Married To The Blind Alpha -
Chapter 37: Desire To Mark Her.
Chapter 37: Desire To Mark Her.
Aria raised her teary eyes when Tristan’s heart began to beat slowly, and half of his hair was already completely white.
"Tristan, why aren’t you awake yet? Please wake up. Please."
Back in the forest, Kia narrowed her eyes at Tristan and said, "I know who Aria means to you. I saw what she saw."
"What did she see?"
"When I was trying to awaken her powers with pain, I saw her brief vision, and by the look of it, it wasn’t her first time seeing such a vision."
"What did Aria see?" Tristan asked Switch to frown.
"You and she, in bed, lying intimately with one another but with different names. Aitana and Devin. And you may claim that this prophecy will never happen, but if it was never going to happen, then I would never have seen it."
Tristan scoffed and said, "Even if it does happen, how will a child destroy the world? Does that even make sense to you?
"I do not know the details, but I do know this: if truly you are capable of ensuring that a child from you does not come into this world, then do it, but if you are not, then you have to sacrifice your child for the safety of this world."
"You have gone mad."
"It must not survive." Kia said firmly.
Tristan let out a dark chuckle and walked closer to Kia and was surprised when Kia stood her ground and did not move.
He smiled and said, "Tell you what, if truly I ended up having this child that will destroy the world just as you have claimed, don’t you think that I will kill anyone who so much as breathes danger to this child?"
"You said it yourself: you barely have two years to live, and if you do not leave this world, then your time on this earth will only decrease."
"I will leave, but you won’t."
Kia’s face morphed into fear as she took a step back, and her voice trembled as she said, "What do you mean? You said if I told you all I knew, you would give me protection. I have withheld no information from you, so why..."
"Indeed, I am a man of my word, Kia, but you see, you dared to touch my woman, and I see that as a sin that can never be forgiven."
"No, please don’t. Don’t kill me." Kia pleaded as fear formed in her heart. She tried to break out of this world she had created, but she couldn’t.
Tristan watched with a dark smile as Kia closed her eyes and started muttering spells.
Kia opened her eyes, and the fear was evident as she asked, "What have you done?"
"I did the same thing that you did to Aria. You trapped her in this world and gave her pain, and now you are trapped here."
"You can’t do this to me. You gave me the promise of an Alpha."
"I will fulfill my promise. I will give to you the same pain that you have given to my wife, and the end of your life in my hands will be my protection to you."
"No. I beg of you. I.....I only did that to awaken her powers. Please."
Tristan’s gaze became cold as he said, "Peri in hoc Mundo quem creasti"
"No!!!!!" Kia screamed in pain as blood came out from her eyes, nose, and ears, and she watched as Tristan disappeared, and soon after she collapsed on the floor with her bloody eyes wide open.
.....
Tristan opened his eyes to see Aria cleaning her tears and let out a sigh of relief. She is safe, but before he could say anything, she jumped on him, and he heard the trembling of her voice as she said.
"You are awake! Your heart started beating slowly, and I thought you would never wake up, and it would be my fault, and I..."
"Aria." Tristan called out softly, and she raised up her head to look at him. He placed her loose hair behind her ear and said, "There is no way I am going to leave you just like that. I still haven’t gotten a cure for your grandmother’s poison."
"It’s not about that. How would I live without you?" Aria asked, looking at him with her watery eyes, and without thinking, she closed her eyes and placed her lips on his, mimicking the way he would kiss her.
Tristan’s hand on her waist tightened as he took control of the kiss, and he raised himself up, helping her to straddle him without breaking their kiss.
As their kiss became more erotic, Aria felt something poking her, and unlike before when she would freeze, she found herself moving against it, and she could swear she felt butterflies in her belly when she heard Tristan groan.
Tristan moved his lips to her neck, and the desire to mark her suddenly became so strong that he could barely control it. He wanted to focus on this moment, and he would be lying if he said he didn’t love the fact that his shy wife was currently deriving pleasure from him.
"Aria." He found himself moaning her name as her movement became faster, and the moment her moans became louder, he captured her lips with his and let out a pleasurable sigh as she trembled in his arms.
Even though Aria was mortified by her action, she didn’t push him away; instead, she embraced him more tightly and said, "You will never leave me, right? Damien, Hailey, and my grandmother have all left me; you won’t leave as well, right?"
Damien? Who is Damien? Tristan thought with a frown and wanted to ask, but he could feel her vulnerability slipping off her, so he just held her close to him and whispered into her ear, "I will never leave you; I promise."
They stayed like that, and Tristan kept stroking her hair until he felt her relaxing in his arms.
Aria pulled away to look at him and his white hair and asked, "Why did your hair turn white, and how were you able to save me?"
"I will always be able to save you, even if you are locked in the deepest part of the world, and as for my hair, don’t worry about it. I can always dye it."
"Can I dye it? I once worked at a salon." Aria said with a smile, trying her best to lighten their atmosphere.
Tristan smiled and nodded, "I would like that, but for us to start, we have to first leave the floor."
Aria’s cheek became flush as she fully felt the effect of what she had done. She quickly tried to stand up, but her legs gave out on her, causing her to fall back again into Tristan’s arms.
"Careful," Tristan said as he caught her.
Aria nodded and this time slowly stood up. Her eyes widened when she saw a wet spot in his trousers, and knowing that she had caused it made her cheeks become as red as a tomato.
Tristan noticed her gaze and chuckled at her reaction. He didn’t want to tease her, so he also got up and said, "I don’t have any dye with me." He pointed to his white hair "I can’t go out like this."
"I will go buy some. Just stay here; I will be back immediately." Aria said and quickly ran out. Luckily, there was a convenience store just a short walk away from their apartment.
She was really glad when Tristan got her this apartment, especially because it was close to her school.
After buying the dye, the lady who sold it to her asked, "Do you wish to dye your hair?"
"What?"
The lady smiled and said, "I’m not trying to intrude. I just think you have a very beautiful hair color, and you shouldn’t dye it black just because some people don’t like it."
Aria laughed and said, "No, it’s not for me. It’s for my..." She has never once told anyone that she had a husband, but now it felt really nice as she said, "It’s for my husband."
The lady gasped and said, "You are married. My goodness, I didn’t even know. Why don’t you wear your wedding ring?"
How could she wear a diamond ring out on the street without any fear of being robbed? When Hailey estimated how much her ring could cost, she removed it right there, but she possibly could not tell this inquisitive woman that, so she just smiled and said, "I gave it out for repairs."
"Oh. Well, happy married life. I hope you and your husband stay together forever."
"Thank you." Aria said with a smile and laughed.
Immediately she left the convenience store, her phone rang, and her step faltered as she saw the number calling her. Why was Damien calling her again?
Should she answer it or ignore it? Aria asked herself, and before she could decide, the call ended, and Aria quickly switched off her phone before he could call again.
Since they have been apart for two years, it’s best they stay apart. If she were to answer his call, then he would begin with his nonsense of asking her to come stay with him. She has a life now with Tristan, and she didn’t want to ruin it.
’Are you happy?’
Hailey’s question rang in her head again, and this time, she could boldly say yes, that she is happy with Tristan.
