Chapter 157: The Deadly Sins
Chapter 157: Chapter 157: The Deadly Sins
Tang Mo did not give her a reply as he thought deeply about it.
Would he have believed her if she did inform him about it? The answer, NO!
The clueless him trusted his brother, and he would not like to hear any negative remarks about him.
"I thought as much," Zhou Mian’s voice broke him out of his reverie. She sounded extremely disappointed with his lack of reaction.
"Now, do you understand why I could not tell you?" She asked as a tear slipped down from her eyes.
Tang Mo felt his heart squeeze in pain. She was the one who experienced such a traumatic past, and he still questioned her. It was too insensitive of him.
"I am sorry, I was too insensitive, and I did not think about your feelings before I asked you the question, please forgive me," he walked towards her with slow steps, apologizing at the same time.
Zhou Mian sighed, furiously wiping her tears, which just kept on falling.
"You know that day, I was lucky to be saved, or else, I could have been raped by your brother and his friends, they were five, and they are leering at me, I felt frightful that day," Zhou Mian shivered as she thought about that day.
She wondered what would have become of her if the security had not shown up. She would probably have landed in the hospital, just the same way Feng Shui was.
Likewise, she shuddered. The feeling was too scary, and she definitely did not want to experience it.
"Wait a second, did you say they were five men?" Tang Mo narrowed his eyes, as he queried.
"Yes, I remember vividly, four men including your brother making them five, they also seem to listen to your brother, so he must have undoubtedly been their leader," Zhou Mian replied, albeit feeling confused.
She was unclear about the reason he asked her such a question.
"Those bastards, I will put them in jail," Tang Mo clenched his fists. His teeth were grinding against each other, as he tried to suppress his rage.
But it was futile as he released a powerful aura, one which Tang Mo had never released previously.
Zhou Mian took slow steps backwards as she watched him. This was the first time she saw him act this way, causing her to wonder what must have gotten into him.
"What happened? Tang Mo, are you okay?" She asked with concern, but she was still wary of his current self.
Tang Mo got back to his senses on hearing her gentle call, and he exhaled heavily. He had scared her, there was no doubt about it.
"Did I scare you?" Tang Mo asked.
Zhou Mian shook her head in answer. She was lying. She was actually frightful of him, but it was okay since he had gotten back to his senses.
"I must have scared you, you see, the reason I had such a massive reaction was because the men you had seen with my brother could actually be the criminals the police were searching for," Tang Mo explained, rubbing his head in annoyance.
"What do you mean by that?" Zhou Mian asked with her brows scrunched up feeling completely clueless about what he was saying.
"What criminals are you talking about?" She asked as she stared at him, hoping he gave her a satisfactory answer.
"The deadly sins, that is who they are, I am afraid my brother could be the head of such a dangerous faction," Tang Mo gulped, fearful about such a possibility.
"The deadly sins?" Zhou Mian was confused. This was the first time she was hearing about such a name, and she had no idea who they might be.
Tang Mo looked at the girl who was completely curious about such a faction, and he sighed. It truly wasn’t her fault.
The police kept the matter under wraps, and only a few concerned people were aware such a faction truly exists. He was lucky to be among those few people.
"The deadly sins are one of the most wanted groups by the police, they consist of five men, and the aim of those men is to rape and kidnap ladies, they have been on the run for a while now, I have the feeling that my brother could be among after hearing what you faced years ago."
Tang Mo explained to her as he paced around the corridor outside the operation theater.
Zhou Mian was speechless as her mouth hung open in shock. The information was a little hard for her to digest.
If everything was accurate, then it could mean Tang Jingsheng could be the head of such a terrifying faction.
Just the thought of it sent chills down her spine. She had barely managed to escape them, but Feng Shui was not that lucky.
"It might not be true, there is a high chance they could not be the one," Zhou Mian was hopeful.
As much as she hated Tang Jingsheng, she hoped he was not the head. If he truly was, then Tang Mo will feel devastated.
Finding out his brother was a rapist was terrific enough. To find out his brother could be the head of one of the most terrifying groups would be a major blow to him.
Tang Mo looked at the girl who was desperately trying to make him think otherwise, and he chuckled bitterly.
There was no way this was not the truth. All signs pointed towards his brother.
He could not hide, nor run from the truth. It was a cowardly act.
"Mian," Tang Mo suddenly held her hands, and she paused in her ramblings.
"I am not scared of facing the truth, if it truly is my brother, then I will make sure he is brought to law, he has hurt many girls, and he deserves to be punished, I will not be weak," he affirmed strongly.
Zhou Mian’s eyes glistened with tears as she listened to his words. She felt that it was unfair to him. He was clearly hurting within, but he had to put up a brave front, which was not fair towards him.
And all these were Tang Jingsheng’s fault!
