Chapter 237: It’s time for Vengeance!
Grey looked straight at the dark sky glittering with stars with a silent gaze; there was a long way to the peak of the Mountain of Hell.
However, with two Diamond Grimoires in his arsenal and the ability to summon Drayken and the others at any time, there was no need to worry for him.
It is safe to say that he has become one of the strongest in this world already, or he would have to fight the strong to know if there was someone who could compete with him.
Also, he had no comparison to the strong in this world, which also made it difficult for him to know his own actual strength as well.
The only limitation he could think of was his body. When he summoned Drayken and the others, their power was simply terrifying, and his body couldn’t endure it.
After all, he was only connecting their souls, his body remained the same.
This made things very troublesome, even with enough spiritual energy.
"But I need to save her right now." His heart pounded as a bad premonition surged within him.
Maybe Lucy had gotten into trouble again, or perhaps they were doing something to her.
Grey’s fist tightened as he gritted his teeth.
"It’s time for vengeance."
With that, he descended the Mountain of Hell. He might return another time, but for now, it was time to plunge the world into chaos.
To let the world know the terrifying consequence of trying to harm his friend!
His blue pupils flickered beneath the starlit sky, his fist tightening as he descended the mountain in silence.

The cold morning wind rustled past a cloaked man, traveling down an untraveled road.
He threaded through the rugged terrain in silence.
Just then, up ahead, the sound of shouts mixed with the unmistakable stench of blood reached his senses. He paused, then followed the noise and scent.
Soon, his eyes fell upon a group of travelers under fierce attack by bandits.
Two had already fallen, and only two remained, struggling to defend themselves with their Grimoires. However, the bandits were too many, and five of the bandits still wielded Grimoires of their own.
It didn’t look good for the travelers.
At that moment, a grimoire materialized in front of him, its cover shaped like a fox. The cloaked man slowly raised his quill pen and began to write:
"All will succumb to trance."
An invisible wave spread outward. Caught off guard, everyone was struck by it.
The bandits collapsed to the ground one by one with a dull thud. Among the five Grimoire users, only one remained standing, protected by a strange barrier that nullified the attack.
The two Grimoire-wielding travelers looked at the cloaked man, their eyes filled with gratitude. One of them called out:
"Thank you, my friend."
The cloaked man didn’t reply. He turned to the last remaining bandit and spoke in a deep, rough voice:
"How do you wish to die?"
"Hmph." The bandit sneered. "Do you think your Bronze Grimoire can do anything? Just because you caught everyone off guard doesn’t mean you can do it again."
The cloaked man remained silent.
Instead, another Grimoire emerged from his body, oozing with darkness.
The moment it appeared, the very fabric of space seemed to distort—as if the world itself was about to collapse.
The bandit stared at it with wide, blinking eyes, struggling to process what he was seeing. Tremblingly, he stammered:
"A-a Diamond-level Grimoire..."
"Yeah," the man mumbled, then quickly wrote a simple sentence in the Grimoire:
"Void Prison shall claim your soul."
Eerie darkness began to pulse outward from him, spreading like ink in water. The surrounding space warped into a dome of shadows, enclosing all the bandits within.
Then, horrifying screams rang out from the dome-
"Ahhhh!"
The two travelers looked at each other, a chill running down their spines. One of them muttered:
"Isn’t this a little overkill?"
"Yeah, definitely a little overkill," the other replied.
They both fell silent as the cloaked man approached. The void domain finally vanished, leaving nothing behind, only emptiness and desolation. Not even the Bandits’ remains were left, all engulfed in the void.
Every bandit had been wiped off the face of the planet.
It was a truly terrifying sight, one that drew cold breaths.
The man walked up to the travelers step by step, removing his hoodie to reveal a cold, emotionless face with piercing blue eyes and golden hair fluttering in the wind. His tone was cold and deep:
"Do you know where the Celestria Kingdom is?"
"Y-yes," one of them hurriedly replied. "In fact, we are going there."
"Show me the way, then."
The cloaked spoke coldly and boarded the carriage without another word.
The two glanced at each other and smiled bitterly.
When Grey entered the carriage, he found a gentle young lady sitting inside, her wide eyes fixed on him as he walked in and sat down like he owned the place.
"Hey, who are you?" the young lady frowned, about to shout.
"Shut up," Grey said coldly. Though only two words, they carried a chill that froze her heart. She immediately fell silent.
He looked behind him and said:
"Start the carriage and head to the capital of the Celestria Kingdom."
"Y-yes."
In utter confusion, the carriage started, and they arrived at the capital city of the Celestria Kingdom in just a day.
The capital was a vibrant and crowded place, surrounded by towering walls that enclosed the entire city.
Grey smashed the door open and stepped out, gazing at the city in silence.
"Hey, you brute! I know you saved us, but at least say thank you for the free ride," the young lady shouted from inside.
Grey completely ignored her as a Grimoire hovered in front of him.
"May the flame lift me up."
Beneath the ground, fire burned fiercely, causing a chunk of earth to separate. Grey soared directly into the air, propelled by the burning platform.
"This Kingdom will know my wrath."
