Necromancer Supreme: I Can Use All The Skills Of My Summons -
Chapter 68: Mystic Lion I
Chapter 68: Mystic Lion I
"You want to hunt. Or we are on the hunt? Heck, it does not matter. What matters now is for me to level up. With my current strength now, I should be able to take care of Zou.
But if I want to take care of his guild members then I have to get stronger. I feel that something interesting is going to be unlocked at level 10." Tim said.
His only audience were his summons, so he did not even consider himself crazy. He truly needed some sort of communication. Even if he was a nerd, he was not a deep nerd that disregarded communication.
ROARRRRR!
Tim instinctively covered his ears the moment that he heard the roar that sounded within their vicinity.
"That was loud. It almost sounded like the exact roar that a lion would give back on Earth. Except that this roar is far my loud than the roar of Earth lions."
Getting down from Bo, he unsheathed his sword. To be brief. The days of Tim using a thorn to fight were over. Now he wanted to focus and build his personal skills with the use of a sword.
Seeing Tim’s descent from the wolf Ottis and Idah followed suite.
"My king from the size and pattern of the footprints that we are seeing, then this footprint must belong to the Mystic Lion." Ottis dropped the information this time.
"Ughh? Mystic Lion. What is a mystic lion?" Tim replied.
He had not even spent up to a month in his new body. There was no way that he would know all the details of every possible monster.
His only best bet in knowing the type of monster that he faces, is if he kills the monster. That way his system would alert him of the type of specie that he killed.
"A Mystic Lion. Is a predator that roams the 1 Star Dungeons. They are commonly found in the Red Zone Dungeons. There main source of attack is their flame breadth.
Their Flame Breadth is by far one of the most dangerous attack that had been witnessed within a 1 Star Dungeon.
Weak point is their heart, which is hard to target simply because of the location of the heart.
They can also die by killing them normally, but the most effective way to kill them is to damage or destroy their heart." Ottis informed.
Hearing the strength and weaknesses of the Mystic Lion. Tim was eager about one thing. It was the possibility of having a fire breeding undead as a summon.
With what he had been hearing, he was starting to prefer monsters to intelligent beings for source of strength, but he quickly dispelled the idea.
Intelligent beings would always be his first choice. Also, if the monster happened to be intelligent just Bo was then he had no problem.
ROARRRR!
The loud noise occurred once again which made Tim frown.
"All they are doing is roaring. Why are they not coming to attack." Tim complained. Hs body was itching now for a battle.
He had a collection to fill.
"They are territorial beasts, so they are probably warning us not to step into their territory." Ottis replied.
"Ugh? They are warning us? Are they not predators? Why would they just warn us and not attack? This is taking away the fun from my booming battle lust."
Looking at his 2 meter tall predator wolf, he smiled. He had Bo by his side. Why then would he be scared about some lions that shoot flames from their mouth.
"Bo take me to the lions." Tim instructed.
Immediately Bo heard the instruction, Bo howled loudly. Tim did not know what the howling meant, but one thing that he knew for sure was that the lions were coming.
How did he know? It was simple.
Immediately after Bo howled. Tim could feel the vibrations and hear heavy footsteps sprinting his way.
His heart was beating fast with excitement. This was another battle. The last battle he allowed Bo to participate in the battle alone, but this time he was the only one that was going to participate in the battle.
He turned to his right and saw that Bo was growling with hate in his eyes. It seemed like there was a rivalry between the Snow Wolves and the Mystic Lions. But Tim did not care about such rivary.
Right now, he wanted to add to his collection of undead, and at the same time test his new strength.
"Stand Down Bo. You have had your fun. This prey belongs to me this time." Tim said, as he placed his hand on the wolf’s head to calm him down.
It happened. The Mystic Lions finally reached Tim’s location. There were 3 Mystic Lions in number, but Tim could feel the amount of threat that they possessed.
There mere presence was making Tim’s body want to flee, but Tim’s mind wanted something else. He wanted the taste of battle.
The two opposing party faced themselves and did nothing for a short while. The lions had their gaze mainly on Bo and they were uninterested in Tim.
His presence was overlooked by them, because he was considered a bottom chain prey, and honestly Tim could not blame them.
His body possessed no single trace of mana. He just looked like a normal elf with a nicely toned muscle. Nothing about him stood out or exuded power.
He was like a nobody to the eyes of the strong.
Seeing that he was being ignored. Tim decided to start the assault. Using his currently active Death Embrace skill. He tapped into the spells and skills of his reserve undead and casted his Fireball and Wind Strike spell.
But unlike the normal behaviour of the spell. Instead of it to shoot forward and locate the target. It hovered around Tim.
Later on, the wind and the fire stretched out and started to rotate at a fast pace around Tim’s sword.
Tim had never been to a magic school even with the memories of the previous owner, but Tim was applying high concept magic thanks to accumulated magic experience that he was temporarily burrowing from his undead reserve.
