Sigma’s body rapidly expanded, surpassing two meters in height. Taking on too many thoughts at once made him unable to resist letting out a wail.

A blast of hot air hit his face, and Wayne squinted his eyes.

Wayne’s fist itched, every muscle in his body trembling. The hexagram took shape, the Essence of Life underwent transformation, he chose to trust his instincts, winding up his fist and unleashing physical magic.

Two forces collided like arrows released from their bows, fists met, the air exploded, the loud noise made the surrounding bushes tremble.

Wayne stepped back several paces, creating deep pits under his feet to dissipate the force, while Sigma, maintaining his punching stance, shifted back several meters, leaving two trails in the lawn of the garden.

He looked at Wayne in surprise, his eyes filled with disbelief, muttering the impossibility, that it was utterly impossible for a human. The shock in his eyes turned to anger, and with a roar of hot breath, he charged again.

Wayne swung his fists hard with no intention of dodging or using any fighting techniques. He needed to familiarize himself with his strength quickly, to understand his limits at his peak.

The two figures shattered the corridor wall, fighting from the garden into the grand church interior, an office with five desks and numerous filing cabinets.

A big and a small, two beasts that knew only brute force collided, recklessly destroying the office, shattering the desks and sending documents flying in every direction.

Sigma pushed his abilities to the limit, summoning strength from countless others. His physical strength had long surpassed human limits, tirelessly swinging his fists, surrounded by rising hot air, his figure becoming increasingly vague.

Fists fell like rain, and amidst the pain, Wayne felt pleasure.

He was right, the formation of the hexagram, the transformation of the Essence of Life, was a beginning, not an end. Waiting in place wouldn’t uncover his limits, only by pressing the attack could he become ever-stronger through adversity.

Ten minutes later, Wayne and Sigma were tearing through the fourth office.

Sigma, driven insane by excruciating pain, breathing rapidly and erratically, kept throwing punches as powerful as ever, though his footwork was nowhere as nimble as it had been.

Wayne grew stronger as the fight progressed, touching his peak. Watching the rapidly approaching figure, he stood calmly, side-stepping the oncoming punch, his left toe tapped the ground, his body swung in a half-circle, and his straight right leg shot out.

The kick was heavy and sharp, the sound of his trousers whooshing was like a giant black python hissing as it lunged straight for Sigma’s vulnerable neck.

The head was Sigma’s fatal weakness, completely out of proportion with his robust limbs and torso, especially his neck which, though thickened, still appeared weak and comical in comparison.

The heavy kick came crashing in, Sigma too slow to dodge, hastily raised his arm to block.

With a bang, his arm, pressed hard against his face, his body uncontrollably flew out.

Another loud noise, office walls collapsed, Sigma flew out the corridor, landing in front of the storage.

The blood-stained body was covered in dust, black and white spots everywhere, a buzzing in his ears, trembling, he staggered to his feet.

His face flickered rapidly, his powers on the verge of collapse, shaking his head to clear the grogginess, he tried hard to focus on finding Wayne’s figure.

"Don’t bother looking, I’m behind you."

Wayne advanced with quick steps, shattering the earth beneath him. As Sigma turned around, Wayne leapt into the air, his knee crashing heavily against his opponent’s face.

With a crack of breaking bone, Sigma was launched into the air, his ’delicate’ neck stretched out violently.

Sigma fell to the ground, spitting out blood with ragged breaths, his chaotic breathing beyond control, relying on sheer will to prevent his powers from collapsing.

Supporting himself on the ground, he slowly got up.

Wayne squinted his eyes, rejecting an offered champagne, his heavy hook punch struck Sigma in the left abdomen.

Just warming up, he’ll drink later!

Wayne took another step forward, and with a powerful side-arm blow, his fist drew a sharp arc, crashing heavily into Sigma’s face. As he toppled backward, Wayne followed with quick steps, grabbing his slanting body and with momentum flipped it onto the ground.

Combo triggered!

Grabbing Sigma’s ankle, Wayne lifted it, elbowing his thigh before cradling the thick leg and throwing it far away.

Quickly leaning forward, Sigma staggered to his feet, bloodied from continuous left and right hooks, only to be flipped again by a knee to the chest.
