Chapter 462: Chapter 75: The Big Windmill Turns and Turns【Fifth Update】_1

While flailing the brick around wildly and retreating in escape, the rabbit, upon hearing these words, almost didn’t tumble down from the sky, exclaiming angrily, "Shut your damn mouth!"

As soon as these words came out, the brick gave Qin Shou a sideways glance, but Lan San actually looked at him with quite a bit of approval.

Qin Shou was speechless, his mind foggy, thinking to himself, "Damn it, which side is which in this battle? It’s really a mess!"

As for Dading True Master, who had followed them here, he didn’t make a move but stood on the Furnace with a conflicted expression, looking down at the Furnace below his feet. He seemed to want to do something several times, but every time he reached out, he gave up, his eyes full of disdain.

Gongsun Lvluo saw Lan San make a move, so naturally, she didn’t feel it was right to join in.

Bullying the weak was already a bit too much, and if they ganged up on him, the story would lose face once it spread.

Gongsun Lvluo knew that Lan San cared a lot about face, so even though she was very annoyed that the rabbit had broken out of her trap, she still clenched her teeth and didn’t make a move, all the while staring intently at Kui San, who had quickly run out of sight, cursing in her heart, "I thought you were a man, but in the end, aren’t you just a backstabbing survivor? Pah!"

No sooner had she spoken than Kui San seemed to have heard her, as if time had suddenly stopped, he came to a halt.

Then, Kui San touched his own shoulder, looking around dumbfounded and eventually turned around abruptly to see the rabbit still fighting, holding his head with both hands and shouting, "Rabbit! Why aren’t you running?!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou almost cried out; was he not running? He had been thrown back!

And then Qin Shou shouted, "Big Fool, I thought you were just a fool, but I didn’t realize you also had Alzheimer’s... "

Kui San was taken aback, apparently not quite understanding what Qin Shou meant, then, with tears welling up in his eyes, shouted, "Are you covering for me? You’re such a good brother!"

In that instant, Gongsun Lvluo felt like her entire worldview had been flipped upside down, murmuring to herself, "Six Tails didn’t die unjustly, this really IS a fool!"

After Kui San shouted, he turned around and ran back, yelling as he ran, "Don’t hit that brick, come at me if you dare!"

Kui San’s shout snapped Lan San out of it; what use was there chasing after a brick? Killing the rabbit was the priority!

So, Lan San’s blade turned and she charged straight for Qin Shou!

Seeing this, Qin Shou wished he could stew Kui San, that dumbass Kun, but he could only deal with Lan San now. Brick in hand, he blocked!

Alas, Lan San’s figure suddenly turned into a dreamlike illusion and vanished, then a blade appeared right at Qin Shou’s throat!

It was too fast, Qin Shou couldn’t even dodge, his body was transforming into a shadow, but it was still a bit slow...

As the blade got closer and closer, Qin Shou had fewer and fewer ideas.

At the most critical moment, he instinctively blinked.

Just then...

Bang!

A muffled sound, as if someone’s head had crashed into an iron railing.

Qin Shou felt the blade’s edge right in front of his neck, goosebumps all over it. But he was confused, why didn’t they stab him?

Could it be because he was too handsome, and that flat-chested old woman took a liking to him?

Or maybe, did they have a change of heart, and didn’t want to trouble him anymore?

...

Innumerable thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant, and as he opened his eyes, he was stunned!

Lan San was blocked by an iron railing inside, his head covered in blood. He twisted his body, stretching out a hand, desperately trying to strike Qin Shou with his knife, but alas, he was just a little bit short and couldn’t reach no matter how he tried.

Qin Shou found the iron railing somewhat familiar, then suddenly remembered, wasn’t this the magic treasure used by the three big fools to trap the Daynight Wandering God? It seemed to be called the void prison, a treasure refined by their ancestors harnessing the power of the void, designed specifically to function as a beast-fighting cage. No matter how agile your enemy was, once bound inside, they would have to go toe-to-toe with Kun’s iron fists.

Back then, the Daynight Wandering God had suffered greatly because of this treasure, and who would have thought it would end up in Kui San’s possession.

Qin Shou turned around to thank Kui San for his timely wit, only to see Kui San scratching his head and muttering, "That’s not right, it was thrown off target. It was supposed to trap those guys, the rabbit, and me all inside..."

Having said that, Kui San then made a gesture to retract the void prison.

Seeing this, Qin Shou was so frightened that his hair stood on end, and he rushed over to slap Kui San’s shiny bald head, shouting, "Don’t you dare retrieve it!"

Then, Kui San looked at Qin Shou with a dumbfounded expression, holding up a transparent cage and asking, "What did you say?"

Qin Shou felt the chill and deadly aura behind him, not to mention, his rage meter was nearly full!

Kui San wanted to say something more, but Qin Shou suddenly grew larger, grabbed Kui San, and started running like mad! His whole being turned into the shadow of a rabbit as he sprinted away.

Almost simultaneously, the spot where he had just stood was pierced by a dagger flying out of the void.

A huge cauldron fell from the sky, smashing down on empty space.

"Damn rabbit, stop right there!" Lan San roared in anger!

Qin Shou glanced back and noticed that Lan San’s face still bore the mark of a red railing, clearly showing how severe the collision had been. If one listened carefully, it even seemed like his speech was slightly whistling...

Hot on their heels were Dading True Master and Gongsun Lvluo.

Setting aside those two, Lan San seemed to have a knack for a unique type of magic, the way of illusions. His own speed wasn’t the fastest, but his knife strikes were incredibly quick! Even though he hadn’t caught up, his blade had!

Qin Shou felt a gust of wind behind his head, and then transformed into a figure with three heads and six arms, grabbing one of Kui San’s ankles and whirling him around like a flail to smash toward the incoming blade!

Kui San howled as he drew out his leg-shaped weapon and with a smack, deflected the blade.

Lan San was instantly enraged and tore off one of his own spikes, flinging it at Qin Shou! Qin Shou quickly used Kui San to block, and Kui San, living up to expectations, blocked the spike once again.

Qin Shou praised, "Beautifully done!"

Kui San exclaimed, "One weapon isn’t enough."

Qin Shou casually handed him a brick and said, "Use this!"

Kui San weighed the strange weapon, asking, "Can this thing be used? Can it be eaten?"

Before Qin Shou could reply, the brick cursed outright, "Eat your grandpa! You reek of fish, and I’m already putting up with you, now get to work!"

Kui San had never been scolded by a brick in his life, but when short daggers and spikes came his way again, he immediately swung his leg-shaped weapon and the brick to block.

Not one for words, Kui San kept silent, just grimly blocking Lan San’s attacks. But the brick was different; this bizarre magic treasure was clearly more proficient in verbal warfare than in actual combat.

So the brick unapologetically took control of the conversation, shouting, "Flat-chested women, is that all you’ve got?"

Upon hearing this, Lan San snorted coldly, "As you wish!"
