Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please! -
Chapter 326 - 326 Why 4
Chapter 326: Why 4 Chapter 326: Why 4 No sooner had Victoria Garcia spoken, than Mia Garcia interjected before Clara Brown could reply, “Victoria, do you think we’re crazy? Don’t we know exactly what you’re worth? You talk about buying shares as if you own the bank. If it weren’t for you…”
Seeing that Mia paused, Victoria picked up where she had left off: “You mean, if it wasn’t for your grandparents killing mine, and your grandmother being sentenced to death causing the assets to be split again, leading to my rightful share, I wouldn’t have anything to do with the corporation, right?”
“Exactly, at least you’re self-aware. Other than the shares you’ve got, what else do you have? I hope you’re not going to tell me you sold your own shares to buy those supposedly entrusted by my mom. That would be such a joke,” said Mia Garcia, who seemed to have no guilt.
Victoria Garcia sincerely felt that it was a disgrace to be so shameless.
“Why don’t you think about it, if it weren’t for your family’s greed causing the murder of my grandparents, or if your mother hadn’t been ungrateful, stole her own cousin’s husband, and gave birth to two ungrateful spawns like you, what would any of this have to do with you!” Although Victoria’s tone wasn’t emphasized, the message was very clear, “And besides, whether I have money or where it comes from, it’s none of your business!”
Mia Garcia was about to argue again, but unfortunately, even the shareholders present couldn’t stand it any longer.
Chairman Campbell was the first to step up, “How long does the security guard plan to stand there doing nothing? Kick out those irrelevant people now!”
Once Chairman Campbell took a stance, the rest of the shareholders followed suit. The conference room reverberated with calls for Clara and Mia Garcia to leave.
Clara Brown and Mia Garcia found the atmosphere unsettling, as the tables had turned too suddenly for their liking!
One director said to Clara, “Since General Garcia said your shares were sold by your husband on behalf of you, you better get this checked out and ask your husband about it. I suggest you don’t attend today’s meeting because we all trust General Garcia, we all believe in her!”
“Indeed, we all trust General Garcia!”
“Yes, we all believe General Garcia’s words!”
Victoria Garcia looked at it all. Regardless of whether these directors were sincere or not, it at least showed that her position was solid and nobody could shake her. That alone was enough!
The security guard quickly stepped in, leaving Clara Brown and Mia Garcia with no choice but to leave the room.
Once again, the conference room was quiet. Victoria Garcia sat back in her office chair and continued with the meeting, as if nothing had happened.
This calmness impressed many older directors who found it rare for someone of Victoria’s age. No wonder she could rise to prominence.
As it stood now, Clara and Mia Garcia were being escorted out of the Group Tower.
They stood outside the building, which they were once respected in and greeted as, ‘Young Miss…’ ‘CEO’s Wife…’
But now, not only were they not respected, they were driven out by the security guards like wet dogs. Mia Garcia would never forget this disgrace.
“Mom, did you really entrust the shares to Dad to handle?” Mia asked, her main concern at the moment.
Clara Brown guaranteed, “No, never. I never gave them to your Dad!”
“Then why did Victoria claim it to be true? What is actually going on?”
