Chapter 1275: Chapter 430 Hexuno: Frey, You Are Not Pure!_3

Angels are nothing but hypocrites who turn their backs after pulling up their pants!

Not just Michael, but other angels as well—the Windsor Family, Bourbon Family, Romanov Family, and other royal or imperial families that once ruled the entire God-chosen Continent—all bear Heaven’s bloodline.

And what was the result?

Either they ended up on the execution platform, or exiled abroad.

The Windsor Family fared a bit better, but they still couldn’t escape the suppression of the Papal State.

Let’s be clear, the Papal State is their own people. If anyone up above had simply said, "Do me a favor," the Papal State wouldn’t dare act recklessly.

Juno poured out her grievances, rambling on for quite a while, only to see Wayne unmoved. Feeling exasperated, she said, "I’m so beautiful, not to mention I have an equally handsome fiancé, and yet I’m a defeated princess. I really don’t know what you’re thinking. If it were someone else, Alisa and I would’ve already had kids by now."

"Our Lando Family always respects the royal family!"

"Austin does not!"

"I... have no way to refute that."

Wayne sighed deeply. The Lando Family had produced such a disgrace; he could only watch helplessly, feeling utterly ashamed.

"I’ve said all there is to say. I, Edward, am not particularly passionate about reclaiming royal power. I was dragged back to Lundan by Uriel, but as for my mother... she might hold some expectations." Juno remarked.

Wayne nodded, having guessed the Queen’s response. He feigned helplessness and reluctance, but in reality, he held high hopes for Uriel.

Having spent half a lifetime as the Queen, and then suddenly becoming a puppet—no one could tolerate such a turn of events.

But the Queen wasn’t stupid; she knew what failure would mean. Once she had Buckingham Palace and fine local French cuisine; in the future, it would likely be a basement and plain millet porridge. If that’s the alternative, she’d rather continue being a puppet!

Uriel was using the Queen, but the Queen was also using Uriel. If it worked, great; if not, she was simply forced into it.

"Alright, I understand your point. I’ll give you my word: the conflict is limited to me and Uriel; it won’t involve the Windsor Family." Wayne said with a smile.

"If you think this way, that would be just perfect."

Juno nodded repeatedly and muttered to herself. See? Wayne might be unreasonable, but he’s reasonable after all. Alisa doesn’t believe this; she insists it’s bias.

"Anyway, it’s almost noon. I’ve provided such critical intelligence—inviting me to lunch isn’t too much to ask, right?" Juno batted her eyes.

"Aren’t you all about ascending to Heaven? Why are you still lusting after my body?" Wayne asked, puzzled.

"You’re the Archangel. If I don’t take you, how will I ascend to Heaven? Without you, how could I progress even after ascending to Heaven?" Juno retorted.

True enough!

Wayne slapped his forehead. He almost forgot his role as the Archangel.

"Hmph, shameless!"

The office door swung open. The Walking Lust entered with frost etched on her face and cold, indifferent eyes locked onto Juno, making the latter swallow nervously.

"Gulp!" x2

Wait, why were there two gulps?

Juno turned to Wayne, who calmly explained, "One gulp represents your fear of her; the other represents your dirty thoughts about her. Since you didn’t express the second one outright, I added a sound effect for you. Now both ideas are conveyed."

Well, thank you very much!

Juno nodded timidly as she stood up, her usually eloquent tongue failing under Heya’s intimidating gaze.

The Walking Lust indeed had a seductive figure—standard "angelic face, devilish body." She didn’t need to do anything; just standing there would evoke vivid imaginations. Yet in terms of temperament, she carried an undeniable majesty, with a fiery temper and an uncompromising nature. Juno was genuinely afraid of her.

"Wayne, that’s it for now. I’m leaving."

Juno sheepishly avoided Heya, and before exiting, politely closed the door behind her.

"Heya, why are you back from the Papal State?" Wayne gestured, inviting Heya to sit down for a discussion.

Heya seated herself in front of the desk, her expression softening noticeably after noting the absence of the pesky little Bichi.

She erected a soundproof barrier and frowned, "Archangel, it’s one thing for you to have unclear ties with that nun, but what’s with that woman just now?"

Heya had encountered Juno by Wayne’s side twice now, her dislike of her pronounced. She continued, "She’s deliberately approaching you with ulterior motives. She intends to sully your purity. If my guess is correct, this must be a task assigned by Archangel Michael."

You’re overthinking it—Michael wouldn’t stoop to such trivial schemes, nor would the Vice-Regent of the Kingdom of Heaven disgrace himself.

"That makes sense. Michael is capable of all kinds of misdeeds; he might actually stoop to this. I’ll keep my distance from Juno and never allow her to taint my purity." Wayne said with a solemn nod.

Heya’s face brightened when she saw her leader’s willingness to listen, but then darkened once more as she said, "Archangel, I brought back crucial intel from the Papal State. The last two reincarnated angels have gone missing; after investigating, I found out that before their disappearance, they received orders from Archangel Uriel."

"Mhm, I know. They’re both in Lundan."

Wayne nodded to himself—so the last two reincarnated angels were here. He was familiar with both Archibald and Kel. He wondered whether these two had awakened yet.

Especially Kel—Wayne was quite curious. Who was this person in Heaven? How much grievance had he endured to become so warped after reincarnating?

With so much shady history, it seemed highly likely he hadn’t awakened yet. And if he had, he’d probably pretend to stay dormant.

"Archangel, you already knew?"

Heya exclaimed in surprise, suddenly remembering something. She stood up and slightly bent over, accidentally knocking over the pen holder on the desk.

"Sorry, it wasn’t intentional." Heya apologized, picking up the pen holder and returning the office supplies to their original places.

Wayne glanced over and felt puzzled for a moment before explaining, "Juno is the undercover agent I planted next to the reincarnated angels. The intel came from her. You overlooked this bit of setup. Next time, show her more respect—she’s proven herself to be a contributor."
