Sophie moved with difficulty, walking to the bedside, and took the quilt to wrap Eva’s body tightly.

"I really didn’t expect you to be such a bastard!" Sophie felt a deep sense of despair, Eva was her best friend, so pure, so kind, how could he do such a thing?

"Sophie."

"Don’t come near me!" Sophie stood up in defiance, keeping a distance from him.

"Things aren’t what you think, I was really drunk, I don’t know what happened, when I woke up, she was beside me."

"Enough!" Do I even need to say it? The facts are right in front of us, please leave here immediately now!"

The distance was evident in her body language and tone, Asher knew that no matter what he said now, she wouldn’t listen.

He changed his clothes, and she kept her face turned away, without any eye contact with him.

Sophie looked at Eva on the bed, tears streaming down her face.

Hearing someone call her name, she looked up through tear-blurred eyes, the man in front of her, she felt she had seen him somewhere before, but couldn’t recall at the moment.

"I’m Luke Land, Asher’s second brother, we met in his office."

"What do you want?"

"I know you are Asher’s woman, but you won’t have an outcome, you know?"

Ha, how ridiculous, she knew this well enough, was it worth him coming specially to remind her?

"I know what you mean, you want me to leave him, right?" She gave a cold laugh, "When he’s tired of playing, he’ll naturally let me go, so you don’t have to worry."

"I want you to leave him willingly, you must leave him immediately."
