Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please! -
Chapter 327 - 327 Why 5
Chapter 327: Why 5 Chapter 327: Why 5 Clara Brown couldn’t help but get angry, “I want to know what the hell is going on!”
“In that case, let’s go ask a lawyer!” Mia Garcia suggested.
Right now, this matter was like a thorn in their hearts, and they wouldn’t be at ease until they knew whether the thorn had been lodged in or not.
The two agreed and quickly met with their family lawyer.
This time, the lawyer gave a definite answer, “Mrs. Garcia, Mr. Garcia did indeed sell your shares using the general power of attorney you provided, complete with your signature and personal seal.”
“Impossible, I clearly never signed or gave him my personal seal!” Clara Brown denied once again.
The lawyer was also helpless, as he was not a police officer and not responsible for solving cases, so he could only suggest, “If you’re unsure about what happened, you should ask Mr. Garcia!”
“Could it be that you two are conspiring!” Clara Brown was almost driven crazy, saying whatever came to her mind.
“Mrs. Garcia, please provide evidence before making such accusations, otherwise it would be defamation, and I have the right to sue.” The lawyer’s face darkened, then he changed the subject, “Given our many years of working together, I won’t mind this matter. If there’s nothing else, I won’t see Mrs. Garcia out.”
It was evident that the lawyer was not pleased with them.
Once Clara Brown and Mia Garcia were kicked out again, their momentum was significantly dampened.
“Mom, what if this is true? What are we going to do?” After the lawyer confirmed that the shares had been entirely sold, Mia Garcia felt empty. It meant their fortune was about to be gone.
Clara Brown was just as worried, feeling a fire burning in her heart and mouth.
“I’m going to ask your father if he really sold my shares. If it is true and he used some trick, I’ll fight him to the end!” Clara Brown’s eyes were bloodshot, and she spoke through gritted teeth.
In the face of financial interests and their recent ordeals, Clara’s feelings toward Terry Garcia had long since changed. She now felt like strangling him with her own hands.
Without delay, even without taking a single bite of food, the two hurried to the prison to meet with Terry Garcia.
When Terry came out, he was much thinner and darker, looking nothing like the CEO he once was. The mother and daughter hardly recognized him.
Similarly, Terry looked at the two of them, both worn and aged.
“What do you want from me?” Terry asked via the phone.
His cold tone made Clara feel as if her heart had turned to ashes. This man was truly heartless and ungrateful.
“I’m asking you, what happened to my shares?” Clara asked directly.
After hearing this, Terry couldn’t help but sigh, and then said, “I sold them. You entrusted me to sell them.”
“You’re talking nonsense! When did I ever entrust you to sell them? What tricks did you use? Why don’t I know anything about it?” Clara had reached the brink of collapse, and her words were hysterical.
Terry did not intend to hide it from her, and said directly, “I put something in your drink, and then you obediently signed and stamped the papers. If you’re upset, you can sue me again. It doesn’t matter, since I’m already in this situation; I don’t care if I have to stay in prison for a few more years!”
As far as Terry was concerned, he didn’t even know if he would live to see the day he walked out of prison.
