Chapter 1537: Phantom Walker

Chapter 1537: Chapter 1537: Phantom Walker

A flash of dark golden light, followed by the dark golden glow fading into a small, dim light.

Phantom Walker

Grade: Dark Gold Legend

Armor: 356

Strength: 88

Agility: 86

Endurance: 85

Dark Damage: 15%

Phantom Walker: In non-combat state, donning the hood allows the wearer to walk in the Shadow Realm, with stealth level +1

Flash Movement: Capable of blinking between different shadows without breaking stealth, with the frequency of movement judged based on the wearer’s agility and dark attributes.

Shadow Shaping: Shadows, based on the speed of blink movement and the intensity of spiritual power, realistic phantoms may appear behind the wearer, each capable of absorbing 10% of the damage directed at the original form. Shaping, these phantoms are controlled by the original, initiating with 20% of the original’s attack power. For every additional shadow beyond three, each shadow gains an extra 5% of the original’s attack power, while the original gains an additional 3% attack power, and the original is able to swap places with these combined shadows.

Equipment Level: 53

Equipment Requirements: Dark Elite profession, Race-level Boss or above, Agility 1000.

The audience could only see the added attributes and the equipment requirements listed; the specific effects were invisible to them. Yet even so, the audience knew that this was undoubtedly an extraordinary cloak.

Why? Let’s not talk about the attributes, just the increase of 15% to Dark Damage alone is a very impressive attribute for Dark professions.

Now, most elite professions have their own inherent attributes, and only by coupling them with the corresponding skill attribute bonuses can they deal the respective damage.

An increase of 15%, and it’s not a special effect, but a fixed attribute, this is definitely a huge and special win. In any game, attack attributes are still the most useful, bar none.

And look at the requirements for this piece of equipment. Let’s set aside the level requirement, it’s understandable that the equipment level for the main storyline dungeons is a bit higher.

Dark profession is not a big deal either, this is a cloak for Dark professions after all.

But what the hell is Race-level Boss? Currently, only top players have reached the Boss level, and among these top players, those who have become mid-level bosses are few and far between, while hardly any have become high-level bosses, which can be counted on one hand.

As for becoming a Race-level Boss, there’s no one other than Li Yao.

An Agility of one thousand is also a very restrictive condition. Unless Agility is treated as the primary attribute, other professions can hardly meet this requirement.

It’s as if this equipment was specially crafted for Li Yao, and players have also summarized an experience: the stricter the equipment conditions, the more incredible the attributes will be, and the three special effects are bound to be monstrous.

"This is simply the ultimate cloak for a rogue," the enchantress’s eyes sparkled with fervor, what a pity that even if it were gifted to her, she couldn’t equip it.

"This cloak seems to be made for the Cat Druids," Li Yao said as he directly swapped out his cloak and then put on the hood. His figure instantly disappeared from everyone’s sight. Even the members of the Starfire Team could only see faint outlines. This was the first special effect, Phantom Walker, which enhances stealth level, merging the body into the Shadow Realm. At this moment, Li Yao’s stealth level was no less formidable than the experts who specialized in stealth. Keep in mind, his stealth level had already been elevated in the Magma Fortress. Now with another boost, it had reached an incredibly high level.

Then, everyone saw Li Yao’s outline flickering in and out of everyone’s shadows. This was Flash Move, the ability to move between different shadows.

However, then everyone realized there were many outlines of Li Yao appearing, with more than six or seven outlines appearing behind the crowd. Even the members of the Starfire Team couldn’t distinguish which one was the real Li Yao.

Li Yao loosened the hood and nodded with satisfaction: "Not bad, very good. I reckon I don’t need to worry about replacing it upon graduation."

"This is definitely of Little Artifact level, we’ve hit the jackpot this time," the Enchantress sighed.

The Guardian Angel felt most disappointed. It wasn’t that she didn’t want Li Yao to get good things, but it was just too embarrassing. One managed to get a Shadow Pet, another got a Little Artifact Cloak, showing the power of these cards. And what about herself? A handful of silver coins.

Let alone the other team members, even the Guardian Angel herself couldn’t help but want to slap herself a few times, feeling such heartache.

With this cloak, Li Yao was truly like a tiger growing wings, the three special effects making him nearly invincible – and it wasn’t just about how much combat power was added.

"System: Based on the comprehensive evaluation, the Starfire Team leader can receive three Madman’s Knowledge points, the deputy leader two, and every team member one. The second reward can be chosen from the following options. 1, an Enhancement Protection Jade for each member (usable on weapons and equipment of level 12+). 2, an SS-tier card for each member. 3, a chance to obtain a random Guild Mount."

Madman’s Knowledge, once used, lets players learn secondary professions and skills more easily, engage with NPCs more easily, acquire rare items and equipment more easily, discover hidden enemies and treasure chests more easily, and perceive the true nature of this world more clearly. The higher the level of Madman’s Knowledge, the greater the bonuses.

Every three levels of Madman rank will advance a stage. While enjoying the bonuses, monsters, and NPCs will reveal their true nature, gaining stronger and more innate abilities.

Madman Knowledge points can be used to purchase some special rare items.

Madman’s Knowledge: The more you know, the more you uncover the horrors of this world.

"System Announcement: The emergence of the Madman’s Knowledge. Killing race-level bosses, special absorption bosses, and completing corresponding tasks can now yield Madman’s Knowledge. Madman’s Shop is open, for more information please check the official website."

A random Guild Mount can be obtained by spinning the wheel, which can randomly select from creatures like the Hammer Dragon, Black Horned Dragon, Crowned Dragon, and Dazzling Bird.

After drawing, each member of the Starfire Team can receive Race-level Guild Mount Reins. Starfire Team members can also spend a corresponding amount of Gold Coins and materials to exchange for Silver Glory level up to high-level Boss Mount Reins.

"This Madman’s Knowledge seems pretty awesome, so many bonuses," Tung Tung excitedly said.

Sister Li frowned: "I guess the monsters and NPCs will become even trickier to deal with."

"Exactly, knowing the nature of the ancient gods, the greater the temptation, the greater the danger. I always feel that there’s more to this," Feng Yi also mentioned.

Sister Li spoke slowly: "I seem to have read it in a book. After obtaining the Madman’s Knowledge, besides the various bonuses, the NPCs you come into contact with are incredibly intelligent. And the monsters will have additional attack methods. For example, a normally mediocre monster might develop skills only magical creatures have. Once you level up, you’ll find that ordinary monsters become more terrifying than Warcafts, and those Warcafts equally fearsome."

Wow...

If ordinary monsters become more terrifying than Warcafts, wouldn’t that make the Warcafts even more ferocious than the most horrible bosses?

The Starfire Team members who initially intended to use the Madman’s Knowledge are now hesitant – the bonuses are tempting, but with the current uncertainty, they don’t dare to be reckless...
