Chapter 525: Mysterious Potion

Navy Headquarters, Navy Fort.

In the barracks, situated right at the border of the island, where the waves of the World Sea crashed against the rocks.

Young and innocent navy soldiers watched the goings-on of the God Island through a television in the common room area.

“Lord Stroud… Why do you think he is working alongside Pirate Immortal? We’ve been told stories about him, and they all paint him as the worst person possible.”

An innocent-looking navy soldier said, her voice filled with fear and concern for the safety of God Island’s citizens.

Since she was just a small child, she’d been dreaming of being the knight of justice and making sure that no evil would happen.

With the white coat of the navy wrapped around his shoulders, the barracks supervisor didn’t know what to answer to the question of the young navy soldier.

While he had never met the Fleet Admiral, as his navy rank didn’t allow him to, he knew that he was a man of justice.

So it didn’t surprise him that he was in God Island, protecting the innocent, but he was shocked that he was working alongside the Pirate Immortal.

If those two were forced to work together, who in the hell was the stranger then?

In the cafe of Blessed Street, beautifully-dressed women were gathered around a table, watching through a small television.

It was a television that could fit inside a backpack.

“What a horrible sight…”

A young maiden fanned herself with a hand-held fan, trying to create a breeze that would push the heat away.

“Martial Order… Did I hear that correctly? What could that be? Are three of them in some kind of same organization?

“It’s strange that the Fleet Admiral and the greatest evil of the sea are working together.”

Her friend said.

With a shocked expression, Azura Moreno looked at the television, and when she saw the three figures, she couldn’t believe it.

‘Martial Order… It can’t be a coincidence. I know that Revenant asked for help in God Island, and Imperio, one of the Grandmasters, went to help him.

‘Imperio… Imperius Rex. It must be him and the two other… The staff-wielding older fellow must be the Old King, and Hero Among Rulers is the Fleet Admiral of the Navy?

‘I had no idea that I was part of the organization that included so many legendary figures!’

At that moment, her phone buzzed in her purse, and when she took it out, she saw that her master was calling her.

“I have to take this; I am sorry.”

She apologized to her friends with a bow, opened the balcony door, and stepped outside to answer the call.

“Master?”

She said.

“Are you watching the God Island broadcast?”

Amara asked.

“Yes… Martial Order, is it really them?”

“Indeed, they must be. The grandmasters of the Martial Order have finally revealed themselves to the world.

“It means the lives that we have been living will also change. We must prepare for the new world that is coming.”

Her master said.

“I understand…”

Azura said.

The call ended, and she slowly realized the weight of her new responsibilities.

It made her both excited and nervous, as she didn’t know what the future really held for her and master.

In a shop of herbs and flowers, Amara sat in the middle of the shop that looked like a greenhouse.

The vines of the plants ran up the walls, across the ceiling, and across the floor—the flowers bloomed on them and the scent of rosemary and lavender filled the air.

A large boiling cauldron stood in the middle of the shop. It had something bubbling inside. And it smelled like a sweet, spicy soup.

At that moment, the door of her shop opened up, and a well-dressed young man walked in with a smile on his face.

When he saw Amara, he fixed the collar of his overcoat and cleared his throat to not accidentally voice crack.

Amara was a famous beauty in these paths. With her short brunette hair, short stature, and adorable face, it was easy to get a feeling of protectiveness towards her.

“E-excuse me, Miss Amara.”

He immediately voice-cracked, and his face turned beef red.

“We’re not open right now. Please come back at a later date!”

She said, picked up an enormous spoon, and started stirring the bubbling cauldron of potion.

“O-oh, okay!”

With an embarrassed look, the young man rubbed the back of his head and left the store.

When he left, Amara went to the door, turned the sign to “Closed,” and returned back to the cauldron.

At that moment, her phone buzzed, and she saw that the Martial Order app was going crazy. She quickly went and checked it.

[Rockstar: The radio’s been going crazy about the stuff happening at God Island, and I swear that I heard them mention Martial Order!]

[Small Bird: I heard the same from the broadcast. If I have to guess, it must’ve been the words of the Old King, correct?]

[Wingless Butterfly: I thought the same!]

[Fish Who Drowns: Yes, the ones currently fighting the stranger are the Grandmasters]

[Detective: Right… You and Ballerina of Moon are the students of Hero Among Rulers. It must mean that one of them must be him, and if I have to guess, it must be the Fleet Admiral!]

[Fish Who Drowns: You are correct… Pirate Immortal is Imperio, and the one with the staff must be Old King]

[Craze: Does that mean we’re officially making our presence known to the world? What happens to the contract that we’ve done?]

[Cold Shade: We are still not allowed to speak about Martial Order to outsiders. Nothing has changed. It’s just that our existence is now public knowledge]

Amara wrote on the app and looked to the counter of the shop, where a small television stood—it showed the three figures fighting the stranger.

It was a mighty fight with the arena completely being destroyed, but since they were inside a closed space, the outside area wasn’t damaged.

‘With Martial Order now being public knowledge, I think we should announce ourselves to the world with a bang.’

She walked to the cauldron, stirred the boiling concoction inside, and added another ingredient to the potion.

She then took the large spoon and stirred the potion—she made the symbol of Martial Order, which was a half-closed eye—and then she dropped the final ingredient.

“Martial Order, O’ Martial Order!”
