Married To The Blind Alpha
Chapter 63: Happy And Scared

Chapter 63: Happy And Scared

Aria woke up with a serious headache and would practically kill to make it go away. How do some people continuously get drunk if this is the price they pay the moment they wake up? It hurts so much!

With a groan, she sat upright and noticed that she was putting on Tristan’s shirt.

How did she end up wearing his shirt? The last thing she could remember was drinking a lot with Nyla, and after that...what happened after that?

Aria gasped as memories of last night began to flood in. How could she act like that?

While grasping the things she had done last night, the door to the balcony opened, and Aria quickly lay back on the bed, covering her face with the blanket.

Tristan, who was rolling up his sleeves, stopped when he saw her action. He smiled and asked, "Do you have a headache?"

When he got no reply, he sighed and walked towards the bed, dragging the blanket off her.

Aria opened her eyes slowly and chuckled when she saw Tristan looking at her. "You...when did you wake up?"

"An hour ago." Tristan replied, removing the cover from the glass of water he had kept on the nightstand. He gave her the glass of water along with a white pill. "For your hangover."

Aria sat upright and accepted it. She had always hated medicine, but at this moment she would take anything if it meant her head would stop banging.

After taking the medicine, she gave the remaining glass of water to him, but he said, "Finish it. You need to hydrate yourself."

Aria did as he said, but she wondered why the air felt stiff. Did she perhaps do something that she could not remember? She emptied the glass and kept it by the nightstand herself.

"Are you going out?" Aria asked, seeing that he wasn’t exactly dressed in house wear. Her eyes moved from his bicep down to his... She never thought she could do such a thing, but remembering the way he had responded to her made her suddenly feel hot.

"Are you alright?" Tristan asked, noticing her flushed cheek. He even went further to place his palm on her forehead.

Aria quickly shifted away from him and said, "I’m fine; I’m just feeling hot."

"Hot? But the AC is on." Tristan said.

"Is it? Maybe I need to bathe." Aria said, looking everywhere else but at him.

Tristan looked at her silently and sat beside her. "You and I need to talk."

Hearing the seriousness in his voice, Aria turned to look at him.

"From now on, don’t ever get drunk when I’m not around."

With the stern look on his face, Aria didn’t even have the courage to say anything else; she just nodded her head in agreement.

"Why did you even drink so much? Was something bothering you?" Tristan asked.

Aria didn’t feel like it was right for her to tell Tristan about Hailey’s affair, so she shook her head and said, "I just wanted to have fun like the rest. Sorry, did I embarrass you?"

"You didn’t. You can never be an embarrassment to me; I just don’t want anyone else seeing you that way."

Aria smiled and replied, "You...you keep saying things that make my heart race."

Tristan was stunned for a moment and then smiled, lifting her face to him as he asked, "Is your heart racing right now?"

Aria could not tell where her courage came from because she was certain that she was no longer drunk, but her hand slowly unbuttoned her shirt and placed Tristan’s palm on her chest as she whispered, "What do you think?"

"Aria." Tristan called out her name with a sigh before clashing his lips against hers.

Aria returned his kiss and moaned softly as Tristan’s hand moved to her bust, caressing it as he sucked on her tongue.

Tristan groaned when he heard his phone ringing and decided to ignore it, but unfortunately it rang again, causing him to pull away.

Aria tried to control her breath as Tristan answered his call; she heard him saying, "I will be right there."

"You are leaving?" Aria asked, as he ended the call.

"I have some business to attend to with Cole, but I won’t be long. Samantha will be here in an hour or less to take you to the health center where your grandmother is currently staying, and after seeing her, you can explore the park with Nyla but no drinking."

"When will you be back?" Aria asked, although it was crazy, but she felt like she was already missing him.

Tristan’s gaze moved from her eyes to her chest before he replied, "At 6, we will return back to our apartment when I come back."

"Can’t we stay here for a little longer? They were so welcoming; it feels almost surreal." Aria said, remembering the games she had played with them at the party.

"Are you sure you are comfortable being around them?" Tristan asked.

Aria nodded. "I’m sure."

"Then fine, we can stay for a week." Tristan said as he stood up, "Call me if you need anything."

"Can I call you if I miss you?"

Tristan chuckled and replied, "You can call me if you miss me."

Aria smiled, and the moment he left, she collapsed on the bed, giggling like a high school girl in love, and indeed, to Aria, it was the first time experiencing such an exciting feeling. Her current feelings for Tristan cannot even be compared to what she once felt for Damien because only with Tristan does she wish for time to stand still whenever they are together.

Despite the happiness she was feeling in her heart, Aria couldn’t help but remember Hailey’s words about the possibility of Tristan having a second mate, and to add to her distress about that, there is this fear in her heart.

The fear that Tristan would one day leave her just the way everyone else has left her. How can one be happy and scared at the same time?
