Chapter 263: Chapter 260 Sun Wukong? [Subscribe Request]_1

Qin Shou laughed and said, "Have you really submitted?"

"I’ve really submitted!" The Owl Spirit said while secretly sneering in his heart: With my ability to fly away, the moment you let me go, I’ll fly far, far away and never give you the chance to sneak up on me again! Then you’ll witness my skills!

Qin Shou slapped the Furnace, the cover opened, and the Owl Spirit flew out, then turned into a black light, attempting to escape!

But then he heard the Rabbit laughing from behind, "Would I, the great I, let you loose without being able to keep you from running away?"

As he spoke, Qin Shou took out several golden rings and threw them into the air. The rings whooshed as they chased after the Owl Spirit. Before the spirit could react, he felt a tightness around his body and in an instant, he was bound into a wooden post, crashing to the ground with a thud.

No sooner had he fallen than some little monsters were waiting below, dragging and pulling the Owl Spirit in front of Qin Shou, crying out, "My lord, we’ve captured him!"

Qin Shou laughed and said, "Throw him into the pot and stew him!"

"My lord! No, I didn’t mean to run! I’m a bird, if I don’t fly, should I walk? I’m truly subdued." The Owl Spirit wailed loudly.

Qin Shou snapped his fingers, and the little monsters let go, and the Owl Spirit didn’t dare to make another move; he wasn’t a fool. With the magic treasure bound to him, he was certainly caught. He decided it was best to be compliant...

Qin Shou said, "You’re lucky. If it weren’t for the fact that I, the great I, is short of subordinates, I’d stew all of you lot!"

The Owl Spirit nodded repeatedly.

Qin Shou retracted the Golden Circle, and the Owl Spirit didn’t dare to flee anymore, called out twice, and the Bird Spirits that had just scattered swiftly returned, landing and kneeling before Qin Shou.

Looking around, Qin Shou realized that he had somehow amassed over a thousand little monsters, and a sense of grandeur immediately welled up in his heart—this was truly a man’s world!

He was the sole ruler in the Heavenly Court, and the Earthly Immortal Realm was full of his underlings—now this was living!

Regrettably, every demon was uglier than the next, including a few females, but they were all as big and bulky as Calf. How could he lay a hand on them?

Sighing, Qin Shou put away his thoughts and said, "You two, come here."

The Boar Spirit, who had just regained his senses, realized that the flurry of Bird Spirits attacking him had scared him stiff. But, it seemed... he hadn’t run away, and instead, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

The Boar Spirit struggled to move forward while kneeling and shouted, "The great Immortal Rabbit, with boundless mana, may your reign last for thousands of years and prevail over all heavens!"

Qin Shou laughed, finding the Boar Spirit amusing despite his lackluster appearance.

The Leopard Demon King came over too, joining in the shouting.

Qin Shou said, "Enough, no more shouting. What are your names? Never mind, don’t tell me. Even if you did, I won’t necessarily remember. Whatever you were called before, starting now, you have new names!"

Then, pointing at the Owl Spirit, Qin Shou continued, "You, are just a bird, right? From now on, you’re called Yaoji!"

The Owl Spirit didn’t know what Yaoji meant, but a chicken, no matter how impressive, was still a chicken! His heart was bitter, but he quickly nodded and responded, "Thank you, my lord, for the bestowed name!"

Upon hearing this, the Boar Spirit and the Leopard Spirit couldn’t help but snicker...

Qin Shou then pointed to the Boar Spirit and said, "You, with a face as round as a pancake, you’ll be called Yibing!"

"Thank you, my lord!" the Boar Spirit cried with a sob in his voice, finding his new name even worse than Yaoji!

Now it was the Owl Spirit’s turn to laugh...

The Leopard Spirit chuckled, but when he heard Qin Shou point at him and say, "You, from now on, you’re called Big Four Joys!" his smile turned into a bitter one, and he wondered what was going on with the Rabbit’s brain to come up with such absurd names?

Yaoji and Yibing couldn’t help but burst into laughter upon hearing this...

Qin Shou didn’t pay much attention to their reactions and shouted, "Enough with the nonsense! I ask you, do you know where Huaguo Mountain is?"

Upon hearing this, Yaoji quickly raised his hand and said, "Reporting to my lord, I’ve heard of Huaguo Mountain! It should be towards the west, next to the East Sea!"

Hearing this, Qin Shou was overjoyed and said, "Yaoji, well done! Lead the way, everyone, we’re moving out!"

So Yaoji held his head high with satisfaction, glancing at Yibing and Big Four Joys, fairly radiating the attitude of, "See? Knowledge is power! You guys just don’t cut it!"

The great army set out, heading east, taunting all the way, provoking demons from all sides to come forth in challenge. But then, upon facing this rabbit that thrashed Immortals, they were all beaten senseless.

When they emerged, they were lords; in the blink of an eye, they all became minions to the rabbit.

The rabbit couldn’t be bothered to get acquainted with each one individually, so he lumped them all together for Yaoji, Yibing, and Big Four Joys to manage.

The three rascals, seeing the new underlings who were about as strong as they were, if not stronger, and commanded forces larger than their own, all instantly broke into gleeful smiles.

For the first time, they thought following the rabbit wasn’t half bad!

The most content among them was Yibing, who, after the Yaoji incident, was brimming with confidence. Waving the flag, he ran to the forefront and, upon spotting demons, no matter how many, he’d immediately give chase, howling, "My lord, I’ve caught another hundred little monsters!"

"My lord, I’ve nabbed another ten thousand little monsters!"

"Hey, all you little monsters, freeze! You’ve been captured by me!"

...

Thus, Qin Shou found himself with an ever-growing collection of demons, including some very powerful ones. A group of demons finally banded together to form a grand demonic cloud, carrying the flying-challenged little monsters in a majestic parade, banging drums and chanting slogans, flamboyantly marching towards Huaguo Mountain.

Qin Shou, seated atop his tank, gazed upon the mighty procession, his heart swelling with pride. Yet, he sighed with a tinge of regret, "What a pity that Lady Chang’e can’t see such a majestic image of me. Otherwise, based on this alone, wouldn’t she throw herself into my arms? Hehe..."

Just as Qin Shou was reveling in pride, Yaoji suddenly flew up, saying, "My lord, Huaguo Mountain is just ahead!"

At those words, Qin Shou perked up with excitement and hurriedly looked over, to see a range of peaks entering his field of vision. The mountain wasn’t particularly tall but was incredibly graceful. With streams flowing through the mountains and mist hanging like gossamer, it was akin to a celestial paradise on earth.

Qin Shou puzzled in his heart how such a divine place, faced with a myriad of demons, could be monopolized by a troop of monkeys? To say there wasn’t something fishy going on, Qin Shou would not believe it even if you beat him to death!

Qin Shou scanned the mountains, and his eyes just happened to catch a stone standing there. While the stone itself didn’t seem noteworthy, its location was!

There, to the east was the sun, to the west the moon; if one looked up, the stars were overhead!

That is to say, while it might not be the highest point on the mountain, it was a place that could absorb the essence of the sun, moon, and stars!

Furthermore, considering that the stone stood alone, Qin Shou boldly guessed that this must be the multicolored divine stone left by Nvwa when she mended the sky!

From a distance, Qin Shou heard the cacophony of the mountain monkeys, clearly petrified by the advancing cloud of demons!

Qin Shou chuckled and said, "They’re really just a bunch of little monkeys, eh! Perhaps I’m overthinking this?"

No sooner had he spoken than a thunderous voice boomed from Huaguo Mountain, "What base Calf dares to trespass upon Huaguo Mountain?!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou jumped in shock!

The voice was rough and as loud as thunder. With just a roar, it caused many little monsters to go weak in the knees, slumping to the ground, too terrified to move.

Qin Shou frowned, realizing that trouble had arrived!

At that moment, Yaoji came up and said, "My lord, it’s not advisable to force our way into Huaguo Mountain."

Qin Shou, puzzled, asked, "What do you mean?"

Before Yaoji could respond, they saw a monkey from Huaguo Mountain swiftly climb to the peak in just a few leaps.

This monkey stood three meters tall, its arms so long they practically touched the ground, its face fierce and its fangs exposed, looking ferocious as it looked up at Qin Shou’s army, roaring, "Whoever you are, get lost quickly! Otherwise, this king won’t be polite!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Shou thought, ’My lord’?

Another monkey!

And by the looks of it, quite intimidating!

Could this be Sun Wukong? But his appearance was quite different from the one in ’Journey to the West’!
