Married To The Blind Alpha
Chapter 38: Wedding Invitation

Chapter 38: Wedding Invitation

As soon as Aria left the house, Tristan started coughing violently, and when he saw the blood he had coughed up, it was darker than usual, and immediately, he heard Zolan’s voice.

"I warned you."

Tristan let out a sigh and went to the bathroom.

After washing his hands and cleaning up his mouth, he focused his gaze on his white hair.

"Zolan."

"Hmmm." Zolan answered sluggishly.

"Don’t you wish to see her?"

Zolan kept quiet for a brief second before he said, "I do see her."

"You know what I meant."

"She will be scared of me. Unlike you, my personality isn’t exactly charming."

Tristan laughed. "You do have a foul temper."

"About the prophecy, do you think it is true?"

"That my child will destroy the world? I think it’s nonsense."

"What if it isn’t?"

Tristan frowned at the seriousness in Zolan’s voice and was about to say something when he heard Aria’s voice from the room, calling out to him.

He walked out to see her holding a colorful nylon.

"You got the dye?"

Aria nodded with a smile and said, "Let’s get started."

He was glad she was trying hard to not focus on the fear she had felt being trapped in that place, but he also needed her to know that if she wished to talk about it, he was also here to listen.

"Aria, are you sure you are alright?"

Aria’s smile faltered for a bit, but she quickly regained it and said, "I’m a hundred percent fine." She brought out the dye and dragged him to the bathroom, where they began the process of dyeing his hair.

........

Golden Rills Pack.

"Tristan’s birthday is coming soon. Does he not have any plans of coming back to his pack?" Lia asked Cole as he searched for a document in Tristan’s office.

"Lia, drop it. You say it as if he was here for his previous birthday."

"But this time he has a wife. A Luna who can’t even take care of her husband can’t certainly take care of the pack."

Cole sighed in relief when he found the document he was looking and focus his gaze on Lia as he said "Are these words coming out from the same woman who had rejected her mate, thinking she had a chance of becoming Tristan wife."

"I still have a chance. Aria is just like Eva, temporary."

"Suit yourself. Unlike you, I actually have work to do." Cole said.

Lia looked at the document in Cole’s hands and asked, "Are you going to meet Tristan? I want to come as well."

"Yes, I am going to meet him, and no, you can’t come. I can barely stand you, so let’s make our encounter as minimal as possible." Cole said and walked out.

"Jerk." Lia was insulted after he left, but suddenly an idea came to her. She brought out her phone from her pocket and called Aria, but there was no response, so she decided to send a message.

"I will make sure there is a party for Tristan’s birthday, and it will be a party that our beloved Luna will never forget.

.....

No matter how the event that had happened shook her up, Aria didn’t stop studying for her exam, and after today, she will be done with this semester exam and will have just one year remaining before she becomes a graduate.

"Pens up."

Aria quickly completed her sentence and dropped her pen.

As soon as the invigilator took her exam booklet, Aria stood up and immediately ran to Hailey’s department, hoping to see her there, but she wasn’t.

She saw a girl who she knew was Hailey course mate and asked "Was Hailey here for the exam?"

The girl shook her head and said "Hailey only came for the first two exams but after that I haven’t seen her. You are her roommate in the dorm, right? Is she alright?"

"I moved out of the dorm, so it’s hard for me to tell what’s going on with her."

"I hope she is okay. I must go now, my friends are waiting for me." The girl said and left.

"She didn’t even come to write her final exam. Is she alright?" Aria muttered and decided to call her, but once again, her call was sent to voicemail. Has she perhaps already gotten married?

As different scenarios of what might have happened to Hailey kept appearing in her head, her phone vibrated in her hand, and seeing it was a message from Hailey, she quickly opened it.

Hailey had sent her an invitation card along with a text saying, "Bring Tristan."

Aria zoomed in on the invitation and froze when she saw the name of the man Hailey was getting married to.

Her groom’s name is Damien. No, it must be another Damien; after all, Damien is a common name, but why did Hailey ask for me to bring Tristan?

Aria decided to call Hailey again, and this time she answered.

Since Aria wasn’t actually expecting her to answer, she became quiet for a while until she heard Hailey say

"If you aren’t going to say anything, then I’m hanging up."

"Wait! Why didn’t you finish your exams?"

"Because it’s not important."

"So you are dropping out of school? Is this Damien guy forcing you to leave school?"

"Why do people go to school, Aria? Isn’t it to get a degree and then get a job to be able to fund their good life. I don’t need such things. The man that has been chosen for me is not only an Alpha but he is also the CEO of a billion dollars company, that means I will be set for life"

"But...."

"The only reason I sent you my wedding invitation is because it is important you bring Tristan to the wedding."

"But why?"

"Tristan is the Alpha of the Golden Rills pack, and my future husband would like to form an alliance with him. My brother told him that I was friends with his wife, and since he has expressed his desire to have Tristan at the wedding, I must make it happen."

"What will happen if Tristan refuses to go to the wedding?" Aria asked.

"He won’t, because you will convince him to. It’s the least you can do for me right now." Hailey said and ended the call.

Aria frowned and wondered if it was Hailey she just spoke to. Why did she sound so different, so bitter?
