Chapter 56: Livid Madwoman

The livid Aunt Ruo rushed out of the shopping mall with a face that would make a baby cry. She was accompanied by the other sister in laws of hers, exiting the revolving door of the shopping mall while Li YingYi had entered the shopping mall with his friend wrapping his arms around his shoulder. He turned his face, briefly narrowing his eyes as he saw the old woman he knew named, Mrs Ruo. He knew it well as she is part of the Hua Family— the family who his brother despise to blood.

As he walked forward he saw his other friends who was waving his way toward Li YingYi with a grin, "Hey hey young master! You look so dark! Why? Did you step on a nasty object or something? It’s been a while and you’re treating us like this? Where have you been? Don’t you know how much we have missed you?"

"Yeah you’re not fun YingYi, is it your brother again? Why does he never give you a slack?" Asked the friend who circled his arm around his shoulders.

Li YingYi frowned and pushed away his friend’s arm from his shoulder, "Stop talking about my brother. He cares for me, you know." The two friends gave a look to each other upon his words and wondered why Li YingYi would still defend his brother after complaining about his brother being too strict.

Though living with a perfectionist like Li ZiChen must have been difficult growing up, so his friends understood him well.

"Anyway let’s stop talking about him," Li YingYi pouted. Everything was terrible to him. As someone who always boast and proud around about his older brother, Li YingYi was always the most upset when he fought with Li ZiChen. To the point that nothing could gather him back to his feet. He would have cooped up in his apartment if not his friends begging him to go out.

Feeling unfair, he began to vent, "He was mad at me you know! Even though I was just worried about his condition. An older brother can admonish his younger one and the younger have to listen to his brother’s warnings at all time. But why is it when I warn him, he gets mad at me instead?"

"Awww, young master is sad because his brother got mad at you? Is it because he never scolds you often that’s why you get even more upset? That bruise on your face must be caused by him."

"Hmph," Li YingYi pushed his friends and stepped away with anger, "Anyway you guys saw that madwoman?"

The two friends looked at each other, "Madwoman?"

"Yeah, Mrs Ruo, that ugly woman who always hold grudges on people. I saw her stepping out as if she was going to feast on someone’s flesh, disgusting just to think about it," spat Li YingYi who was still annoyed.

"Ah that’s because she was embarrassing her niece as always. You know right? How she hates her own niece," said his friend which Li YingYi have recalled to heard before but he was the type who wouldn’t care about someone else’s business unless that person is his close friend.

Close friend. Thinking about it again made Li YingYi upset as he recalled Mei Hua crying to him on the phone saying how his brother had shoved her out of the car because she mentioned Jiang AiLin’s name. A ghost. A ghost! And now his brother is with that living ghost!

Thinking about it made him even more upset and his friends could see it. Trying to lift his mood, the same friend continued his story, "I saw earlier that there was another woman. She stood up for the niece and put up quite a show! I saw with my own eyes how embarrassed Mrs Ruo became and could only flee with her tail tuck behind her legs. It’s so funny! Worth of watch!"

Li YingYi raised his eyebrows, "Who would do that? I would understand if I do that but would there be someone so foolish to help the niece of Mrs Ruo? That madwoman bites like a rabid mutt. When she gets offended she made sure she gets her revenge to innocent people."

This was the truth. While everyone always dislike Mrs Ruo and she’s known to be the number one person to avoid the most amongst the socialites of Beijing, only a few people could actually clap back at Mrs Ruo without fearing that they would anger the sleeping tiger. Those people are the ones in the Hua Family themselves and his brother, along with him and his parents. It was hard to imagine that there would be anyone else strong enough to withstand the wrath of Mrs Ruo.

Li YingYi was curious if the woman had done it to curry favor from the youngest daughter of Hua Family by saving her from a plight or just a fool who didn’t know who she had messed with.

"Well I don’t see her face clearly but you’re right. That woman must have felt annoyed seeing Mrs Ruo without knowing who Mrs Ruo is," said the friend with a shake of his head, "What a pity. And she was so gorgeous. She also had this drop dead body, oh my god, I can’t express you how erotic she was just by standing! She had these gaze— like a Queen who reign above others. Remembering it again makes me drool."

"Huh? Ew," Li YingYi pinched his nose in cringe, "What the hell are you talking about you horny dog. This is why my brother always dislike you two. Your comments will one day dig your own graves!"

Just as Li YingYi was walking forward, he passed by a chair on the mall’s lounge only to have his eyes widened when he saw the woman sitting on it. He quickly shoved his friends and ran toward the chair that were only sat with one person. Upon coming closer, he felt shivers running down his spine as he realized that the person in front of him is really the "Jiang AiLin" he saw earlier in his brother’s house!

"You. Why are you here?!"

AiLin was minding her business. After being left alone when Vicky left, she thought again of her next plan as she wanted to continue her tactics. Right when she was making up her plan, she heard a loud gasp echoing from behind her, like someone who had seen her death and saw her resurrected again.

She snapped her head behind her, finding Li YingYi’s face, who bore so many similarities to Li ZiChen, staring at her wide eyed.

They both looked at each other in shock as it seemed fate had caused them to meet each other sooner than before.

But AiLin was quite worried as Li YingYi seemed the least happiest to see her face.. considering what had transpired during their first meeting, she couldn’t really blame him..
