Chapter 73: IS SHE BECOMING LEWD?

Terrence was busy preparing himself to go. He was staring at his reflection in front of the mirror. He dressed extra special for today.

"Why am I nervous?" Terrence sighed. He couldn’t point out why he was feeling nervous.

Terrence walked back towards the room that he was staying in. It was of decent size. A mini kitchen and a small dining table were set right just after the door. On its far right was a bathroom.

You would see a 2-seat sofa and a coffee table as you walked in further. There was also a king’s bed in the middle of the room and a cabinet right beside it.

Terrence got the room at an affordable price of $270 for a night, which includes a breakfast buffet. He booked this for two days since he planned to stay here until tomorrow.

Terrence took a paper bag from his bed. He made sure that it was properly sealed before returning it to its original pace. It contained the stuffed toy that he had been meaning to give to Natalie.

When the clock struck exactly 8 am, Terrence went down to the hotel’s dining hall. He got to make sure that his money was worth it. And so, he was planning to eat a lot to make that happen.

Terrence was able to have 3 plates for breakfast. It was the biggest breakfast he had in his entire life.

After 2 hours, Natalie messaged him. Terrence went back up to his room to get the paper bag. He also made sure to lock the room well as it contained his things and clothes until tomorrow.

"Hi, Terrence!" Natalie enthusiastically greeted Terrence. There was a big smile on her face as Terrence went inside the car.

"Hi," Terrence greeted back.

Terrence’s eyes immediately flew to Natalie’s face and to her body. Natalie wore a simple makeup for today, highlighting her natural beauty. She wore a tight bodycon dress, showcasing her big mountains and slender body.

Natalie secretly smiled in victory when her eyes saw where Terrence was looking. She wore this intentionally to attract his attention.

"This is for you." Terrence quickly averted his gaze when he noticed that he had been staring at Natalie for so long.

"What’s this?" A smile slowly appeared on Natalie’s lips as she took the paper bag.

"It’s a secret. Open it later once you’re alone." Terrence smiled at Natalie.

"Alright, then." Natalie chuckled. She found it funny and cute at the same time how Terrence was making it mysterious.

Well, it was working since she became curious as hell. But oh well, just like what Terrence instructed him to do, she can only open it when she’s alone.

’Does it have anything sus inside?’ Natalie’s mind flew to the other side. However, she quickly disregarded her thoughts when she realized that it was impossible.

’Oh my, am I becoming lewd?’ Her eyes widened. She wasn’t like this before.

Natalie bit her lower lip. She shook her head.

"Are you okay, Natalie?" Terrence’s forehead creased when Natalie shook her head all of a sudden.

"Yes," Natalie breathed out.

She pouted and just stared at the paper bag on her lap.

Terrence secretly chuckled as he watched Natalie. She looked adorable. She was pouting her lips while looking at the gift that he gave her.

"I’m sorry to disturb you two, but we are here already." James cleared his throat as he watched the two of them in the rearview mirror.

"Oh, is that so, Uncle? I didn’t notice that it was just near." Natalie quickly looked outside.

Terrence also looked the same way as Natalie. He noticed that they were outside a big police station.

The police station was a 2-storey building. Outside the building was the flag representing their country. Their flag has a white background and a golden crown in the middle. There were three stars on top of it. Each star was supposed to symbolize the president, the government officials, and the people.

After parking the car, James left to open the door for both Natalie and Terrence. He had already got used to doing it that way.

Natalie smiled at James. "Thank you, Uncle."

"Thanks," Terrence beamed.

When Terrence looked at the side, their eyes met each other.

"Let’s go, Terrence. My uncle is already waiting." Natalie uttered as she pointed out the main door of the police station. There, Terrence saw Natalie’s uncle. He was wearing a dark blue uniform.

The two of them quickly went to greet Fredrick, Natalie’s uncle.

"Hi there, Natalie and Terrence," Fredrick greeted them. He has a warm smile on his face.

"Hi, Uncle. How are you?" Natalie smiled as she partially hugged Fredrick using one of her arms.

"I’m good," Fredrick answered.

After their hug, Fredrick bumped into Terrence’s fist.

"How’s the investigation going on, Uncle?" Natalie quickly asked as he glanced at the door behind them.

With the question, Fredrick’s smile dropped. He took a deep sigh. These past two days have been tough not only for him but for all the people handling this case.

He tilted his head to the side. "We still don’t have any leads regarding the case," he uttered.

The case had gotten harder ever since it was publicized. The case had gotten more attention, so they were pressured to give updates.

However, the case couldn’t proceed due to insufficient evidence and witnesses.

"I’m glad that you two are here to help with the investigation." Fredrick sincerely uttered.

"We are happy to help you too, Uncle." Natalie smiled as she glanced at Terrence.

"I wasn’t really interested in this before. It was actually Terrence who wanted to go here."

Fredrick’s eyes widened at what he heard. A smile appeared on his lips.

"I didn’t know you were interested in this case."

Terrence slowly nodded. "Yeah. I wanted to find out more about it since I was also a victim." He uttered.

Fredrick slowly nodded. "Should we go inside now?"

Natalie and Terrence shared looks before nodding.

As Fredrick opened the door for them, Terrence looked straight ahead of him.

’Bell of Truth Activate.’
