Chapter 66: Defeat

If Idah was not Tim’s loyal servant, then he would have thought that Idah actually wanted him dead. The sword stab caught him off guard, but he was beginning to see while Idah stated that Iron sharpens iron.

From the move that Idah performed. Tim was now sure not to linger on after a strike.

With a large smile, Tim dashed towards Idah and swung his sword from the left and the right consecutively. CLANG CLANG

Each strike of Tim’s sword pushed Idah back little by little.

They continued to clash by exchanging fast sword strikes. Tim obviously had the upper hand, but Idah’s skill covered the gap in strength.

Idah suddenly saw an opening and stabbed towards Tim’s exposed shoulder. Tim quickly sensing this dodged at the last minute, but immediately he dodged the stab strike.

Idah turned the angle of his blade and did a horizontal slash towards Tim.

FOO CLANGG!

Tim was actually pushed back due to the sheer force of the attack. He was the one surprised now. Did Idah’s strike push him back when he had the upper hand in strength.

When he looked towards Idah, he saw the reason for his defeat. Right now, Idah, had covered his sword with aura.

"My King. It seems like you surpass me in physical strength. So, I have to compensate by using my aura to boost the strength of my strikes. I hope you do not mind." Idah said, as he pointed his sword at Tim.

’He is under my control and yet he is so bold. Is it because he retained his personality?’ Tim thought as he accelerated towards Idah.

Entering a stance, Idah released his favourite aura skill, the Sky Piercer.

Tim was suddenly alerted when he saw the wave of aura coming towards him.

He could not wield aura, so his only other option was to grip his sword tightly and swing it towards the coming attack.

BAM!

He was sent flying back, but this time he did not smash into something. Instead, he regained his footing.

"Impressive. This is very impressive. Show me what you got Idah." Tim said, as he dashed once more towards Idah.

This time, his acceleration was a little controlled. He did not want to be helpless if another skill was thrown at him in close range.

Idah, on the other hand did not wait for Tim to reach him. he also accelerated towards Tim with his aura filled blade.

Tim did a rising strike while Idah did a falling strike and the clashed.

CLANG!

Tim gritted his teeth from the sheer fore of their clash. The aura boosted sword was more solid and stronger than what Tim had imagined.

The strength advantage that he had was gone at the moment due to the introduction of aura.

"You have become sluggish my king. "Idah said, as he sent a kick towards Tim’s chest.

The kick at most sent Tim three steps back but Tim recovered almost immediately and dashed towards Idah. He did an open horizontal slash which Idah dodged by simply moving backwards.

As he landed on his feet, he immediately entered his stance and released another Sky Piercer technique at a very close range from Tim.

"Bastard." Tim cursed, as he swung his sword with all his might towards the wave of energy that caught him by surprise.

Once more he was blasted back, but as he landed on his feet. Idah was already in front of him releasing the same Sky Piercer technique.

Tim was not fortunate this time to use all his strength to try and block because his hands were getting numb from the sheer force of the aura infused attacks that Idah was using.

He only used his sword to stop the attack from cutting him into two. BOOM!

Tim this time with all his enhanced stats was smashed towards a tree.

"I am such at a disadvantage, without having any proper sword skills or techniques. It seems like brute force alone is not enough to win a sword battle." Tim said, as he removed the debris from his body.

In front of him already was Idah with his aura pointed sword in front of him.

Tim hated to admit, but this was a defeat for him. Idah was a low level sword master, but it did not matter. He lost fair and square in the battle of swords.

If it was the other way round and it was all of Tim’s arsenal against Idah. Then he was sure that he would have won the battle easily.

" You did well Idah. You have shown me that I am lacking the sword department. Maybe I need to join an academy. Who knows.

I will sort that out when I am done with my temporary mission of clearing the human trafficking gang in this town that I am in.

I can’t just ignore something like that, besides it is free EXP for me." Tim said. As he sheathed his sword.

He looked at Bo, his one and only named summon and smiled. The wolf was huge. Freaking huge. He could already imagine people’s reaction if he brought a pet as huge as the wolf back to his home planet.

"Bo come here." Tim instructed.

The wolf speedily got up and went to stand in front of Tim. It was waiting for its order, but Tim just wanted to pet it.

"I have never had a pet before. But having a pet seems to be interesting. At least that was what people said. * He said, as he picked up a broken branch. * You see this. * Tim said, as he waved the branch in front of the wolf. * Fetch" Tim said, as he threw the branch with all his might.

FOO

Immediately Trim gave the instruction, Bo’s eyes were highlighted with blue which signified its boost in speed.

Immediately it accelerated out of Tim’s vicinity. To Tim, he was trying to play with the 2 meter tall wolf. But to the wolf it was a do or die mission given to it by its source of life.

It had to fulfil the mission.

5 seconds later Bo came back with the branch in its mouth.

Seeing the seriousness in the wolf’s face. Tim sighed "I don’t think this wolf would be a suitable pet."
