Chapter 194: Chapter 116: Fist to Flesh, Hexagram Converges

People differ in constitution.

Keith, Julian, and others were unable to resist Sigma’s power, becoming puppets under his control, and Wayne felt only noise.

The Ancient God was noisy too, but at least it didn’t create a fuss, and its voice sounded magnetic, and it really made sense.

Not like Sigma, a whole renovation team working in a cesspool, the drill buzzing, flies buzzing along, muddling the mind with their clamor.

Shut up!

No, that’s not a mouth, that’s a cesspool, close the cesspool!

Wayne, with a fierce look in his eyes, gauged his punch and hit Sigma square in the face. As Sigma hit the ground, Wayne’s bent knees suddenly snapped straight, shattering the ground beneath him as he leaped forward.

Boom!

At that moment, Sigma fell heavily to the ground, bounced lightly, and drifted midair.

The heavy and powerful knee strike, like a cannonball, roared toward him, hitting Sigma’s chest with a muffled sound of breaking bones and caving chest cavity.

Sigma was like a car hitting at high speed. His body bent, and he flew backward more than ten meters, striking a large tree in the garden, causing the treetop to rustle loudly.

Wayne didn’t give him time to react. He rushed up in a few quick steps, his fists swinging continuously, all striking his chest.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

With the sound of a drum, blood spurted from Sigma’s mouth like it cost nothing, shooting all around, a good deal landing on Wayne’s fists and face.

Sigma’s face flickered rapidly, much like a display screen, unable to stabilize due to the successive and intense impacts.

Wayne didn’t understand Sigma’s Immortal Body. It didn’t matter. Nothing was truly immortal in this world; not even his Vest System, the Death Knight, was an exception.

Sigma’s Immortal Body was merely supported by a special ability. Deplete his energy, force him to show his health bar, and he’d have only death to face.

Wayne’s arms swirled like the wind, his speed increasing, the friction with the air producing a hissing sound.

This was the first time he’d let loose using his own physical strength. Previous constraints had somewhat marred the fun, and the joy of full release intoxicated him, the four points representing the Essence of Life throbbing fiercely.

The Hexagram connected into a line: Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Void, Self, the lines fitting together as one.

It wasn’t over yet. The six points of light connected again, tracing a hexagonal pattern outside the Hexagram.

Wayne, lost in his punching, didn’t notice these details, only aware that power surged endlessly from within him, digging deeper and growing mightier. His fists, wrapped in flames, damaged Sigma’s flesh with intense force, followed by a secondary attack by the Fire Element.

In a corner of the garden, flesh and blood flew in all directions, a complete mess.

Sigma tried to fight back, but each time he raised his arm, the caving of his chest and intense pain forced him to give up. The tree he leaned on had bent to its limits, and with Wayne’s punch piercing his chest, hitting the tree trunk, the great tree broke in half with a crack.

This tree had a long history at Saint Dominic Cathedral, planted by a Cardinal from Heavenly Father’s Court in Windsor before their influence waned.

The Cardinal became Pope ten years later, and the tree rose with the tide, acquiring an even more extraordinary significance.

Crack!

Wayne’s punch went through Sigma’s chest, the surging power within him making him eager to vent, pressing Sigma’s face into the ground, he gathered his breath for another flurry of punches.

This time, he wouldn’t punch the tree, but the ground instead.

Sigma was like a rag, rubbed against the floor. His life force was extremely tenacious; dying a hundred times, he still refused to die.

What was once his proud ability now became Wayne’s greatest aid in tormenting him. With trembling fingers, he traced an Inverted Pentagram Magic Array on the ground.

The palm-sized Magic Array took Sigma fifteen seconds to complete, expending a great deal of life force.

Black light surged, and Wayne was lifted by the dark glow, flipping in midair to land gracefully, reeling back several steps before stopping.

His fists itching, his muscles cheering, he couldn’t wait to have another go.

By then, Wayne noticed the Hexagram inside him had taken complete shape, not while reading a book, or writing a diary, but while swinging his fists in a brawl.

"Indeed, Mages and muscles go well together..."

Wayne thought he’d be thrilled when the Hexagram finally took shape after waiting for many days, but when the moment came, he didn’t feel overly excited, his heart calm.

He took a deep breath and eyed the Black Robe on Sigma. On his bloodstained face, the word ’greed’ was clearly written.

The chest was smashed, no, pierced, but the Black Robe remained intact, not even stained with blood... that was clearly the one he had misplaced before.

No wonder he’d never found it; this kid had stolen it.

Damn it, he must reclaim what was his today!

Sigma stood up, clutching his chest in disbelief, wanting to say something, but could only cough repeatedly.

"Can’t even take a beating, and you call yourself a minion of the Devil, go to Hell!"

Wayne’s smile was ferocious, his leaping muscles making it unbearable, he couldn’t wait to lunge at Sigma again.

Sigma was in utter disarray, dying hundreds of times, unable to maintain sanity with such intense pain, fearing he’d fall back into passively getting beaten. The faces on his face shifted rapidly, merging into one.

A face not particularly handsome, but undeniably charismatic.

His deep and shining eyes radiated intelligence, his dense and long eyebrows like two Knight’s Swords, guarding his subdued thoughts and emotions.
