Chapter 1227: Chapter One Thousand Two Hundred and Ten: Behold My Invincible Divine Legs
Rafael took off the jersey he had worn over his clothes, tucked his scarf away, and smiled at Gao Yang, saying, “Take off your jersey. We’re leaving.”
Gao Yang and Yelena removed their jerseys, and both followed Rafael as they separated from the crowd and walked out of the parking lot.
The remaining 200 or so people also left on foot, splitting into groups of three to five, heading off in different directions. Some fans had come in their own cars, some had rented buses, and of course, there were those who used public transportation like trains, so leaving on foot wasn’t unusual.
As they walked in the direction away from the stadium, police officers kept following behind. But as the crowd continued to disperse, the police escorting them finally turned back.
After seeing the police leave, Rafael curled his fingers, placed them by his mouth, and blew a loud whistle. Immediately, a dozen or so ordinary-looking pedestrians from the roadside started approaching them.
Rafael waved excitedly, then said to Gao Yang and Yelena, “The team’s fight is over, and we’ve won a big victory. But the fans’ battle hasn’t even started yet! Boss, watch closely—we’ll win the fans’ battle too!”
Gao Yang froze for a moment before suddenly realizing what was happening. “F**k! You’re football hooligans!”
Rafael said sheepishly, “Don’t put it like that. We’re the most loyal fans. We defend Palermo’s dignity everywhere we go.”
Gao Yang sighed helplessly. “Come on, football hooliganism is football hooliganism. You’re obviously out to start trouble. Defending dignity and deliberately picking fights are two very different things, aren’t they?”
Rafael shrugged and said, “Whatever, call it what you want. Boss, are you coming with us? Yelena’s here too. Shouldn’t you take her and stay farther away?”
Yelena’s face lit up with excitement as she loudly exclaimed, “I’m not leaving! Darling, you’ll protect me, won’t you?”
Gao Yang spread his hands and chuckled, “Of course. How could I miss out on this? Let’s go. Uh, should we put our jerseys back on to announce ourselves?”
“No, not yet. Let’s wait until the larger group has gathered.”
The group near Gao Yang grew to more than a dozen people, and they began walking along the road, gradually picking up pace.
Rafael strode ahead energetically, clearly demonstrating he was ready to cause trouble. As they marched quickly, Rafael said with fiery determination, “Boss, you just came from Rome, right? Watch what happens. When Palermo returns to Serie A and plays Lazio, I’m definitely going to Rome for revenge.”
Gao Yang asked curiously, “What, are Palermo and Lazio arch-enemies?”
“No, the teams aren’t, but the fans are. The Palermo North Stand Soul and Lazio’s Incorrigible Faction have bad blood. Last time in Rome, I was beaten so badly by the Incorrigible Faction that I ended up in the hospital. That caused me to miss out and nearly lose my chance to join Satan—you remember that, don’t you?”
With Rafael’s reminder, Gao Yang recalled the time when Nate Schumacher had recommended Rafael to him. They had arranged to meet, but Rafael hadn’t shown up, only later revealing he’d been hospitalized after the beating.
Still resentful, Rafael added, “I lost out big time that one time, and the consequences were serious. After that, I didn’t even get a chance to join Palermo for any away matches. This grudge has gone unavenged all this time. Just wait—I’ll get my revenge.”
The feud between the two football hooligan groups left Gao Yang speechless. The Incorrigible Faction is globally notorious as an extreme football hooligan group. Meanwhile, Palermo… well, Sicily’s most famous export is the Mafia. It’s a classic clash of titans: hooligans versus hooligans.
Gao Yang followed Rafael to a street corner, where they finally stopped walking. Not far away, there were many people dressed in Pescara’s blue jerseys, while small groups loitered scattered around the nearby area.
After waiting for less than two minutes, Gao Yang saw a man named Filet storming over, flanked by a group of more than twenty people.
Approaching Rafael, Filet shouted, “Did everyone gather?”
“Almost,” Rafael replied.
“Then let’s get started. Jerseys on!”
They had first dispersed, moving inconspicuously in plain clothes to get out of police surveillance. Now, assembled again, Gao Yang was impressed. Even football hooligans employed tactics for organizing fights.
Rafael blew another sharp whistle, and the scattered groups started moving toward each other while pulling out flashes of pink from their belongings.
Gao Yang glanced at Yelena, who was visibly ecstatic. She held up her pink jersey, looking expectantly at Gao Yang.
“Women of the Fighting Nation, truly…”
After muttering under his breath, Gao Yang retrieved his jersey from his pocket. Yelena let out an enthusiastic cheer before immediately pulling her pink jersey on.
The gathering crowd quickly transformed its color, morphing into a unified group resembling a flock of flamingos.
On the street, several dozen people in blue jerseys spotted the sudden wave of pink and wasted no time rushing toward them.
The pink-jerseyed crowd moved in harmony—all reached out their right hands, raising four fingers in unison, then roared in a single, thunderous voice, “Four to one!”
Dropping their hands, Rafael bellowed loud enough to echo across the street. More than a hundred people charged forward. The frontmost individuals kicked out simultaneously, knocking down the blue-jerseyed opponents before pouncing on them for a hearty beatdown.
While Rafael wasn’t known as a combat expert within Satan’s circle, it was all relative. He had received prolonged, professional combat training, after all.
It was evident Rafael was holding back. He didn’t use advanced fighting techniques during the fan brawl. After swiftly knocking down one opposing fan, Rafael stopped and shouted to Filet, “Are these guys with Eagles of Pescara?”
“Only a few of them here—definitely not!” Filet responded.
“Drag them aside! Let’s move!” Rafael ordered.
Nobody went in for the kill. They simply dragged the ten or so Pescara fans to the roadside and left them there on the ground before marching forward with their crowd of 200-plus people.
Rafael called out to Gao Yang, “Our opponents are called Eagles of Pescara. This is their turf. They even have a bar nearby where they gather!”
Before Rafael had finished speaking, people started pouring out of a nearby bar. Clearly, word had already spread that troublemakers had arrived at their doorstep.
The Palermo North Stand Soul advanced, while Eagles of Pescara began forming ranks. Yet Gao Yang noticed their numbers seemed far greater than his side’s.
It was their home turf, after all—Pescara fans were sure to outnumber them. At about 30 meters apart, Rafael let out a ferocious roar, and the crowd surged forward, colliding in an explosive melee.
“Too bad Li Jinfang’s not here—what a shame!”
Gao Yang thought this was exactly the kind of scene Li Jinfang would thrive in. Yet Gao himself didn’t join the chaotic clash; instead, he held Yelena’s hand and stayed near the edge.
Though there were more fans in blue than in pink, the latter group proved to be remarkably combative, quickly scattering the blue jerseys into disarray.
A fan brawl is what it is—a chaotic free-for-all. Fists, kicks, and beer bottles flew through the air. Those who got knocked down tried to shield their heads while being stomped relentlessly. The chaos was wildly entertaining to watch.
Gao Yang stood aside, observing like a spectator. But he wasn’t left in peace for long—no more than twenty seconds before two Pescara supporters spotted him.
A fan in his twenties wearing a blue jersey ran up. Upon noticing Yelena’s presence, he hesitated for a moment but still threw a punch at Gao Yang.
Gao Yang didn’t bother dodging or even letting go of Yelena’s hand. A swift kick sent the young man flying.
A groin kick—Gao Yang was now a master of this move. Afraid of football hooligans? That’d be a joke.
Though the kick looked brutal, the young man wasn’t seriously hurt. It was just a brawl, not a kill-or-be-killed fight; Gao Yang avoided crippling the guy, opting to kick his thigh and send him sprawling.
Where there’s one, there’s always more. Two more fans charged at Gao Yang, but he didn’t even release Yelena’s hand. Two quick kicks sent both of them down.
Yelena’s eyes were glowing as she began screaming—not out of fear but sheer exhilaration. After shouting twice, she kissed Gao Yang passionately, then screamed, “K.O.! That was amazing! Your kicks are as handsome as your shooting—you’re driving me crazy! Watch out!”
Without even looking up, Gao Yang delivered another kick, intentionally aiming for flair this time. He struck the unlucky guy in the chest, sending him flying backward even though he had held back considerably.
At that moment, another fan rushed in, clearly drunk. Unlike the previous hooligans, this one brazenly attempted to smash a beer bottle over Yelena’s head.
Attacking Yelena? That was crossing the line! Gao Yang grew furious, and the consequence would be severe—the groin kick returned in full force.
A shriek pierced through the air, echoing across the streets.
The poor guy had the privilege of experiencing Gao Yang’s groin kick mastery firsthand. The aftermath was utterly catastrophic—painful to watch, unspeakably pitiful.
The fan wailed as if slaughtered, bringing the entire clash to a halt. Everyone, from both sides, turned to look at the guy screaming in agony with his hands clutching his groin.
In all honesty, Gao Yang had been merciful. He had intentionally restrained his power, ensuring the fan wasn’t permanently harmed. While the groin kick was indeed real, the “crippling” part was exaggerated. After all, the ability to scream meant the damage wasn’t too severe.
Seeing the blue jerseys sprawled around Gao Yang and noticing the pink-jerseyed figure at his side, at least a dozen more fans rushed toward him.
Gao Yang looked at Yelena and smiled. “You enjoying the show? Okay, then watch carefully!” (To be continued. If you enjoy this story, please visit Qidian.com to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users can read on m.qidian.com.)
