Chapter 138: Chapter 138: Fu Ji Is Arrested

It was not known if Xin Yi heard her shout, but he turned back, and he noticed that Fu Ji was about to run him over.

He was frozen for a second, before he moved out of the way just in time.

Fu Ji collided with his car, and due to the speed which he was using previously, the collision was bad.

Chaos followed the collision, as Xin Yi’s people rushed to him, wanting to check up on him. They wanted to see whether he was safe or not.

"I am fine," he breathed out, after they had completed checking him out.

He looked at Fu Ji’s car, which was emitting smoke, and he felt a chill in his heart. If he had been late for a second, he could have been pulp.

Fu Ji came out of the car with a terrible expression on his face. He looked at his car, which was terribly damaged, and he was annoyed.

If he had at least his target, he would not have felt this way. Instead, he would feel that it was worth it, but his most expensive car has been badly damaged.

He looked towards Xin Yi, who was staring at him, and he clenched his fists tightly.

He watched as Xin Yi walked towards him, and his anger flared.

"Why do you want to kill me? Is it because of the incident years ago? You want to finish me just the same way you did to my comrades," Xin Yi’s temper was rising as he stared at the man who was not remorseful.

"So you finally found out about your friends, it took you long enough to do so," Fu Ji sneered as he watched Xin Yi who was in disbelief by his words.

"You are evil, I should have reported you when you raped that girl to death," Xin Yi yelled, venting his frustrations.

Because his voice was loud, and the environment was silent, everyone heard what Xin Yi had said.

Pandemonium ensued immediately as people discussed what they had just heard.

Fu Ji looked at the people who were staring at him with judgmental eyes, and he rolled his eyes.

"You all have no right to judge me, I believe you all have your skeletons in your cupboard, so just forget about it, I did what I did, so what?" Fu Ji was not remorseful at all, instead he tried to justify his actions, by judging others.

All the people have different expressions on their faces. What Fu Ji had said was true, they all had skeletons in their cupboards, but nobody knew about it since it was not out in the open.

His was different, everyone knew about it, and he admitted to it. He was going to jail, there was no denying that.

His fans did not know how to react to this piece of information. They could not protect him, he was guilty, as he had already admitted to it.

"You really have no shame," Fu Ji heard a voice from behind, it was Zhang Luiying along with Xin Yan who was worried about her brother’s welfare.

"You raped a fifteen-year-old, you killed someone, threatened another, should I continue to list all your crimes?" Zhang Luiying looked at him with disgust in her eyes, everyone could see it as it was glaring.

The way everybody looked at him changed. They did not know if it was true, but Fu Ji panicked, and the panic did not go past their eyesight. They could see it clearly.

"Could it be true?" One of his fans whispered.

"It should be, the lady looks very confident, and he panicked, it must be true," another replied, as the topic was on everyone’s lips.

"Who are you? And how do you know about all that?" Fu Ji took a step back. He was panicky, his secrets would be exposed. He was not as cocky as he was earlier.

Zhang Luiying did not speak as she stood beside Xin Yi, who smiled at her.

"Are you okay?" She asked him with worry, and he nodded positively.

"Everyone, meet my wife, Zhang Luiying, the first daughter of the Zhang family," Xin Yi noticed that the crowd could hear him, and thus, he introduced Zhang Luiying who was blushing.

A collective gasp from the crowd could be heard. News of his marriage was impromptu, they were not expecting to find out about it, and certainly, not this way.

"Brother, you won," Xin Yan ran towards him with a smile, and he patted her head, ruffling it in the process.

She glared at him for a while before arranging it, and taking a spot on his other side.

Xin Yan sneered at Fu Ji, who averted his gaze. He recognized Xin Yan, after all, he had once tried to hit on her, but she beat him to a pulp. He could still recall the pains, and he feared her greatly.

Zhang Luiying breathed out, and she continued, "just so you know, I have gathered evidence of your misdeeds, and I have submitted it to the police, they are on their way soon, you have nowhere to run, if you have it in mind."

Fu Ji widened his eyes in fear. He turned to run, but Zhi blocked him immediately. He understood that he would resort to running; therefore, he had stood behind him for a while, without him knowing.

All of a sudden, sirens could be heard, and everyone guessed that it was the police.

True to everyone’s guess, it was the police.

"We received a case, with evidence as well, who was it?" the head of the police asked after he and his team had approached them.

"I was the one," Zhang Luiying replied as she stepped forward.

"Who am I to arrest? The person who had committed all these crimes is despicable, there is no denying that," the head of the officers was annoyed with the case.

He could not imagine how the person could be so brutal, and commit such evil crimes.

"He is the one," Zhang Luiying pointed towards Fu Ji who was trying to reduce his presence, but it was not possible.

"So it is you," the officer sneered.

"Arrest him," he gave his order, and immediately, one of the sergeants approached him, and handcuffed him, despite his struggles.

They pulled him away, and he was disgraced and shamed.

Xin Yi draped his arms around Zhang Luiying who looked at him in relief. They could finally say that Fu Ji’s story had come to an end.
