Chapter 53: Zou

The trio left the black market with a goal in mind, to find a dungeon. Tim on the other hand did not know much about the so called dungeons.

All he knew was that he probably died on a tree and woke up in a low level dungeon. Who ever that threw him inside the dungeon must have been really cruel. But there was no way for him to find them.

So, he left the matter alone. It was not worth it to be finding the person or group that threw him into a low level dungeon, when he had little information to use to begin his search.

Idah led the way once more. They walked towards the north of the town. In the north of there present town laid, the Monster Hall.

In the hall, different missions are assigned to hunters, mages and sages that are ready to partake in it. Also in that building where Dungeon Seekers, selling information about dungeons or giving out missions for others to partake in.

’This place practically looks like the adventures hall in most books. They bare a lot of similarities. I wonder if there are guilds here also.’ Tim thought.

Immediately after his thought. The trio were stopped by a massive looking man that had equipped his body with battle gears. From the look of it. It did not take Tim much time to figure out that the man in front of him was a sage.

In a bold voice he spoke "My name is Zou. I am the captain of the Dawn keepers guild. I see that the three of you came here to find something, but I have taken interest in you three.

Especially you * Zou said, as he pointed at Tim. * It seems like you have what it takes to be a member of my team. Even from the mere look of your gear, I can say that you are battle tested.

I am inviting you three to join my guild."

Tim sighed. Just as he thought about guilds someone came to stress him out by inviting them to a guild. Honestly of he wanted to join a guild then he would not join a good in a small town like this.

He would have preferred to join a guild in a major capital and not one that was from a weaker town. He also had no interest of sorts in joining a guild.

With his abilities, he was a one man army. Why would he need the help of guild. If he wanted, in the future he could wipe out an entire guild and make them members of his own guild.

He did not need a guild.

" I have to respectfully decline your offer. We are not looking to join any guild right now. We have other pressing matters to attend to. Thank you." Tim said, as he tried to leave the presence of Zou.

Thankfully he was wearing the cloak and had its hoodie up. He did not fully cover himself with the cloak, that was why Zou saw his gear, but the major reason why Tim bought the cloak had started to serve its purpose.

Right now, he was faced with Zou and he did not recognize his hair color. That was a major win for him because he knew the amount of attention that he got because of his royal blood.

’The robe is working just fine. They don’t seem to notice that I am a royal elf. Well more like an ex-royal elf. That kingdom is truly going to regret disowning me like that.’ Tim thought.

Zou stopped ibn Tim’s front once more. "Boy I was not joking when I said that I want to invite you to my guild. I am on the verge of breaking through into the second star of a battle sage, so I will protect you if you join my group."

Tim was starting to get annoyed at this point. He likened Zou to all those online ads that just kept popping up no matter the number of times that they were closed.

Seeing the frustration that was building up on Tim’s face. Idah steeped up with his hand on his sword "We will not join your guild, and nothing you do can make us join you. We do not need you, we do not need weaklings."

The people that were watching the event unfold had shock in their eyes when Idah called Zou and his guild weaklings. Even Tim was shocked.

Zou’s guild members quickly gathered around Zou. They were 8 in numbers including Zou. They were also well equipped in battle gears which just indicated to Tim that they also were battle prepared.

But none of that really mattered to Tim.

"Why don’t you repeat what you just said about my guild being weaklings. I would love to hear you say that again." Zou said, staring Idah straight in the eye.

Idah in turn looked at Tim to get an approval of sorts, but Tim shook his head horizontally which just indicated to Idah that he should not engage.

Idah saw Tim’s response and remained silent. Since he was told not to engage then he would not engage.

"That is what I thought. Little man listen to your small master.

Now you have made me lose my appetite. You have to compensate me for all the wrong that you have done to me, including the loss that happened to my guild members." Zou demanded, with a devious smile.

Tim sighed once again. All he wanted to do was to live a quite live and level up in peace. Really there was or should be nothing wrong with him levelling up in peace.

’Why does this world want to take away my peace. I just got into this world and I am just being hit with different problems each day.’ Tim whined in his head. It was really tiring.

Tim nodded at Idah, giving him permission to compensate them. The money that they had were the funds that were from trafficking, so Tim did not really mind.
