he could not deny it even if he wanted to.

Tang Mo took two steps back in shock. He felt startled. His brother might not have answered, but his expression gave him out.

"That means, all your episodes were never real, you faked them, is that so, Brother?" Tang Mo questioned.

His heart was bleeding as he did not expect his brother would fake everything.

"Yes!" Tang Jingsheng yelled. He was tired of hearing Tang Mo analyze his actions.

"Yes, isn’t that what you wanted to hear? I was never sick, I have always forced myself on her ever since she arrived, isn’t that what you want to hear me say, there, I have confessed to it," Tang Jingsheng’s emotions were all over the place as he confessed to his crimes.

"You are a monster," Tang Mo whispered as tears dropped from his eyes.
