Terrence looked at the items displayed in front of him. Out of all of them, the ring was the one that appealed to him the most. He thought of getting it with the amount of money he had right now.

The ring would benefit him the most since it was an additional percentage of the money that he would be getting back. What’s more was it was permanent.

Since he got 200% cash back from reaching level 10 and an additional 50% cashback from the Boost Ring, that means he will have a total of 250% cash back for the first 3 purchases he will make each day.

Terrence grinned. He looked at his hands and noticed a faint color of a golden ring in there. There was a green stone in the middle that was slightly glowing up.

’Will others see this?’ Terrence curiously asked.

’That’s good.’ Terrence thought as he brought his hand back down.

Terrence’s forehead creased. ’What do you mean?’

Sighing, Terrence tilted his head to the side. He didn’t believe

anything that the system had said.

Looking at the side, Terrence watched Abigail as she suddenly went inside the room. Abigail was smiling as she greeted Terrence enthusiastically.

"Abigail," Terrence called out Abigail’s name.

Abigail waved her hands in front of Terrence’s face when he called her name.

"What are you doing here? Isn’t it supposed to be your bedtime? You’ll have a long day tomorrow since you will need to pack your things in preparation to move out." Terrence uttered since it was late at night already.

Abigail pouted. "This is my room too, brother! Just because I’m sleeping in Mom and Dad’s room doesn’t mean this room is all yours already!" she complained jokingly.

Terrence chuckled. "I know. Stop pouting. You looked like a duck."

Abigail slapped Terrence’s shoulders. "You’re so mean! I will hide this stuff toy that you bought, Brother." She threatened. It was the main purpose why she went to her brother. To give what they bought earlier.

Terrence continued to laugh. He was not threatened at all, knowing Abigail wouldn’t really do that.

Abigail rolled her eyes. She showed her right hand, which was hidden behind her back earlier. "Here."

Accepting it, Terrence smiled at Abigail. "Thanks."

"I’ll go now, then, Brother," Abigail uttered as she rubbed both of

her eyes using her fingers.

’Have a good night. I’m sleepy already." She yawned after speaking.

"Have a good night too, Abigail," Terrence spoke.

As Abigail left the room, Terrence checked the brown bag. A smile formed on his lips as his eyes stared at the white stuffed toy.

’Will Natalie like this?’ He wondered. It was unusual for him to think of that.

It was already weird that he bought this earlier without thinking.

*Ting

Terrence’s forehead creased when a notification sounded in his room out of a sudden. It was different from what he used to get from the system.

Looking at his phone, Terrence’s eyes widened for a fraction when he saw a message notification from his phone.

’What a coincidence,’ he thought.

It was no other than Natalie.

Terrence placed the stuffed toy down on his bed before getting his phone to check what was the message all about.

[Natalie: Hi Terrence! I saw the application of your sister just now. I’m happy that your sister agreed to it.]

Just by looking at the message, Terrence couldn’t help but sigh. He wasn’t really entirely happy about it.

[Terrence: Yup. How did you know?]

He replied. He was curious if Natalie was the one overlooking the scholarship program.

[Natalie: My dad’s secretary sent me the list. I was looking at it and saw your sister’s name.]

[Terrence: Ohh.]

Terrence looked at his phone when after a few minutes Natalie didn’t reply to his message. ’Is my message too cold?’ he asked himself. But that was the only thing he could reply to what Natalie said.

’Well, it seems like it’s time to sleep now.’

Terrence fixed his pillows before lying down on the bed. He stared at the ceiling for a couple of seconds before a deep sigh escaped from his lips.

He was slightly expecting that Natalie would text him back.

A few minutes had passed and there was still no notification on his phone. Terrence closed his eyes and readied himself to sleep.

He thought of the special mission he had just received. As he fell asleep, Terrence kept on thinking about how he would accomplish that.
