While his explanation made sense, it didn’t stop Wen Ran from thinking he was amazing: "I don’t care, I still think you’re awesome. Spending twenty coins wasn’t a waste since we got a toy out of it."

He chuckled indulgently: "As long as you like it, that’s all that matters."

Wen Ran looked at the rabbit in her hands with fondness and sincerely sighed: "This rabbit is truly adorable."

Fu Chenlie watched her satisfied expression and felt as if a certain part of his heart was completely filled.

He spoke instinctively: "It is cute, but it can’t compare to Mrs. Fu."

She froze for a moment, then turned to him with a smile: "You used to have such a sharp tongue, but now you can deliver compliments so effortlessly. This change is honestly surprising."

He shrugged lightly: "Really?"

Wen Ran nodded solemnly.

Fu Chenlie smiled: "Want to keep playing?"

"No, I’ve already gotten the toy I like. If I keep playing, I’d just be throwing money away."

"Alright, how about we check out the first floor?"

She nodded: "Sounds good."

As she spoke, she held the rabbit toy in one hand and proactively reached for Fu Chenlie’s hand with the other, heading toward the escalator.

He replied: "Both look good."

Wen Ran held the scarves up to herself for comparison: "Which one looks better on me?"
