My SSS-Rank Clone Talent: I Level Up Endlessly!
Chapter 238: Causing Chaos!?

Chapter 238: Causing Chaos!?

It was early morning, and the shops in the Celestria Kingdom were finally opening. The entire kingdom buzzed with activity.

People walked to and fro, their footsteps echoing through the cobbled streets.

Children’s laughter rang out as they played, while street vendors loudly hawked their goods.

The capital was alive, bustling and vibrant.

High above, Grey hovered silently in the sky, his eyes squinting slightly as he took in the scene below.

These people, they weren’t his enemies. And Grey would never harm them.

No, he absolutely refused to hurt any of these individuals. The ones he was about to strike were—

His gaze shifted into the distance.

Soldiers were flying towards him, using their Grimoires, some standing on platforms like Grey’s, others with glowing wings sprouting from their backs from their Grimoires.

Either way, they were all flying and quickly closing in on him.

Watching all of them, Grey was completely expressionless. A Grimoire came out of his body, and he raised his quill pen to write in it.

"Let there be acid rain."

Swish!

The sky grew cloudy, and green water started to fall from the sky, all honing in on the soldiers.

"Hmph." One of the soldiers sneered and wrote in his Grimoire.

A barrier erupted that perfectly shielded them from all the acid rain swiftly.

Grey wrote in the Fox Grimoire:

"Let the blue flames burn my enemies."

Then, the next moment, terrifying blue flames erupted, trying to burn the shield that protected them.

The air discombobulated from the sheer temperature in the air.

"This Fox Grimoire is quite strong despite being only a Bronze rank." Grey narrowed his eyes. Maybe if there was an opportunity, he could help her reach the next tier.

With him being a Master-rank Book Tamer, it wasn’t that hard to let the Bronze Grimoire reach the Silver Grimoire.

Anyway, the blue flames had a terrifying effect but, in the end, couldn’t break the shields.

The soldiers immediately attacked him without mercy.

A gigantic fireball rose in front of them, giant weapons of steel shot through the air, the surroundings became frigid, curses and hexes descended upon him.

Grey looked at this calmly. There were many Grimoires in his arsenal; however, these soldiers, to his absolute surprise, were actually high-tier disciples, and some of them were at the same level as him, Masters.

If he fought conventionally, it would only be a waste of time, and his spiritual energy might be exhausted as well for further fights, so he did the most logical thing. Grey called out:

"Lilith."

A bright red light flashed, and Lilith appeared in front of him, flipping her pages for him rapidly.

Grey wrote a single sentence.

Bang!

A terrifying pressure erupted outwards. The soldiers, who were watching in glee, thinking that Grey would be obliterated, faced the terrifying suppression, and all their attacks instantly vanished.

Their pupils went wide with terror as they looked at the horrifying monster behind Grey.

"Mother, look up! What’s that?" a little girl called out, tugging on her mother’s sleeve, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "It’s a giant monster, like in the stories!"

"What are you talking about, dear?" the mother replied with a weary smile. "I’ve already told you, those things aren’t real..." She looked up and her words caught in her throat.

Her eyes froze, her face turned pale as she whispered, "Monster..."

High above, a faint image of a white-scaled dragon soared through the sky. Its majestic wings stretched wide, as though they could summon wind and thunder at will.

The sheer size of the creature seemed to blanket the heavens.

Everyone below was left stunned, their hearts gripped by terror, almost scared senseless by the overwhelming presence of the beast.

And the soldiers who stood against the dragon?

Under the mere presence of Drayken, an oppressive pressure weighed down on them, making it hard to even breathe.

A thin strand of lightning crackled through the air, striking without warning. In an instant, the soldiers were electrocuted mid-air, their bodies convulsing before falling toward the earth, one by one, as gravity claimed them.

Unconscious.

Their Grimoires rendered them completely useless.

Grey sneered and surged forward through the sky, cutting through the wind at high speed.

Drayken followed closely behind, a silent storm in his wake.

Grey’s eyes locked onto the royal palace at the heart of the capital. It was massive, monumental, spanning nearly a fourth of the entire city.

As he closed in, two terrifying presences suddenly flared.

"Who are you?"

Two old men suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking his path. Their eyes narrowed with caution, especially when they caught sight of the white dragon hovering behind him.

"Two High-tier Masters?" Grey raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. Though he was technically a low-tier Master, he knew these two stood no chance against him, even without Drayken.

Fear flickered in the old men’s eyes as they glanced back at the creature behind Grey. One of them hesitantly stepped forward and repeated, voice tight with unease:

"Who... are you?"

Grey looked at them calmly and replied in a deep, hoarse voice, a voice that seemed to crawl into their very souls:

"I am Grey."

The moment the name echoed through the air, both old men froze. A shiver ran down their spines, and cold sweat drenched their backs.

"Y-you’re... Grey..."

Of course, the two had heard of the infamous rising genius who was able to tame a Diamond Grimoire, and they had kidnapped the princess because of this as well.

The two looked at the unmistakable presence of a Master Book Tamer and were too shocked in their hearts to remain calm.

"You have already reached the Master Book Tamer?"

Grey didn’t reply to them, his pupils glued to the royal palace below:

"Tell me where Lucy is?"

"Lucy?" The old man tried to flash a smile. "Please don’t worry about her safety. She is the princess of our kingdom, how could we dare to harm her?"

"Really?" Grey asked with a neutral voice, a voice so icy that it felt like it could cause the temperature itself to turn morbid:

"I don’t believe it."

Drayken behind him was about to make a movement, and the two high-tier Masters were instantly horrified. Just then, a loud shout filled with authority came from inside the palace:

"Stop."
