Wu Tang looked at the little princess who had been entitled her entire life, and he had a strong urge to laugh, but he held it in, merely responding with a scoff.

"I will say it again and again, just sit back and watch the show, if I inform you of my plans, it is the same as informing the whole world," Wu Tang shook his head and walked out of her.

Tang Mei could only stand speechlessly, hastily turning to look at him, feeling startled.

"Tang Mei is here," Li Qiang casually commented as he played with Xin Yan’s fingers.

Xin Yan had no idea about what he was doing as her eyes searched the crowd for a particular person.

On getting no response from her, Li Qiang looked at her, and he scrunched up his eyebrows seeing that she was not paying attention to him, rather, she was focused more on the crowd.

"Who are you looking for?" Li Qiang asked, his heart filled with unprecedented hatred against that person, that person has taken his wife’s attention away from him.

"Zhou Mian, it has been a long time since I saw her, her family is influential, I do not know if she was invited," Xin Yan replied without turning to look at him, still using her eyes to search through the crowd.

"You will not be able to find her this way, why don’t you call her?" Li Qiang suggested, and she let out a sigh.

"I totally forgot about that," she facepalmed, before she brought out her phone.

She dialed her number, which was picked up within seconds.

"Xin Yan! You finally decided to call me, you have totally forgotten about your friend ever since you got married, I am really mad at you," Zhou Mian vented her anger in a loud pitched voice immediately she picked up the call.

Xin Yan seemed to have been expecting this as she put her phone away from her ear, frowning a bit.

"I am deeply sorry, I have been busy in the past few weeks, why don’t I make it up to you tomorrow? Will you go shopping with me and my sister-in-law?" Xin Yan decided to pacify her first.

As expected, she became silent, "fine, only because you are trying your best," she gave in.

"Anyways, are you present for the party held by Wu Tang?" Xin Yan asked, her eyes moved around trying to see if she can at least spot her.

"Yes I am, my parents were invited, so I had to show up, wait a minute, are you here?" From where Zhou Mian was seated, she also tried to search for her.
