Chapter 1077: Chapter 380 Divine Realm_4

The cosmos can no longer be described as dark and murky. Upon revisiting her old haunts, the Dark Goddess discovered a universe enshrouded in chaos, coated in a pallid hue.

Only the periphery of the cosmos remained dark, the rest filled with a pale fog.

Closer inspection revealed that the fog consisted of droplets, each a bubble of white foam, with the Four Elements abundant and proliferating at a staggering rate.

Stared down by the Great Eyeball, the Dark Goddess promptly averted her gaze.

Idinis watched Wayne’s figure silently, a pure Void Lifeform with the potential of an Ancient God. It was less an evolution and more a reclaiming of his original state.

Clearly, this was impossible. Ancient Gods do not fall, let alone reincarnate as humans...

What exactly was going on?

Boom!

A thunderous explosion interrupted Idenis’s thoughts. Glancing sideways, she saw the swirling vortex of a baleful eye as a towering figure descended slowly.

A God, majestic as a mountain, stood atop the storm’s pinnacle, back against the ocean of Thunder, his figure robust and his limbs stout and powerful, as though forged by storm and thunder, his skin gleaming with a metallic luster.

A casual step shook the earth and thunder roared with his advance.

Storms and Thunder God—Set.

His evolution manifested as a Giant.

Set towered over ten meters tall, his golden hair danced without wind.

Bare-chested, his broad torso and muscles rolled like hills, every inch of his metallically hard skin etched with Mysterious Runes.

Behind him, the Thunder Robe transformed into a pair of wings patterned with lightning—Crown of Glory.

In his hand, the Blade of the Hunt conjured raging wind and waves—the Blade of the Hunt.

Set: Crown of Glory (Thunder Robe), Blade of the Hunt (Storm Axe).

Sarosia: Exceptional Praise (Lightning Spear), Immortal Treasures (Hurricane Armor).

Both wield the same Laws information, yet their interpretation and use differed, resulting in vastly different manifestations of Divine Artifacts.

"Sarosia!"

Though massive, Set had the handsome face of a striking man. He frowned at his old rival and said, "You dead fish actually turned over..."

"You’ve become smarter!"

Set piercingly pointed out Sarosia’s biggest weakness—talented and capable but hot-headed and gullible, hardly a worthy opponent.

More than Sarosia, Set was concerned about Wayne.

He had imposed restrictions on the Divine Realm, but Wayne ignored them, usurping his laws and world foundation at a fundamental level.

Laws were secondary, merely duplicates, but the world’s foundation, the Four Elements, were hard to collect. Set hadn’t much in stock, only able to establish the Divine Realm thanks to the Dark Church’s storeroom catching fire. He couldn’t allow Wayne to mess around.

Set considered Wayne his prime target, took a large stride forward, raised the Blade of the Hunt, and the Storm Axe, surrounded by endless wind waves, cleaved through space towards Wayne.

Idinis, pale with fright, threw herself into Wayne’s arms whimpering for protection.

Boom!

Lightning flashed, and Set was blown away by a scorching white light, heavily crashing into the Divine Realm’s soil, raising a cloud of dust skyward.

Sarosia beckoned slightly, the spear turned into electricity and returned to her hand; she looked coldly at her fallen adversary, conveyed an apologetic Telepathic Transmission to Wayne for his shock, then transformed into a hurricane and charged down.

The earth trembled, thunder and storms moved in tandem, lightning and hurricanes entwined and collided, two figures battling at speeds indiscernible to the naked eye.

Wayne pushed away the tearful Goddess of Tea in his arms and embraced Anastasia’s slender waist, entrusting her with the security of his embrace.

The same old saying, with the Holy Maiden of the Dark Church, who needs the Dark Goddess of the Dark Church?

"Roar roar roar—"

With the fierceness of a dragon’s roar, Set cleaved apart the obstructing Sarosia with his axe, his eyes blazing with fire: "Madwoman, if you die, I die, we’re both losers in the war of faith, hatred can be put aside for the moment, the newcomer is our real adversary, if he commands the law, we have no future at all."

"I have found the future!"

Sarosia’s eyes exuded a pale light, her body slowly swelled, morphing into a ten-meter-tall Faceless One.

Her figure, flowing gracefully, possessed the elegance of a female form, and her silhouette was nearly flawless, worthy of an exclamation of awe.

But not so for her face, covered with pale, creased veins, looking like layers upon layers of proliferating tissue, behind her head, her hair turned into a bunch of dancing tentacles, draping over her shoulders, down to her waist.

Exceptional Praise and Immortal Treasures sized up and clothed together.

Set was dumbstruck by her bizarre appearance: "Sarosia, have you gone mad, taking the path of the Void? What about your pursuit of elves?"

The faceless visage of Sarosia split open with a white line, her mouth’s upper and lower lips connected by copious amounts of foam, resembling suture threads: "Elves cannot grant me godhood, the Void can. I have devoted everything to the great master, he will guide my way forward."

Set was stunned for a moment before laughing heartily: "You’ve become a slave to someone, fine, fine, fine, it’s worth waking up after so many years of slumber just to see your downfall."

"You fool, you’ve only recently died!"

"Madwoman, are you so foolish you can’t even remember the time?"

Set scoffed: "I had just defeated you before dying in the war of faith, vanquished by the hand of Heaven. Do you understand now!"

"So that’s how it is, it’s the arrangement of the master!" Sarosia nodded secretly, deeply moved.

Faith didn’t elucidate the truth about Set’s death, altering his memory to believe he fell in the war of faith, all to give her a fair fight, and the chance to personally avenge her defeat.

Idinis: (눈_눈)

Not good!

She had overestimated Sarosia; that fool had taken it for the truth.
