Chapter 67: Hunt

"Well, it is not like I need to have fun in this world. I only need to grow stronger.

The fun will come after I am strong enough to oppress every living being in this world." Tim said, as he took the branch away from Bo’s mouth.

He was disappointed somewhat. It was as if he was expecting the wolf to behave like the domestic dogs that people normally used as pets in his former world.

"I should reach level 10 at the very least before I finish this dungeon. That means that I have to do some farming.

I hate to admit it but, Bo. Your fellow Snow Wolf specie is the best type of farming resource that I need right now. Why don’t you be a good boy and lead me to a place that has a dense concentration of your brothers." Tim said, as he pet his rare predator summon like it was a dog.

Hearing the instruction from its master, Bo lowered its head for Tim, Ottis and Idah to climb on. This was another mission that was given to it. It did not want to disappoint its master so the rare Snow Bane Wolf started another journey towards its previous home.

Surprisingly the wolf was going in the exact same direction that it came from. The same direction where Tim was spawned.

"It seems like we are going back. It is weird because I always thought that whenever one is spawned in an unknown place, the best way to follow is to follow the direction in which one is facing when spawned.

I did not know that the direction does not matter. Or do you have anything to say about that? You are the oldest here so you should have sufficient experience about dungeon directions." Tim asked, as they travelled back to their spawn point.

"The direction of path in a dungeon does not depend on the direction you are facing when you spawn. It is mostly the direction that has the most monsters that is the right path.

So far, we have not even run into up to 10 monsters which is a very weird thing, a dungeon has a minimum of 10 monsters. It also possibly indicates that we are following the wrong path.

Forgive me my King for not divulging this information to you earlier." Idah replied, as he bowed his head in all sincerity.

Tim did not really care about the gestures of his summons. They were forever enslaved to him till he releases their very soul. So, gestures never moved him because he knew that it was beyond their power not to show him enough respect.

"Hmm. The area that has the most monsters. The very first dungeon that I entered had about 6 monsters in total. How is it that the number of monsters were so few.

According to what you said, I should have faced at least 10 monsters within the dungeon, then why did I only face 6 monsters? "Tim asked in all curiosity.

"Apologies my King. I do not have the answer that you are looking for." Idah apologized immediately for his inadequacy.

Tim at the point was already getting tired of the excess amount respect that was given to him, but he just ignored it.

He casted his gaze on Ottis expecting the answer or some sort of answer from his fellow elf.

"I have heard of some dungeons that the occupants of the dungeon feast on themselves for the sole purpose of having fun or to cure boredoms.

My king, these are only speculations and I do not have any means to verify the validity of such rumor." Ottis replied.

"Hmm."

It was really a weird thing because, he also felt that the number of monsters that he faced were quite small. Especially when compared to the dungeons that he read about back when her was still on Earth.

’Hunting themselves. That can be a possibility because I don’t see any other reason why there should be few monsters in a dungeon.

Well, I was lucky that the number of monsters were not much. Live would have been harder for me back then.

Heck, I might even have lost my life again.’ Tim thought.

It was a long journey. Their journey on the Snow Wolf, Bo had literally taken them over 2 hours. They had long passed their spawn point, but they just kept on going deeper and deeper into the snowy forest.

After what seemed like eternity in Tim’s head, they finally found footprints, but the footprints were massive.

"Shit. This does not look like the footprint of wolves. Bo where have you taken us to?" Tim asked the summon, who in turn looked at him and slanted its head a bit.

Just like the way a German Shepard would.

Tim had given the wolf explicit instruction to carry him to a place where his brothers were and that was exactly what it was doing.

The only thing that Bo did not say thanks to its inability to communicate properly with Tim was that the path to find its former pack was filled with serious dangers.

Dangers that the Bo estimated that would not be enough to threaten its master.

Bo looked at Tim with a confused look in its eyes. Tim noticing that he cant really communicate like that with the wolf sighed. How was he going to have a powerful summon that could not communicate properly with its master.

Bo realizing that Tim could not understand its intent. Instinctively shared its emotions with Tim.

The emotions that Bo shared with Tim. Hit Tim nerves and brains, in a way that cold will if one was to dip his legs inside cold water.

If Tim could describe the type of emotion that he was getting from Bo in one word then the word would be Hunt.

Yes, the Rare Snow Bane Wolf only communicated the emotions of when a predator was hunting for a prey and the thrill of it.
