Chapter 1039: 1024, Jue and Zhan’s Couple Extra (23) Chapter 1039: 1024, Jue and Zhan’s Couple Extra (23) This answer satisfied Bai Jue very much.

He flipped the covers off and lay on the bed, then stretched out his iron arm and pulled someone into his embrace, “Sleep!”

“I can’t sleep,” Zhan Mingyan tilted her head up to look at him, her eyes devoid of any hint of sleepiness.

Bai Jue’s lips curled into a smile, his well-defined hand sliding in from the hem of the shirt, “If you can’t sleep, why don’t we warm up the things we should do on our wedding night in advance?”

His cool fingertips touched her skin, causing her to shiver slightly.

Zhan Mingyan grabbed his hand, a touch of embarrassment crossing her eyes, “You’re such a hooligan!”

“So, are you going to sleep or not?” Bai Jue asked, baiting her.

What a strange thing to say.

Zhan Mingyan pulled his hand out and yawned, “I’m sleepy now, don’t disturb my sleep.”

After saying that, she turned over, buried under the covers, and played ostrich.

Bai Jue hadn’t really planned on doing anything to her; he was just scaring her.

Before she realized it, Zhan Mingyan had fallen asleep in a daze.

Bai Jue leaned down to kiss her forehead and then got out of bed with careful movements.

He pulled out a black trench coat from the wardrobe, putting it on as he walked out.

In the dead of night, the white sports car sped down the highway.

The old factory was guarded by two men in black at the entrance.

“Squeak—”

The car stopped at the entrance, and the guards, recognizing the license plate number, approached.

“Young Master Bai!”

Bai Jue swung the car door closed and casually put on his gloves.

“Is everything ready?”

“All ready, inside,” one of the men said.

Bai Jue pushed the door and walked in. Inside the vast old factory, only a small light bulb emitted a faint glow.

The man in black following Bai Jue pressed a button on the wall, and instantly, the factory brightened up a bit.

Lou xin was tied to a chair, just as she had tied up Zhan Mingyan before.

At the sound of footsteps, she raised her head and met with a pair of icy eyes, a chill crawling up her spine.

“What do you want to do?”

Bai Jue glanced at her disdainfully and then spread his hands. His companion handed him the whip with understanding.

“Young Master Bai, the bottle of medicine powder you provided has been sprinkled into this bucket of water,” the man in black brought over a bucket of water, colorless and tasteless, yet strangely alarming.

Lou xin gazed at the whip in Bai Jue’s hands, thicker than a thumb and tipped with spikes, her eyes wide with terror.

“What do you want to do, I tell you, our Lou Family in Beijing is an aristocratic family, if you dare to touch me, I will never let you go,” she threatened.

Bai Jue sneered contemptuously, then swung his large hand and dipped the end of the whip into the water.

A few men in black took the hint and retreated to stand aside.

“Who gave you the courage to touch my woman?” His voice was cold as frost, filled with intense malice as if coming from the depths of Hell Abyss.

“Crack—”

“Ahh—”

The whip struck her face harshly, Lou xin’s eyes filled with blood vessels, and cold sweat immediately drenched the bangs on her forehead.

On her fair cheek, a long whip mark split the skin open, reaching to her mouth, deep enough to see the bone.

Lou Xin’s expression was blurred by pain, her lips trembling, “Please, please, let me go, I was wrong, I won’t dare again.”

Bai Jue ignored her pleas and swung another lash down.

“Ah!”

Lou Xin threw back her head and howled, another whip mark stamped onto her left cheek, now aligning the wounds on both cheeks.

Her face, her face was ruined.

She stomped her feet in agitation, her eyes bloodshot as she glared at Bai Jue.

“You madman, let me go, let me go, what kind of man are you to hit a woman…”

She spat out a stream of obscenities non-stop, but Bai Jue remained calm and collected, casually swinging his whip and landing it precisely on her body.

Once, twice…

Again and again, too many to count.

Bai Jue had good medical skills and deliberately chose non-fatal spots to strike, yet even so, Lou Xin, as a woman, couldn’t bear it.

Her expensive dress was torn with slits, the white gown almost dyed red, barely covering her body, leaving her feeling a chill with every breeze.

Bai Jue dropped the whip, “Pour water.”

Before she could catch her breath, Lou Xin heard Bai Jue’s words, struggled to open her eyes and saw the man in black approaching with a bucket, she cried out wailing, “Don’t, please let me go, I know I was wrong, I apologize.”

The man in black held the bucket with an emotionless expression, then tossed the water over her.

The icy water touching her blood-stained wounds made Lou Xin ache so much she couldn’t breathe, her voice stuck in her throat, unable to come out.

“This bucket of water, I had someone add something special, three hours later you’ll feel the itch on your wounds becoming unbearable, you’ll scratch continuously until you’re dead,” Bai Jue explained slowly as he took off his gloves.

Lou Xin’s pupils dilated, she frantically writhed, trying to shake the water off.

“For these three hours, just stay here and keep them company,” Bai Jue glanced at the three men about to awaken, a faint smirk on his lips.

“After three hours, make those three men incapable of being men ever again, then send all four of them back to the snake pit at your headquarters,” he said succinctly.

That meant castrating them.

“Understood,” the man in black nodded, getting the message.

Bai Jue glanced at his watch, his little Spitfire should be waking up soon.

He dropped his gloves and quickly left.

The door, covered in cobwebs and dust, closed, blocking even a sliver of moonlight from entering.

Soon after, the space inside filled with mournful cries.

With Bai Jue’s care, Zhan Mingyan’s injuries healed quickly, the swelling on her face went down in no more than two days.

“That crazy woman must have a screw loose, it’s her own problem if people don’t like her, and she went and troubled you. If she fell into my hands, I’d make sure she’d never recover,” Xiya said through gritted teeth, looking at the bruises on Zhan Mingyan’s arm that hadn’t yet faded.

Zhan Mingyan smiled helplessly, “Just my bad luck.”

“By the way, do you know how Bai Jue dealt with them?” Xiya glanced up at the floor above, leaning close to share a secret.

“I asked him once; he said he chopped them up and fed them to the dogs,” Zhan Mingyan said, instantly recognizing it as a joke.

What she heard was that the Lou Family went bankrupt overnight and disappeared from Beijing within a few days, supposedly moving to another city.

“That’s the light version,” Xiya shuddered at the thought of what Jian Qing had told her.

Zhan Mingyan grew curious, “What do you mean? Did Bai Jue do something else?”

“Bai Jue tortured them, even turned those men into eunuchs, and then dumped them along with that madwoman Lou Xin into the snake pit,” Xiya whispered softly.

On hearing this, Zhan Mingyan was startled but did not find Bai Jue’s actions cruel.

She knew that Bai Jue did all of this for her, knowing that if he hadn’t arrived in time, she would have been the one destroyed.
