Chapter 862: Chapter 858 It’s Really Improper
After waiting for two or three minutes, a scantily dressed young woman with a decent appearance came out following the older woman.
"Ahan, this customer wants a haircut. You take care of him first. I’ll wait outside. Once the washing is almost done, get the boss to cut his hair," the older woman said with a smile, introducing Ahan to Chen Yang.
Although every word was about a haircut, it still sounded a bit off.
"Got it, Sister Xia. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure this customer has a comfortable experience," Ahan said with a smile, nodding in agreement. After that, the older woman simply walked out.
Now, only Chen Yang and Ahan were left inside.
From the tone of their conversation, Chen Yang could already sense that something was off. It was clear this was not a legitimate establishment.
But since he was already seated and saw that the tools for cutting hair were indeed complete, he figured they might still actually cut hair here.
"I just want a haircut."
Wary of any funny business, Chen Yang deliberately stated this outright.
"Hahaha, sure, customer. Don’t worry, just a haircut," Ahan said with a laugh, covering her mouth and nodding in agreement.
Seeing this, Chen Yang didn’t say more and simply leaned his head into the sink for washing.
Ahan immediately stepped forward, turned on the hot water, and began washing Chen Yang’s hair.
At first, everything was normal—washing, applying shampoo, and some light massaging.
But when it was time to rinse off the suds, Ahan suddenly started acting inappropriately.
Her fairly soft hands began touching Chen Yang’s skin in strange ways, and her tone became suggestive and filled with innuendo!
To be honest, Ahan had some charm in seduction.
If Chen Yang were just an average person, he would certainly have lost control. Even if he initially came for a simple haircut, he might have ended up falling for her tricks.
But Chen Yang was no ordinary man—he had seen all kinds of beauty before.
So, with her antics revealing what kind of place this was, Chen Yang felt nothing but disdain. Not a trace of interest!
"Can you just properly wash my hair? If you can’t, just say so, and I’ll find another place," Chen Yang said coldly, frowning.
Hearing this, Ahan’s body noticeably stiffened for a moment.
Clearly, she hadn’t expected Chen Yang to say something like that.
"Uh... Customer, what are you saying? I just thought you looked like a fine gentleman and wanted to add a little extra service to enhance your experience..." Ahan said, initially coy and suggestive, but now growing more direct under Chen Yang’s cold rebuke.
The words made Chen Yang feel deeply disgusted.
A woman who would do anything for anyone wanted to pull something like this with him?
Chen Yang immediately sat up, grabbed a towel from the side, and dried his hair.
"Forget it! I didn’t come for your kind of service. I just wanted a haircut! If you can’t do that, then we’re done!" Chen Yang said coldly, tossing the towel aside and walking straight out of the room.
Ahan was left completely stunned.
Perhaps she had never encountered a man like Chen Yang before, so she was at a loss for how to respond.
However, as soon as Chen Yang walked out of the room, the older woman sitting at the front desk munching on sunflower seeds and watching TV instantly reacted.
Seeing Chen Yang storming out, she hurried over with a smile, blocking his way to ask what had happened and why he was so upset.
Chen Yang, now thoroughly annoyed, still answered her question.
"Didn’t I make it clear that I just wanted a haircut? What was all that nonsense about?" Chen Yang said coldly, pushing the woman aside and heading toward the door to leave.
Seeing that Chen Yang was about to walk out, the older woman quickly caught up to him again.
"Hey, hey, wait a second! Why are you leaving in such a hurry?" she said, blocking Chen Yang’s path.
"If you can’t cut hair here, why should I stay?" Chen Yang said, glaring at her coldly.
The woman gave a sly smirk: "Even if we can’t cut hair, you still can’t leave. You had your hair washed here, so shouldn’t you pay for that?"
Hearing this, Chen Yang couldn’t help but laugh.
She actually wanted to charge him for that?
Finding it ridiculous but not wanting to argue, Chen Yang took out his phone and asked how much, intending to pay and leave.
"How much? Five hundred!"
The woman crossed her arms confidently.
Chen Yang’s smile instantly faded upon hearing "five hundred."
"Five hundred? For a bit of water and shampoo?"
"Of course! Ahan is the star of our shop. Her washing your hair comes at a premium! Charging you five hundred is already a bargain; otherwise, I would have asked for a thousand!" The woman had dropped her earlier friendliness and now spoke with a sharp and caustic tone.
Gone was the warm demeanor. Her attitude now was entirely different.
Chen Yang immediately realized her game—if the service couldn’t be sold, she’d resort to extortion.
But trying to fleece Chen Yang was a big mistake.
"Let me make this clear: you’re not getting five hundred. I’ll give you ten at most. Take it or leave it," Chen Yang said coldly.
"Ten? Are you begging on the streets? I said five hundred! If you don’t pay, you’re not leaving today!" The woman barked boldly, not backing down.
At this point, Chen Yang had completely run out of patience.
His expression darkened.
"I’ll say this one last time: It’s ten, not five hundred. Take it, or get out of my way!" Chen Yang’s voice rose as his patience wore thin.
The woman, clearly more bark than bite, flinched at Chen Yang’s shift in attitude, panic flashing across her face.
But she didn’t move out of the way. Instead, she turned toward the back and shouted for help.
"Awei, are you all dead back there? Get out here before this guy beats me up!" she hollered loudly, her voice piercing the air, probably audible throughout the entire building.
Almost immediately, seven or eight men came rushing down the stairs from the back, stomping heavily as they made their way toward her.
The rancorous group, led by a particularly audacious man with bleached yellow hair, stormed to the woman’s side.
"Who is it? Who’s causing trouble here? I’ll chop them into pieces today!" shouted the yellow-haired man, full of menace.
With these men backing her up, the woman’s panic disappeared, replaced by a smug grin.
"Who else could it be? That guy over there," she said with a sly smile, tilting her head toward Chen Yang.
The yellow-haired man, Awei, immediately turned his attention to Chen Yang.
"You’re quite bold, kid! Never heard of me, Awei? Causing trouble on my turf—is today the day you want to die?" Awei shouted aggressively.
Chen Yang’s face remained stoic and cold.
"Never heard of you," he said flatly.
"What? Never heard of me? Guess I’ll have to teach you a lesson you’ll never forget!" Awei’s temper flared, and he raised his hand, ready to strike Chen Yang.
